The "Like" feature

Not liking the "like" feature. I am lousy with "liking" a ton of stuff on here lol. It's like an addict. I even "like" posts that I do not always agree with 100%. Maybe it's time to put the "Like" feature to rest, and just keep the "Reply" feature as, you can ALWAYS reply to what you "like". Anybody following me here? lol<--- don't like lol either but, it does serve it's purpose

My biggest problem with that feature is the fact that I might be reading something I think is outstanding, and then, just about the time I want to :LIKE: the post, the writer goes and parrots some dumb stuff they were sold in Sunday School, and ruins everything they said previously.

Just ignore the function... At least there is no dislike button like on some other forums. That gets nasty. I think the like button is good....because at least it's positive. :) It makes people seem like they like each other....well at least some people do.

I wish there was a thank you feature for just contributing, and a like for the posts I agree with. Because I wasn't much of a liker on Christian Forums, but I have really put the button to use here. I just like a lot of what others post too for contributing. Just disagree with it. Plus I kinda helps me bookmark my spot. :)
