I have already told you to change your tone, and your above post does not make it look like you are at all ready to have an honest, objective, unemotional look at what has been centuries of
suspect teachings.
But I will get started (addressing the "unsaved soul" part of the topic, respectfully):
John said it correctly, "
No man hath seen God at any time" (1 John 4:12).
"No man." "At any time." Understand what is being said: "
man" in "
time", is "
of the dust of the ground".."
for dust you are and to dust you will return." But "
God is spirit", and "
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit." And it takes an act of God to reveal or open the eyes of those "
at any time" to see that which is only visible in the spiritual realm of God. Like this: "
Then Elisha prayed and said, 'O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.' So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha." Also understand, that the above spiritual vision given by God to Elisha...was not the Pentecost, Holy Spirit, experience of being born again of the spirit of God. So, no, everyone with the Holy Spirit does not see equally or fully, "
at any time" as many believe. Because,
in time, things are "
here a little, there a little" and limited to the spiritual gifts given by God "
here a little, there a little" for good works in the building of His church.
Therefore, when I said I have already stood before God and that He looked like my father--two things: First, I rightly used the scriptures to identify just what it was that I had experienced and what the circumstances should be viewed as...as there is only one spoken of in the scriptures that the words I used apply to. Granted, that makes me one truly sent from God (with those credentials and authority), or a demon. And yes--by all means, do test every spirit. Still, there is only one, and such a one would then be equipped by God to fulfill what? This is a huge subject--which began, as it is written with Paul. Was Paul the start or the finish--the fulfillment--of the church age and the times of the gentiles? Only the beginning. So, as Paul said, "
of such a one will I glory"--could he reasonably, actually, have been talking about himself--if the "
finish" was not to occur for thousands of years when the seventh angel is about to sound?
If you are reasonable, you will say, No, Paul was not talking about himself. If so, second, then the finish is spoken of by John.
If you are up to being reasonable, quote this and start a new thread.
