And whom are you attempting to impress with that blue veil thingy over your head?

Look, I found a good match for you.

Nice signature line,,,,second paragraph.
Ya gotta love CS Lewis.

Yeah, i do like his writing, for the most part.......as I get older, I appreciate his fantasy writing more than his theology - ironically (based on the quote)

His theology is so saturated with modernism that I find myself cringing a bit at his dualistic, simplistic reasoning......for example, reading mere christianity is painful because I can think of so many more possibilities that he routinely dismisses throughout the book - his Jesus, liar, lunatic, Lord reasoning actually causes me physical pain.

Hmm....perhaps I am a fusspot too?

But I am going to Narnia when I die...I went in a dream once and wanted to stay! :)

So I told my kids, "If I die in my sleep ( Im 76) don't cry for me... it will just mean I decided to stay in Narnia. " :)

I thought Mere Christianity is the best explanation of our faith that I've ever read.
Maybe I should reread it...
No one is perfect except Jesus. Lewis believes in purgatory and it's difficult for me to understand how anyone could believe in a purgatory. I've spoken about this to priests too and one told me it's actually a sign that God loves us. I've just recently understood what he meant, but what he meant is a scary thought so I don't think about it.

As to Liar, Lunatic, Lord - I actually like this line of reasoning. I knew it before I read the book; probably heard it in a church somewhere, or in a theology class (very SIMPLE theology!). I like to use it with atheists. It does make sense. Why would it cause you any kind of pain?

And, yes, we're all fusspots in our own way.
It's human nature!

I am home on the computer a lot........ boring

I live with a large family and they are busy doing things

And cant baby sit me......

So I am wonder if any one has or knows about any place on the

computer that there are different kinds of games for me to be

able to play every day ??????

I have been playing checkers a lot , but that only last a while.

It seems like most games and things are for more then one person .

Thanks for any help ! ::smile::

Grams,

Here's a list of Family Games online.

My sister plays Scrabble online with one person. Why don't you search for how to do that?

I'll check with her to find out the website on which she plays.

Thank You

At my age I am not able to play to many different games........
In my younger day's my husband and I would play pinnacle with friends
and I did not have time for much of any thing else.
When I was a child my family did not buy me toys...
I only had one doll , and back then my girl friend and I would play cutouts.....
old times..... those cut outs cost me a fortune 10 cents......:)

Grams,

I checked with my sister and she said: "I play Words with Friends which is like scrabble but I play it through Facebook.

"You may be able to just try www.wordswithfriends.com and see if you can play through that website".

It could well be...jump into some threads...you will get LOTS of attention then for sure...many just love "talking"...but mostly to themselves..because some aren't listening.
I think you are a very lovely lady, the kind any man would want to be with, the kind all women would envy, possibly even in the Rollo Tamasi line.....
