IMO:
o. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." (Genesis 1:1)
o. "Heavens and earth" = our universe
o. Hence before that creation by God there was no universe.
o. It is difficult for us to comprehend the enormity of God.
o. That is why you ask where in space was God.
o. God created the universe=heavens=space, God does not dwell in it.
o. Last two chapters of Revelation describe new heavens and earth.
o. Heaven is another dimension that was created by God for the angels.
You skirted my question again, and it's easy to know why. You just don't know enough of your Bible to be able to give an answer. So why don't you say you just... don't... know?
The ANSWER:
Per Hebrews 11:3, it says through Faith the worlds were framed by The Word of God, which means God spoke and His Word came to pass, immediately. Then it continues and tells us so that
things that are seen were not made of things which do appear.
a. That last phrase is stating that material matter (i.e., the universe) did NOT create itself.
b. That means that something OUTSIDE THE REALM of material matter created the universe of matter. Modern science agrees with this, for one of the basic laws of thermodynamics is the fact that matter today can neither be created nor destroyed, but only change its state (solid, liquid, gas, vapor). Only God can destroy material matter.
c. That something is GOD Who created material matter. His Abode we are shown is in Heaven, another dimension which His Word describes. Yet Genesis 2 reveals He at one time dwelt upon this literal earth, with His Garden of Eden on this earth, and His River of the Waters of Life, and the Tree of Life. Revelation 21 & 22 reveals He is coming back and is going to return this earth to that previous state with His Eden upon this earth.
d. God is a Spirit, Apostle John said in John 4:24. This means God is NOT MADE OF MATERIAL MATTER. Even though He created man in His Own Image outer Likeness, He is still not made up of material matter.
e. This then means material matter was created from... the realm of SPIRIT.
f. That then means only the realm of SPIRIT originally existed with GOD, WITHOUT material matter having yet been created.
g. The angels ("sons of God") were present and shouted for joy when God laid the foundation of this earth (i.e., made His creation; Job 38). That means God had already created the angels before He created material matter (i.e., the universe).
h. Per Isaiah 45:18, God said He did NOT create the earth in vain. That
"in vain" phrase is the same Hebrew word
tohuw translated as
"without form" in Genesis 1:2, and in Jeremiah 4.
