I believe the best way to understand God's grace is to let Scripture interpret Scripture. So I believe the important question is not whether we can earn God's grace through our works, but whether we truly understand the grace He has given us through Christ. We are not saved because we are good enough; we seek to live righteously because of what God has done for us.

I welcome correction if I have misunderstood any of these Scriptures. My desire is to understand God's Word in its proper context, not simply defend my own opinion.
