Eternal security is real.
It's what makes Christianity alive!
When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we know we are with God and all his promises are ours.

Romans 11:29-32;
29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.
30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience,
31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you.
32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

What this says is all we have to do is receive it and we have eternal security.
But don't kid yourself.
One who is truly filled with the Spirit of God will never give up their eternal security.

We receive this eternal security because of God's mercy on us.
Ever hear of the Mercy Seat of Christ?
If we believe, we will be there.

Praise the Lord!

Philippians 1:6
6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

1 Corinthians 1:8-9
8 He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. 9 God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39
38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The truth cuts both ways. The sword is double edged. Just as we can repent of evil and turn to the living God...so also we can turn aside to fables and dead religion.

Paul says this.

Rom. 11:21 For if God did not at all spare the natural branches, neither will He spare you.

God is love. But salvation is conditional. God is righteous. He didn't spare the first people who were called....and so we should fear and bring forth the fruit that He desires....holiness.

God will judge us according to our ways.

Conditional upon what?

Eternal life is a kind of life in the Spirit. We have a taste of that kind of life now...which is supposed to win us over to the cause of Christ and His kingdom. It is certainly not meant to give us a false assurance that we have some kind of guarantee because we are anything but a vessel. If we are filled with God...then we are holy. But if we are filled with a mixture of things from this world...then we are defiled.

Besides....which part of us is looking for a guarantee?

When commercials and ads are presented to us...is that to appeal to the inner man? Or the natural man?

So then salvation from God is NOT for the natural man at all.

We must be careful what we are trying to grasp the gospel with. We would not want to be disappointed on that day when all things are revealed.

The right kind of fruit. Obedience. Faithfulness. Faith. Mercy and not judging others. Humility. The character of Jesus.
Pleased to meet you.

Are you saying that the above saves us?

Or are you saying that the above is evidence of genuine saving faith?

What we should be desiring is to enter fully into His rest. We are to enter into His eternal life. And to remain there. This takes a sacrificial love for God and for others. Agape.

So we are learning to be as Jesus in the world.

I totally agree with you, wanting to be like Jesus.

Peter had to learn to go from Phileo to Agape.

People like to make salvation difficult.
It makes them think their good works will save them.
People say "nothing is free", even from God.
Everything is conditional.
You are so all knowing, you are putting God in a box, with rules.
None of your replies answer the OP.
You are out of line.

John 6:29
29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

God is love. But salvation is conditional.
Depends on what you mean by conditional. If the conditions are obedience to the Gospel, then that is perfectly valid.

However, if it means conditional upon the efforts of those who are saved, that is invalid. And in order to properly understand this, we need to understand the meaning of being justified by grace through faith, and receiving eternal life, and the imputed righteousness of Christ, as A GIFT OF GOD'S GRACE.

We can do nothing to earn our salvation or to retain our salvation. However, those who are saved are called (1) to be holy and (2) to maintain good works, which will be judged at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Good works being judged but still saved as through the fire?

People say "nothing is free", even from God.
This is the biggest stumbling block for the unsaved. How can eternal life be the free gift of God's grace to the one who believes on Christ, when there are no free lunches on earth? But that is the glory of God's grace. And the price was paid at Calvary.

Ephesians 2:8-10
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
