I like to follow the latest in Biblical archaeology. This article just popped up with evidence confirming the Bible's accuracy. Here is an excerpt:

Archaeologists excavating the City of David in Jerusalem have discovered evidence that a passage of the Bible is historically accurate.

Researchers at the site in the Jerusalem Walls National Park found many burnt artifacts dating from 2,600 years ago, confirming a reference in the Bible that describes the burning of Jerusalem by the Babylonians. Jerusalem is thought to have fallen around 587 BCE.

Oh yeah, they have found a lot. But something like over 90% of Middle Eastern Archaeology still remains buried. I suspect that means that something 90% of archaeological knowledge is buried with it.

They discover new finds all the time.:)

It is truly astounding , is it not ? When I look carefully at what I was taught in History at school, some 50 years ago, it amazes me just how much has turned out to be incorrect in SO many things..........Bless you Pia

On my Google news alerts, I have famous 3rd generation Eilat Mazar flagged for anything found. One of the big things was King Hezekiah's Seal:
