The Kingdom of God is amongst us.
Jesus said so.
And it is imaginary.
He said to prepare for the Kingdom is at hand.
Mathew 4:17

Then He went on to describe the Kingdom and tell us how to be a part of it. There are many passages on the Kingdom, which I'm sure you know.
If anyone needs the verses, I will look them up.

The best one I could think of just off-hand is The Beatitudes.
Mathew 5:3-10 and all of Mathew 5, 6 and 7 (chapters).

This is how we are to behave in the Kingdom and how we are to undersand it.

If we learn truth from men, then the original source is still God, the source of all knowledge, but even the Apostle Paul advised disciples to study the scripture to see that the things that he said were true. The problem is with people who for whatever reason, never crack the binding of a bible to examine the written word of God. Now, with audio recordings of scripture available people with the financial means remain without excuse, and there's always libraries available with the exception of remote and isolated places. Even in those places there are ministries that provide short wave radios and biblical exegetical programming.
