This past Tuesday I went with my wife for her regular check up with the pulmonologist. He took an X-ray which showed some kind of a spot inside one lung, which he says could be one several different of things. He sent her for a Cat scan to more clearly identify any problem. Today we are supposed to hear from him.

It could be some kind of a "plug" [uncertain what this may be] for which medication may take care of it. It could also be a tumor. If it is a tumor a scope of her lung would be needed to give us better idea of how serious it is and treatment options.

Please keep her in prayer.

Of course I'm praying for your wife, amadeus. She's your life, for many years....let us know the results of the tests

In Christ, always,

You and your wife are on my prayer list and in my heart and thoughts, just as Helen is. God is our strength, healer, comforter and so much more. God Bless and find favor with you both.

Thanks to everyone for their prayers. The doctor's office was supposed to call today, but never did. Now I guess we won't hear about the test results before Monday.

The Dr Office didn't call...sure CAN make one anxious...

However we have a A 24-7 Hotline to "Thee Supreme Comforter".

God Bless and Comfort to you and your wife,

Sorry they are making you wait. Hopefully that is a good thing though too, as if it were something dire, I would think they would have notified you? Either way, the prayers will not stop...♥

At least we have more time to pray about it.

Praying this spot goes away.

Sorry to hear this!!
Well John, I would take the none phone call as a good sign.
Up here they call quickly when it is urgent.
How is Kathy doing in herself. I am guessing she doesn't become a 'nervous kitten' like me with doctors , tests appointments??

You mentioned in the OP about it may be a plug.
I had many of those back in 2006 it can be nasty ...it is mucus that dries in the bronchial tubes and makes it hard to breath. I'd get coughing fits ( and now brace yourself, this sounds gross..) I'd always have a Kleenex ready, and out would come the plug..nasty and a bit scary. If I could feel it stuck I would lay over the bed hand my head and deliberately cough hard.
I HOPE this is Kathy's problem too. "For me" the root cause was wheat...eating wheat ( and yogurt) would cause a mucus build up.

I ate nothing but meat and veggies for about two months and have been great ever since. I can eat when about once a week now.

Standing with you and Kathy in this. She has been through so much. I pray her back is no longer painful?

Love to you both ...Helen and Dave x

Yes, the mucus plug you mentioned was the better alternative suggested even though as you say it could be nasty. Much better than the scope and tumor route. The breathing tests she has had since her blood clot in April of 2016 have been successively worse.

Thanks to you Helen and to all of those here praying. I said this coming Monday, but Monday is a holiday [Labor Day] here and the doctor's office won't be open until Tuesday. So Tuesday it is. Kathy's is having a few minor problems with a weight as it were on her chest, but mostly she is unable to sleep because she simply does not know.

The test was done last Tuesday. In the office, the day of the test, they told us they would let us know the next day. On Thursday we called and were told that they would definitely call us on Friday. Now Saturday, we are still waiting on man. How much faith can we have in man even when he has the best of intentions?

That my brother, is a very "good word". One we so often need reminding about, and as often as possible. ✟

It is tough. The body tent so strongly dictates to our spiritual life ...it pulls us earthwards when our souls needs to have wings and rise.

" Waiting " and the 'not knowing' is very hard and one which the Enemy loves to play in.

My own word for today is- "Don't think, thank." Kathy can borrow it. :)

Thinking, especially at night can be such a trap...its like a guinea pig on a treadmill...wears us out while getting us nowhere.

I am trying to give up the "why" word. It too wears us down.

Please tell Kathy we are praying with her. xx

Thanks...I still have to limit my time on here a bit, because of it making me dizzy and headachy...but I miss it and all of you when I stay off.
Bless you...H
