Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

Well, it didn't go over very well in that Sabbath School class of people who don't wear jewelry and many of them phoned the pastor that I was demon possessed, and that the devil created jewelry for me. The next week a couple of elders were waiting for me, and told me I was no longer welcome.

the context about sin is "lawlessness." Lawlessness are sins unto death, not merely trespasses. Whereas, 1 John 1:7 are trespasses of someone walking in the Spirit.

How do you know this?

Just so you know, you can't trespass and walk in the Spirit at the same time. Walking in the Spirit means walking in obedience to the Spirit. You can't sin and claim to be walking in the Spirit at the same time. They are diametrically opposed to each other.

You can't do these things...

Galatians 5:19-21
19The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; 20idolatry and sorcery; hatred, discord, jealousy, and rage; rivalries, divisions, factions, 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

And these, at the same time.

How do you know this?

Because it says so at the beginning of the chapter.

4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. Therefore, the type of sin that someone born again of the Spirit cannot commit is lawlessness. That is against the commandments of God. Verse 24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

Just so you know, you can't trespass and walk in the Spirit at the same time. Walking in the Spirit means walking in obedience to the Spirit. You can't sin and claim to be walking in the Spirit at the same time. They are diametrically opposed to each other.

Yes you will be able to until you are completely spiritually mature, because trespasses are unintentional. Leviticus 5:15 “If a person commits a trespass, and sins unintentionally ..." Here is another verse to ponder, 1 John 1:7. What type of sin is being cleansed as we walk in the Spirit? "But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." Unintentional sins, that's what! Seeing as lawlessness is always willful and are sins unto death as in Galatians 5:19-21, 1 John 1:7 is NOT speaking of lawless sins of the flesh which can only be committed intentionally and in rebellion against God. That leaves trespasses which is the only type of sin in the Lord's Prayer.

The Old Testament is our schoolmaster. Read the sacrifice in Numbers 15:22-29. Then in verses 30-36 see that there is no sacrifice for someone committing lawlessness. They stone him to death.

You can't do these things...

Correct. 1 John 3:9 says we won't.

When you read 2 Peter 1:5-7 you will see a process we go through after all our past sins unto death have been cleansed from our nature where we can now partake of the divine nature of God (in the verses 2-4). These are matured in us by Jesus as the Finisher of our faith, IF we abide in Him. John 15:1-4.

What do you imagine it is talking about? Receiving a righteous man/prophet means receiving and not rejecting his message, right? AKA the gospel. It means receiving the One who sent him. Stop being so emotional. Your emotions don't bring about the kingdom of God. Nor any truth. You are not paying attention due to your own blindness.

His ever present panic leads him to be an accuser of the brethren and condemns others...but you can't see that because for some bizarre reason you have an emotional attachment to this guy .
