There's the problem with science in using it as a standard to judge religion; it relies on external verification. The Kingdom of God is Within You. Luke 17:21. Do you know this verse?

Please tell me as an Atheist, you recognize that everything that exists is limited and there are limits to what Science can tell us.
Yes there are limitations to science and what it can tell us, but the thing about science is, it never stops trying, it will continue to make enquiry until it gets to the right answer.

Jesus came back from it.

Everyone will come back from it -> some permanently, most temporarily. That’s the teaching of the Bible.

Why are you sad? You’re going to get what you want.
I didn't say that I'm sad. I said "it's a bit sad really."
Meaning that at the end of the day we're all in the same boat.

Why is it “a bit sad” to you?

Meaning that at the end of the day we're all in the same boat.

The message of the Bible is that we are all in the same boat. We don’t all stay in the boat.

A rescue ship has been sent. You’ve chosen to remain in the sinking boat and perish.

Why do I think that death is sad?? For the same reasons as most other people.

Death is a fact of life, I've seen it in action, it's verifiable and final. It's sad because it's the end of the line for that person, and it's sad for those who are left behind.

Just remember, you were invited not to be left behind. You rejected the invitation.

Here’s the thing, though: You still have time to accept the invitation.

As I've explained to you before, I have no idea what I'm being invited to.
I object to the fact that I may well be rubbing shoulders with undesirables from this life....
'born again' murderers, rapists and the like. You have stated that victims in this life could possibly have to interact with their attacker.
I've asked you about what my mental state will be like, will I have memories etc... Will I become an uncaring zombie that just doesn't think about all the good people who have perished?

Then you didn’t understand the Bible when you read it.

Why are you re-reading the Bible?

I'm asking you.... What am I being invited to?
You haven't replied to my questions about what you are expecting...
All that I can conclude is that you don't really know, and you have a vague idea at best.

I also think that generally, Christians can't answer the question I've asked because in actual fact, they don't really know.

The life of the age to come.

Yes I have.

You’re going to be ashes under my feet. That’s not vague. That’s simple truth from the Bible.

If I used your logic I would have to conclude that you haven’t read the Bible and aren’t re-reading it.

How can you be 100% certain you are correct and not understand what you are being invited to?
Where have you pulled that out of context quote from?
I've noted that you do this when you don't have an answer.i find it to be disingenuous on your part.

Follow the link. It will take you to your post #389 in this thread.

I take into account, which is to say, I give you the benefit if the doubt, that you haven’t figured out yet how the system is set up and works.

In an earlier post, you said you try to live a good, moral life.

Firstly, I don't remember saying that I live a good moral life, I remember saying that I try to live a good life.

Yea, that’s why I said you try. This shows how argumentative you are being.

I can easily live a good life even though morality is subjective and evolving, I'll give you an example.
I along with many people used to think that homosexuality was wrong and immoral, that was my view at the time, my views didn't stop me from living a good life.

Strawman. You are equating an opinion to morally correct. You even concede this opinion didn’t stop you from acting
morally correct.

I no longer hold the view that homosexuality is wrong and immoral, and I'm still living a good life.

Changing your opinion is not the same changing your choices.

Morality is evolving,

Here, you just repeat your assertion.

popular morality is the standard that people live by.

Circular Reasoning. Implied is invoking politics, aka ‘popular morality.’ Just because political winds change doesn’t mean morality changes. If homosexuality is wrong then it allows is. If it is not morally wrong, then homosexuality was never wrong. Given that you now believe homosexuality is morally acceptable and that is the popular morality people live by, why are homosexuals still killed in Islamic countries?

Yes there are limitations to science and what it can tell us, but the thing about science is, it never stops trying, it will continue to make enquiry until it gets to the right answer.
So, in your opinion, there are unchanging right answers in science but not morality?

Because morality is subjective. It's really that simple.in Islamic society the popular morality differs from western morality.
If morality is objective, why aren't we killing homosexuals.... Do you see how objective morality couldn't possibly be a thing.
