You are not thinking outside of the box then.

All I'm basically saying is this. The parable involves Jesus going away and receiving a kingdom for Himself, then returning later.

The chonology of events is not this---Jesus is born on the planet, then some years later Jesus leaves, then some years later Jesus returns.

The chonology of events is this---Jesus is born on the planet, Then some years later Jesus dies on the earth and rises from the dead on the earth, then some 40 days later Jesus leaves, then some years later Jesus returns. And that we can't get to what He does in the parable without Him doing this first--Jesus dies on the earth and rises from the dead on the earth

But if He had remained dead, which He didn't, there would be no parable in Luke 19 for Him to fulfill. He would still be in the tomb to this day. Therefore, He had to be born first, overcome all things first, die first then overcome death by rising from the dead first, before He can leave and go away to receive a kingdom for Himself and literally bring this kingdom with Him when He returns, the kingdom then being in a state that it can be seen with the naked eye and physically experienced, rather than unseen like now where it is experienced by faith not sight.

We have to keep in mind, thus far Jesus has not brought this kingdom to the earth where it can be seen and physically experienced rather than experienced only by faith. But His kingdom that He brings with Him is meaning the NJ, which then requires that the NHNE begin during His return. How can anyone argue that the NJ in Revelation 21-22 is not the kingdom? If it's not the kingdom, then what is it, the fact Jesus will be dwelling there forever?

Therefore, in my view, the NHNE must begin with the millennium, or if not that, Amil is the correct view instead. Since it is absurd that the NJ is not the kingdom. But the NHNE are a process that begins with the millennium and is not in it's completed final form until after the GWTJ, after satan's little season, after the millennium, after the 2nd coming. You are likely going to argue that that contradicts that the NHNE doesn't come down until after the GWTJ. And that I argue it contradicts that the NJ is the kingdom if the kingdom Jesus brings with Him is not the NJ. So why do you then believe Isaiah 65 involves the millennium? It is clearly involving the NJ and NHNE.
According to Peter in 2 Peter 3:13, the NHNE will be a place where righteousness dwells. But, in your view, it will also be a place where wickedness dwells for 1,000+ years. Why would Peter mention that the NHNE is where righteousness will dwell if wickedness will also dwell there?

And what about Revelation 21:1-4 where John indicates that the NHNE is ushered in when the first heaven and first earth pass away. You have the first heaven and first earth still existing when the NHNE is ushered in. You somehow have the first heaven and first earth existing at the same time as the NHNE for 1,000+ years, which contradicts Revelation 21:1. The NHNE will replace the first heaven and first earth. They will not exist at the same time. The NHNE is a place where there will be no more death, crying, sorrow or pain (Revelation 21:4), but you have death, crying, sorrow and pain existing in the NHNE for 1,000+ years.

People still reading the parables about the Talents and the Minas but having no understanding of what was being told to the respective audiences after they have read these two parables.

People are still not using their eyes to see or their ears to hear. It is so sad.
Well, you certainly aren't the one to correct anyone's understanding of the parables, that's for sure. You have many false beliefs all to yourself. God doesn't reveal truth to just one person, as you apparently believe about yourself.

That is a very different story that you are telling now. Previously you had said that I was presenting a different perspective that needed to be considered.

In this post you are attacking the person rather than the material presented. A false argument technique, put the person down rather than present evidence that refutes the arguments presented.

What I have been presenting concerning the Parables of the Talents and the Minas was being taught in churches over 60-70 years ago.

With the present focus on evangelism teachers have wrongly adopted the parables of the Talents and Minas to justify the churches need to "work" to bring about the evangelism of souls. The reality is that money is being used to oppress people such that they no longer have time to consider their spiritual needs because of the loans that they have been encouraged to take. The more we focus on making money the poorer we all become. Scripture teaches us that money is the root of all evil where our focus in on gaining more money for ourselve.

Shalom

The Scripture is full of occasions where God revealed His truth to one person who was often referred to as prophets and as Jesus noted, the prophets were killed because the people did not like what God was telling them to say to them.

After the prophets were killed from Abel to ????, the nation of Israel built white-washed tombs for them to hide what they had done before God.

What are you talking about? When did I say that? You must have me confused with someone else. I disagree with a vast majority of your posts.

In this post you are attacking the person rather than the material presented. A false argument technique, put the person down rather than present evidence that refutes the arguments presented.
You have offered nothing that is worth my time to refute.

This really has nothing to do with what is being discussed in relation to the parables in this thread. Do you have any thoughts about the original post in the thread that questioned whether the parable of the minas only applied to 10 of the disciples?

The prophets weren't literally the only ones who knew the truth. And you are not a prophet, so don't even try comparing yourself to them. You have many views that are completely nonsensical.

What if the one that received the one pound (My bible says pound) anyways,
What if that one who didn't put it in the bank was actually the smarter one because the bank might have crashed.
At least he still had the one in the napkin.

Speaking of pounds...
Mary took one pound of ointment and washed Jesus' feet with her hair, where Nicodemus took 100 pounds of spices and wrapped Jesus Body in the tomb.
Which was more valuable?

And you are not a prophet, so don't even try comparing yourself to them.

I have not tried to suggest to anyone on this forum that I am a prophet or have super spiritual giftings as such.

In both parables, they tell us clearly who the "person" was who went away to get a kingdom before they returned. I believe that it was Satan, who as the "Wicked Servant" told his master, he was not entitled to the harvest from the fields that he did not prepare, water or plant with seeds but wanted it anyway.

The wicked servant was the only servant who kept God's commandments with respect to the money he was given, he had returned the money as he had received it. The so called "Good and Faithful" servants did not keep God's commandments with respect to how they used the money they had received. They used the money they had received to turn a profit for their master and themselves and as they made their profits, they troubled the people around them.

It depends on how one hears it.

Because right after that Jesus goes up to the Temple and starts tossing out all the moneychangers.
Not like the widow who only had 2 mites and gave all she had, and for what?
But the ones taking it and profiting from it...

And this is right after Jesus meets up with Zacheus who took what was given and distributed it among the poor instead of in the bank.

Double edge sword?

Interesting

"Mina" apparently was an ancient unit of weight. Here it perhaps indicates weight of a precious metal.

We have been given a wonderful world to live in. We did not create it, rather it was given to us. We will all give an account of how we utilized it. (Romans 14:12).
