No one is falsly accusing youWhy are you falsely accusing me?
You are saying you must do the work of being water baptized to be saved.
You accuse yourself.

No one is falsly accusing youWhy are you falsely accusing me?
A meritorious work is a work done to gain somethingWhen you give the scripture that teaches baptism as a meritorious work, I'll take you seriously.
Belief is a work, John 6:28-29No one is falsly accusing you
You are saying you must do the work of being water baptized to be saved.
You accuse yourself.
You are saying you must do the work of believing to be saved. You are saying you must do the work of being water baptized to be saved.
if your doing it to get saved, stay saved or keep from losing salvation
then yes.
Saying your obeying Gods command does not help
God commanded a jew to get circumcised.. Yet paul condemned them because they tried to add it to the gospel.
no different than you adding water baptism
Yes.
Spirit baptism is required
water baptism is not
You can not even show one saying it is required. so you the one who failed.
You do not make a doctrine out of one verse.
if water baptism is required. every time the gospel is given, water baptism would be required.
No.. And acts 2 does not say what you think it does
No one is falsly accusing you
You are saying you must do the work of being water baptized to be saved.
You accuse yourself.
No Bible, only doctrines of men.A meritorious work is a work done to gain something
If your getting baptized to gain salvation (as you did) then it is a meritorious work
Gods word puts responsibility on man to be saved.unless we must save ourselves.
You do the work of belief to gain salvation.A meritorious work is a work done to gain something
If your getting baptized to gain salvation (as you did) then it is a meritorious work.
Its the work of God. Not your workBelief is a work, John 6:28-29
- then said they unto Jesus, What shall we do that we might work the works of God
- Jesus answered and said unto them, this is the work of God, that ye believe on Him whom He hath sent
Again, you just proved your trying to earn salvation. You must do the work of God and believe.
You must do the work of God and be baptized.
Therefore your premise is false.
No one saves themselves in baptism apart from God.
God does the work of regeneration in baptism, Colossians 2:12-13.
You are saying you must do the work of believing to be saved.
Your ideas about salvation are inconsistent.
On one hand you are accusing me of teaching you must do something(baptism) to be saved.
At the same time teaching you must do something(believe) to be saved.
Your teaching contradicts itself.
I hold to new testament teaching alone!!! The Bible unapologetically teaches man must do/obey to be saved. Your gospel teaches against new testament gospel.
Acts 2:37,
- now when they heard this they were pricked in the heart and said to Peter and to the rest of the apostles men and brethren what shall we do
Acts 9:6,
- and he trembling and astonished said, Lord what wilt thou have me to do
And the Lord said unto him, Arise and go into the city and it shall be told thee what thou must do
Acts 10:6,
- he judgeth with one Simon a tanner whose house is by the seaside,
he shall tell thee what thou oughest to do
Acts 16:30,
- and brought them out and said, Sirs what must I do to be saved
The gospel never teaches man does nothing to be saved.
Obeying what Jesus says does not merit salvation.
No Bible, only doctrines of men.
Gods word puts responsibility on man to be saved.
Nowhere in Jesus' gospel does it teach man is not required to make any change in his sinful living to be saved.
Acts 2:40,
- and with many words did he testify and exhort, saying Save yourselves from this untoward generation
James 1:22,
- but be ye doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves
eph 2: 8-9You do the work of belief to gain salvation.
Nope. Because I am not doing a work of righteousness, like get water baptized. or go to church, or sell all I have, or any other command to get saved.By your own unscriptual definition, you are working, earning your salvation.
Calvinism. Its the work of God. Not your work
You deny Jesus and make Him a liar, John 6:28-29.faith is not a work
Taken out of context.eph 2: 8-9
for it is by grace I have been saved, through faith.. not of works.
Amen,Nope. Because I am not doing a work of righteousness
Nope. Because I am not doing a work of righteousness
No one is saved here on earth. Why are you trying to take Christ's assigned duty of review from Him?if your doing it to earn salvation. Keep salvation. or in attempt to keep from losing salvation.
then yes
If your doing it because your saved and out of gratitude for God saving you. and wanting to share that knowledge and hope to others. then no
NopeCalvinism.
If its Gods work and man does not work then everyone who does not believe is Gods fault.
For He did not work the work of belief in that individual.
Your teaching is not what Jesus said.
John 6:28-29,
- then they said unto Jesus What shall we do(not what God does) that we might work the works of God
- Jesus answered and said unto them, this is the work of God, that ye believe on Him...
Jesus teaches they had to do the believing.
I did what abraham did, And I was saved because I trusted God.Did you do the believing on Christ ?
Or as you just taught, did God do the believing for you?
Once again, Faith is not a work. You deny Jesus and make Him a liar, John 6:28-29.
1John 5:10,
- He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself, he that believeth not God hath made Him a liar, because he believeth not the record that God gave of His Son.
You believeth not Jesus that said we do the work of believing on Him.
lol. Water baptism is a boastful work my friendTaken out of context.
Paul is teaching on boastful works in this verse. Not works of faith that God requires to be saved.
If your working to earn salvation. then your doing it wrong. and rejecting the cross.Amen,
You're not doing anything to be saved by not obeying the gospel.
Acts 10:35,
- but in every nation he that feareth God and worketh righteousness is accepted by Him
James 1:22,
- but be ye doers of the word and not hearers only deceiving your own selves
I was saved. No one is saved here on earth. Why are you trying to take Christ's assigned duty of review from Him?
On earth we are born again.
Not correct! (here is the reason scriptures listed should be shown as correct.acts 2: 38 requires one repent to be saved. then tells those who are saved to get baptized.
Not correct. See acts 2 38.Yes.
Spirit baptism is required
water baptism is not
unless we must save ourselves.
Why ..explain?No.. And acts 2 does not say what you think it does.
You do not make a doctrine out of one verse.
if water baptism is required. every time the gospel is given, water baptism would be required.
You can not even show one saying it is required. so you the one who failed.
If u are alive...you are not saved. You can be ...born again, but no one is saved until Christ judge s after death or rapture.I was saved.
I was saved by grace through faith (perfect tense) eph 2
I was saved not by works of righteousness which I have done, but by Gods mercy (titus 3:5)
if your not saved now. Your condemned.
Good luck with that
Which is what you taught in a vain attempt to get out of doing the work of belief,Nope
Calvinism teaches God prety much has faith for you
Your work is to believe on Jesus Christ. Its the work of God. Not your work
meritorious work is a work done to gain something
If your getting baptized to gain salvation (as you did) then it is a meritorious work
Amen, eternally Grateful is twisting the scripture. Not correct! (here is the reason scriptures listed should be shown as correct.
Acts 2 38;
Not correct. See acts 2 38.
It says what it says...not what you have listed. There are many more that says the same.No.. And acts 2 does not say what you think it does.
You do not make a doctrine out of one verse.
if water baptism is required. every time the gospel is given, water baptism would be required.
You can not even show one saying it is required. so you the one who failed.
acts 2: 38Not correct! (here is the reason scriptures listed should be shown as correct.
Acts 2 38;
Not correct. See acts 2 38.
John 3, John 1, Eph 2, John 4, John 5 John 6, Titus 3. I can go on and on and on with passages that show water baptism is not required. Why ..explain?
It is not the only showing that baptism is required.
False Peter tells to repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of their sins.acts 2: 38 requires one repent to be saved. then tells those who are saved to get baptized
Jesus said I am, as did paulIf u are alive...you are not saved.
If i am born again, I have eternal life. hence I am saved. I will never perishYou can be ...born again, but no one is saved until Christ judge s after death or rapture.
Your the one who is attributing spirit baptism to equal water baptism my friend. not meWOW...how can you teach that we can over ride Christs' Assigned duty of review?
