Peter it starts out in v40 with Jesus telling you the believer to be ready for his coming aka rapture.... then gives 2 examples of the same believer one hes ready and one hes not and shows you there are 2.differnet endings...N/A , those verses are not spoken to those saved by the 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13 Gospel exclusively taught to Paul by Christ in Gal 1:11-12
..
So what point are you trying to make ?
If you are asking regarding a different age/audience than believers 'today' then I will happily answer YES or NO
Is your question in reference to believers saved 'today' by the 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13 Gospel ?Told you theyd never answer such a simple question..... either the servant is the same or he is not the same.... yes or no...
Hey if you dont want to you dont have to but that tells people alot.......
Gal 1:6-9, Gal 3:1-4 is what you need to be worried aboutPeter it starts out in v40 with Jesus telling you the believer to be ready for his coming aka rapture.... then gives 2 examples of the same believer one hes ready and one hes not and shows you there are 2.differnet endings...

Disagree. We don't have to STRIVE to be saved.
Disagree. We have to STRIVE to stay saved!
You had to strive to be saved? Salvation is SIMPLE! No striving at all! You simply believe and confess!Disagree.

No. Me striving IS MY effort, MY power.Romans 10:9-10
9 If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
You don't have to STRIVE to stay saved?
That's a license to SIN!
Yup. Many believe…and do not have Christ (Gods Power) IN them.Romans 11:17-21
21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, HE MAY NOT SPARE YOU EITHER!
Written to Saints!

Ofcourse it does peter... in Luke verses 12:40-48 Jesus is talking about believers being ready for His coming..... the gathering together or rapture....Does not apply to saved believers today
Exactly, since it is grace thru that same faith that saves and that makes a believer whoses saved, it stands that only a believer can depart from that point.... since unbelievers are always giving heed to doctrines of devils otherwise theyd be saved too. The Holy Spirit speaks here because it is from Him who people depart from....OSAS:

Amen Yeshua!
Either gentile or jew must be saved by the same believing on His name theres only one path no matter where you start from or who you are.... faith comes by hearing the gospel about who Jesus IS.... we both jew and gentile must believe on His name.... again I find out who Jesus was in matt mark luke and john for the most part.... I read from them what He said and did. I need them first before anything paul says matters.... although paul also ADDS to the gospel towards believing it in faith...Is your question in reference to believers saved 'today' by the 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13 Gospel ?
In Luke 13:24, Jesus is not teaching salvation obtained or maintained by works, as certain folks would suppose. Strive to enter through the narrow gate signifies a struggle against conflict. Christ was not suggesting that anyone could merit eternal life by striving or working hard enough to obtain it based on the merits of their performance. No matter how rigorously people labor, sinners could never earn their way to heaven. (Romans 3:23; 6:23) Entering through the narrow gate is nonetheless difficult because of it's cost in terms of human pride and desire for sinful living which prevents them from choosing to repent and believe the gospel. Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ is the narrow gate (John 3:18; 10:9; 14:6) and it's narrow because it excludes self-righteousness/works-righteousness, false confidence in ethical background or merely a casual association with Jesus and empty professions of faith.Disagree.
