The coming of Jesus in Matthew 24 occurs at the 6th seal whether you believe it or not. That is what is written.

It does not occur when the seal is opened. Did not happen in Matthew 24 nor does it happen in Rev 6. It happens at the 7th trump. You are confusing prophecy/future events with actual fulfillment.

It seems to me that at some point the 6th seal involves the 7th trumpet. Therefore, problem solved since Jesus has to return during the sounding of a trumpet. Which also proves that trumpet 1 does not follow sometime later after the 6th seal. How can it if the 6th seal involves the 7th trumpet? IOW, the trumpet judgments take place during the seals rather than 7 seals first followed by 7 trumpets. The 6th seal alone proves it since it has to be involving the 7th trumpet at some point in order for Jesus to return during it, where you already agree that He does. Look at Revelation 11 again. It is during the 7th trumpet when He returns. It is during the 7th trumpet when His wrath begins. The 6th seal and the 7th trumpet both have His wrath in common. That's not a coincidence.

How could it David? The seventh trumpet is in the 7th seal. The 6th seal is complete before the 7th seal is opened, so it is totally impossible for the 6th seal to have anything to do with the 7th trumpet.

The reason this get taught is because many find it necessary to use a sledgehammer to beat everything into place because they lack understanding. If they would only apply logic and simple math.......7 comes after 6, they would shed this idea and find out what is really happening.

Therefore, problem solved since Jesus has to return during the sounding of a trumpet
There is no problem to solve. Jesus returns at the last trump which blown on the Feast of Trumpets. This occurs at the 6th seal. There is a harvest before the 7th seal is opened and the wrath of God begins. We get another view of the coming of Jesus at the 6th seal for a harvest in Rev 14.

Rev 14
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Which also proves that trumpet 1 does not follow sometime later after the 6th seal. How can it if the 6th seal involves the 7th trumpet?
That's just it. You are using something that is totally impossible........the sixth seal involves the 7th trumpet.........and are using that for a proof which is incorrect and not logical. Nor does is follow simple mathematical rules.

The 6th seal has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the 7th trumpet.

IOW, the trumpet judgments take place during the seals rather than 7 seals first followed by 7 trumpets.
Can't happen David. When the 7th seal is opened the 7th trumpets and 7 bowls occur.
The 6th seal alone proves it since it has to be involving the 7th trumpet at some point in order for Jesus to return during it, where you already agree that He does.
Jesus returns at the 6th seal for a harvest prior to the wrath of God. Believers are NOT appointed to wrath. He sends His angels to gather the elect from heaven and earth. ALL RETURN TO HEAVEN for the marriage supper. That is why there is a great multitude in heaven in Revelation 7, some of whom come out of great tribulation. Believers are in heaven during the 7th seal wrath of God. At the end of wrath, 7th trumpet / 7th bowl Jesus returns with the armies of heaven for Armageddon. This is the day of the Lord.

Look at Revelation 11 again. It is during the 7th trumpet when He returns. It is during the 7th trumpet when His wrath begins. The 6th seal and the 7th trumpet both have His wrath in common. That's not a coincidence.
WRATH IS OVER WHEN THE 7TH TRUMPET SOUNDS.

The great tribulation is over at the 6th seal. The great tribulation is the time of Jacobs trouble. This is when the Jews are hunted and killed. The Church is already in heaven before the seals are opened. The Lord comes at the 6th seal for a harvest prior to the wrath of God as believers are not appointed to wrath. At the end of wrath, the armies of heaven come for Armageddon. The is the day of the Lord. When the 7th trumpet sounds, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord. Armageddon is over and that's the end of wrath. The bowls have already occurred.

You need to understand the difference between the great tribulation and the wrath of God.

The 6th seal is prophetic visions of 7th trump events. Nothing occurs when the seal is opened other than the vision and just for John. Same with all the seals.

Revelation 14:14-16 is (The Last Day) end of this world harvest (The End)

(The Harvest Is The End Of The World, And The Reapers Are The Angels)

Matthew 13:36-39KJV
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

(The Harvest Is The End Of The World, And The Reapers Are The Angels)

Matthew 24:31KJV
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
++++Matthew 24:31KJV
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

At the same time of 1 Thess 4.16-17, 1 Cor 15.51-52
No mention of angels gathering DEAD & ALIVE believers in the twinkle of an eye.
What am I missing ?

As suspected, nothing :)
1 Thess 4.16-17, 1 Cor 15.51-52 is at a different time to Matt 24.31
Glad you agree t7t7 :gd
There Is "One" Future Resurrection Of "All" That Have Lived, And It Takes Place On (The Last Day), Simple, Clear, Easy To Understand

1.) 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 Is the Time Of "The Last Day Resurrection"

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17KJV
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 Is the Time Of "The Last Day Resurrection"

1 Corinthians 15:51-52KJV
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

3.) Matthew 24:31 Is the Time Of "The Last Day Resurrection"

Matthew 24:31KJV
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Paul clearly taught that when Jesus returns the resurrection of the dead takes place, (Then Cometh The End) its that simple (The End) not a 1,000 year kingdom on this earth as many "Falsely" claim

1 Corinthians 15:21-24KJV
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end
, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

The scripture above is in perfect agreement with Jesus being revealed in fire and brimstone as seen below (Then Cometh The End) as all the unsaved wicked are destroyed at the Lord's return

(Destroyed Them All)

Luke 17:29-30KJV
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

The resurrection of "All" is seen below and the wicked are judged to eternal damnation, this is when the "Final Judgement" takes place (The End)

John 5:28-29KJV
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth
; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Jesus clearly taught that the resurrection of "All" takes place on "The Last Day" this is in perfect agreement with the scripture above

John 6:39-40KJV

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

You are correct.

Actually 1 Thess 4.16-17, 1 Cor 15.51-52 are also at a different time from each other.

1 Thes 4:16-17 is the rapture of the Church. It will happen before the great tribulation when the Lord Himself comes for His bride.

If this is true, then why does Daniel 12 say that MANY that sleep in the dust of the earth shall be raised.

Daniel 12

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

This is the rapture of the Church and it happens before the great tribulation. This is when the Lord Himself comes for His bride in an hour that you think not.

This is the gathering from heaven and earth when the Lord sends His angels to gather the Elect at the end of the age which occurs at the 6th seal. Then the 7th seal is opened and the wrath of God begins.

3.) Matthew 24:31 Is the Time Of "The Last Day Resurrection"

Matthew 24:31KJV
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
This is gathering listed above and occurs at the 6th seal.

Paul clearly taught that when Jesus returns the resurrection of the dead takes place, (Then Cometh The End) its that simple (The End) not a 1,000 year kingdom on this earth as many "Falsely" claim

1 Corinthians 15:21-24KJV

You don't seem to understand verse 23.

Every man in his order. First fruits and then they that are Christs at His coming.

Christ is the first fruits of those that sleep. The dead in Christ will rise first at His coming.

The alive remain. The Lord returns for the alive that remain.

Then it starts over. WHY ARE THERE 144,000 FIRST FRUITS? Because there will be another harvest after blindness is removed from part of Israel after the fullness of the Gentiles comes in. Christ returns at the 6th seal at the gathering from heaven and earth. This is the second coming when all eyes see the coming of the Lord. Believers that are raptured go to heaven for the marriage supper and are the great multitude.

(Destroyed Them All)

Luke 17:29-30KJV
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Christ is revealed at the 6th seal, and this is the second coming. Believers are gathered from heaven and earth and then return to heaven for the marriage supper as believers are not appointed to wrath. The destruction occurs in the Day of Vengeance which is the 7th seal.

And yet many that sleep in the dust of the earth shall be raised at the 6th seal.

A drug dealer gets shot, who has killed many people with His drugs and guns. He is a lying, thieving, adulterer and is about to die. He calls out to Jesus and accepts Him as Messiah and asks for forgiveness and mercy with all his heart. He dies. Has he done good all his life?

This man will be raised when the Lord Himself comes for His Church.

And yet there will be a time when all those that sleep in the ground will be raised. These are those that were living before the time of Christ. They are raised at a different time as they are not part of the Church.

The last day of the Gentile age will occur when Jesus comes for His bride.
Then God will turn His attention to the Jews and the final 3.5 years of the 70th week of Daniel will occur. The last day of this age is the 6th seal.

I think you are missing the coming of Jesus at the 6th seal when He sends His angels for a harvest.
No, I agree with you in a certain sense, just not quite in the same sense as in Revelation 19 and 20, when the events of His second coming are actually "documented." In this cycle we are brought to the very threshold of His second coming, but the cycle stops short, even in the seventh seal in Revelation 8:1, of doing what the later cycles do. Cycles one through five are all the same in this respect. So... I'm not sure whether this makes sense to you or not, but again, I agree with you in a certain sense, but disagree in another... we see it coming, but we don't actually see it yet.

Grace and peace to you.

I wish it were true, but facts don't to seem to matter much around here.

If you show me something in scripture that proves me wrong, that is a plus for me. I would rather be wrong and learn something than cling to a false belief. There is lots of clinging around here despite the facts.

There Is "One" Future Resurrection Of "All" That Have Lived

No, there are 2.

Revelation 20 speaks of two groups of the dead that resurrect/live again.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The first resurrection is the resurrection of this first group of the dead because they resurrect first. The rest of the dead have to wait for their resurrection:

"the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished" (Rev 20:5)

This is the last resurrection of those who are dead. One group resurrected and "the rest" or the remaining ones did not resurrect when the others did.

This proves they partake of the second resurrection also known as the last resurrection because no one is still physically dead after they "live again". This also proves without a doubt that there are two separate days of resurrection separated by a thousand years and how long that actually is doesn't matter.

Part of the dead resurrect and then "the rest of the dead" will resurrect after a period of time. That's the dead resurrecting in two parts separated by a period of time.

The first group resurrects before the thousand years begins and the second/last group resurrects after the end of the thousand years.

Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

First group resurrection: "to everlasting life"
Second group resurrection: "to shame and everlasting contempt"

Joh 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life ; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation

First group resurrection: "resurrection of life"
Second group resurrection: "the resurrection of damnation"

Acts 24:15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

First group resurrection: "the just"
Second group resurrection: the "unjust"

Take note that in every passage where the resurrection of the saved and unsaved are mentioned that the saved or just is always mentioned first. That's important because it is they that resurrect first! Scripture never deviates from this order. Revelation, John, Daniel and Acts all say the saved first, then the unsaved in that exact order.

Luk 14:12 Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.
Luk 14:13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
Luk 14:14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

He did not say the resurrection of the just and unjust. He said only the just. Again, this is evidence of two separate resurrections. The resurrection of the just is only of the just, no one else.

What we learn from these verses is that there are two resurrections. One resurrection is to life and the other resurrection is to damnation and contempt. Two resurrections! Never is there a single resurrection of both righteous and unrighteous at the same time.

We also see here that the saved/righteous are resurrected first, and at some time later the unsaved are resurrected and judged.

What these verses do not tell us is how much time is inbetween the two. For that we have to go to Revelation 20 where Christ tells John there is a thousand years inbetween. "the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished". There we have the dead separated into two groups. One who are saved and will be resurrected and judged first, like Dan 12:2 and Joh 5:29 show, and the other group that has to wait until the thousand years are finished before they are resurrected and judged.
