There is only one Beatles group...it's representatives are John, Paul, George, and Ringo.

There is only one Gospel...it's testimonials are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

"H. Richard, post: 439125, member: 6940"]There was a gospel (good news) to Israel that the promised kingdom was at hand (because Jesus was the kingdom). That gospel has been put aside, because of unbelief, until the age of the Gentiles is completed.

During the age of the Gentiles there is another gospel (good news) and it is a gospel of God's grace where He (GOD) has let His Son pay the price for ALL of the sins of the world..

Actually this is error. It is called Dispensationalism and it is a human way to explain what happened without the Spirit. The kingdom of God is spiritual and NOT of this world. You may have to ponder that. There was at NO time a risk of the kingdom becoming a physical thing. When the mob would have made Him king...He withdrew Himself. The kingdom of God does not come with observation (senses). It isn't a physical thing. It is a spiritual realm. Paul preached the same gospel as Jesus...the gospel of the kingdom. It takes God's grace to get there. Very few will be able to enter in....as Jesus said.

The kingdom of God will have come when God's will is done on the earth....just like in the prayer.

Both the gospel of the promised kingdom and the gospel of grace require that a person believe in them. As we see by history the Jews in Israel did not believe Jesus was their Messiah and King even though He accomplished many signs. They committed the sin of unbelief.

Today if a person does not believe Jesus' shed blood on the cross has paid for ALL their sins then they are also committing the sin of unbelief.

Contrary to the belief's of some God knows those that place their belief, faith, trust, and confidence in what He says in the time He says it. It is not for a person to have to prove anything to God. It is those that God give His righteousness too.

Again error...we have to prove our faith/faithfulness. An unstable man gets nothing from the Lord.

***
It is error only in your mind, not mine. God promised the Jews a physical kingdom on this earth for a thousand years. You are saying He didn't. That is error.

I am sure you believe what you wrote. But I don't. God knows the heart of His children. They don't have to prove anything to Him.

But if you believe you have to earn your place in heaven then by all means go to it.

Yes, I study the events in the Bible as happening in a chronological order and that is dispensationalism. To study it in a blended, mixed up fashion only makes it impossible to understand. For those that do that they are constantly mixing law with grace and most here know that. The law came by way of Moses but grace came by the Son of God. What you are doing is what most do and that is taking everything written to the Jews and blending it in with what has been written to the world. Jesus and the 12 taught the law. But that message was rejected so now God has given mankind another way and that is though faith in His Son's work on the cross. ---- Salvation is the work of God and not by the works of Man.

Have you been to the Temple yet with your sacrifice? How far do you walk on the Sabbath?

It is the resurrection of Jesus that changes everything. He is risen. That means He is available and able to give us His power to do as He did. We are not to try being so good that we can be sinless on our own. We are sinless only by entering into Christ...where there is no sin at all.

REALLY!!!! are you healing the sick are you keeping the law. Jesus said that no man could keep the law but I bet you don't know where that is found in the 4 gospels. Do you home work and look it up.

We fulfill the law through grace...which is the power to walk as Jesus walked. That is what the gospel is about. We can have a share in the life of God.

Luke 18:31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

18:32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:

18:33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

18:34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

It can be seen in verse 34 that the apostles had no understanding of the blood sacrifice and resurrection that Jesus was facing.

It is evident that there is not just one gospel.

It is only logical to uphold that the gospel they were presenting was not the same gospel Paul was preaching.

They were preaching the gospel that Jesus is the Son of God.

Mark 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

They were preaching the gospel of the coming of the kingdom on earth.

Mark 1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

The gospel that Paul preaches is our gospel for today. This is the gospel by which we are saved.

15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

1 Corinthians 15

We are all sinners who can not save ourselves.

Christ died for our sins; He was our substitute, He paid the full penalty and debt for our sin by his blood sacrifice.

He was buried.

He rose again for our justification ( to declare us righteous) and forgiveness of all our sin. He gives us His righteousness and eternal life.

All we have to do is believe the gospel.

Believing is being persuaded that something is true.

The moment you believe you have eternal life.

Trust the gospel of your salvation. Place your faith in Jesus Christ, in his blood, his death and his resurrection.
The gospel began in Eden and developed over the centuries. Each having more detail than the others. Jesus preached the gospel of the Kingdom as a present reality, not the future physical kingdom we hear about today. And after Calvary the same gospel developed more as the New Covenant unfolded. If we were to preach the gospel today, it would be about the present kingdom and the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

“But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.” (Matthew 12:28)

“But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.” (Acts 8:12)

Which one did you have in mind? In each case, the Greek word translated "gospel" means no more than "good news, good message, or glad tidings." Sort of like the Greek word translated "church", which always means "assembly", as is seen when used of the pagan silversmiths in Ac 19. Dangerous to build strict doctrine around such generic words.

The gospel of the kingdom
The gospel of the kingdom of God
The gospel of the grace of God
The gospel of God
The gospel of Christ
The gospel of Jesus Christ
The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ
The gospel of His Son
The gospel of your salvation
Christ’s gospel
The gospel of the blessed God
My gospel
Our gospel
The gospel of peace
The gospel of the circumcision and the gospel of the uncircumcision
The everlasting gospel

Think of the gospel as a combination plate. Only today we are short a few tacos and enchiladas. And our enchilada sauce is only hot if you choose that it be......

There is only one gospel, the gospel of the Kingdom, i.e. the rule of God where all will be restored again because of the fall. This entails sacrifice and salvation and all the other adjectives used for the gospel. Not sure what the disciples originally understood, but the the death and resurrection of Christ is the means to fix fallen man, namely being born anew as a new creation instead of Adam's fallen one. The object of atoning for sins is not to relish with admiration all thru eternity what was accomplished there (as wonderful as it is) but as a means to continue on. Without it, we would all simply die and everything would end there. It would be beneficial to also point out that promise of Messiah was wrapped up with all the Abrahamic promises, which included a national people and King (Kingdom), so both the cross and Kingdom are part of the same plan.

Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision (Israel), period, Rom 15:8. He was sent ONLY to the lost sheep of the House of Israel, period, Mt 15:24. With the few Gentiles He talked with, He never preached the Gospel of the Kingdom. Why? Because the earthly Kingdom of Heaven was ONLY for Israel. This is proven in Ac 1:6, when the 11 asked Christ, "Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?" Christendom tries to smooze this over by saying the 11 were mistaken. However, the 11 had just gone through a 40 days Bible study given by Jesus Christ, concerning the things of the Kingdom, Ac 1:3. The only person in history that knew more about the Kingdom of Heaven, than the 11, was Jesus Christ.

The gospel of the Kingdom that Christ preached during his earthly ministry, that the 12 preached all during Acts, and that Paul preached for the 1st 9 years of Acts, has no part for anyone living today. Nothing that Christ preached during His 3-1/2 years ministry will tell us ANYTHING about our future. Why? Because His ministry was to Israel, not to the Gentiles. We can find out our future ONLY from Paul, the ONLY apostle we Gentiles have, in his latest, most up-to-date epistles, those 7 written after Acts had ended. The information in those was given to Paul by special revelation from Jesus Christ, Eph 3:3. Everything in those 7 epistles was part of a mystery hid in God since the world began, Eph 3:5,9. In this new dispensation, we find that we Gentiles now have a Hope of residing in the uncreated Highest Heaven, the abode of God, where Christ sits at the right hand of God, Eph 1:20 (Christ), Eph 2:6 (Us). In the other 59, 100% Israel books, including Paul's 7 Acts books, no one ever had a Hope of going to the Highest Heaven. The hope in those 59 all-Israel books was either the New Earth or the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of the created starry New Heavens and attaches to the New Earth.

Everything in Paul's Acts Books was based on the OT, Ac 26:22. Nothing in Paul's post-Acts books has ANYTHING to do with the OT, since it all was contained in a mystery before the OT even began. Therefore, it is dishonest to combine the 7 with the 59 (except for Deity truths and salvation). They have absolutely nothing to do with each other. You can't have both, because they contradict each other. Do you want the Highest Heaven or do you want the New Earth? Do you want the Appearing which resurrects you to the Highest Heaven or do you want the all-Israel rapture where you meet the Lord in the air, at His 2nd Coming, at the 7th trump of Revelation, and return with Him to the Earth, like the scripture says?

If you want the Highest Heaven, there is evidence you must give up all those things that were given to Israel, but were never given to the Gentiles, except all of those saved Gentiles during Acts, who were part of Israel, since they were all grafted into Israel, and the only blessings they had were borrowed from Israel.

Here's a short list of those all-Israel must be eliminated from our all-Gentile Doctrine: the Lord's prayer, the Lord's supper, Christ's gospel of the Kingdom, the Great Commission, the churches in the Gospels and Acts (we have a new church in Eph and Col), the New Covenant, the sermon on the mount, all of the Law, water baptism, the Gifts of the Spirit, the idea that you are the seed of Abraham, the New Jerusalem, the idea that we are part of Israel, the idea that Israel are God's chosen people at the present time (Israel was actually set aside in about 63AD), that prophecy is being fulfilled today and that the present nation of Israel was the fulfillment of prophecy, and, of course, the Rapture. And that's only the tip of the iceberg.

None of those things are Truth For Today. Getting rid of all that Israel baggage and finding your Hope and Calling only in Paul's 7 post-Acts epistles, as you should do, is what 2Tim 2:15, RIGHTLY dividing (CORRECTLY cutting) God's Word of Truth is really all about. As it says in 2Tim 2:15, if you do CORRECTLY Cut His Word, you will be approved unto Him and will have no reason to feel ashamed

If you do all of this, you can, one day, be translated during the "Appearing", to the Highest Heaven, where Christ sits at the right hand of God and be part of the "Kingdom of His Dear Son", Col 1:13. Forget about the earthly, all-Israel, Kingdom of Heaven. You can't have it, no matter what you are taught by the mainstream Denominational Churches, who are essentially Jewish Synagogues that teach unobtainable Jewish doctrine to unsuspecting Gentiles. Many are excellent in helping you get saved, which is great, but after that you are better off leaving these non-Biblical churches and having real Bible Studies in a home.

I might mention that the term, "Kingdom of God", is an all-inclusive term that includes all of the future Kingdoms in the both created and uncreated Universe. The Kingdom of Heaven can be called the Kingdom of God (as it is many many times in the Gospels), but the Kingdom of God can't be called the Kingdom of Heaven.

If people would just study their Bible, and believe what it literally says, where it literally says it, instead of trying to spiritualize everything, which is ALWAYS a subjective endeavor, they might develop a real understanding of the Bible. Everything I've said is scriptural.

Yes, he was sent to the lost house of Israel, who are in turn the lost tribes, his "other sheep". These are (became) Gentiles and in turn Paul revealed that the Gentiles (of non-Israelite origin as well) were included as the surprised apostles found out later in acts. Israel was God's light-bearer to the rest of the world who gave his laws his feasts and such. Before Christ, a stranger joined to them. With Christ, they are joined to him and become fellow heirs of the commonwealth of Israel, which the Kingdom they foreshadowed was of the future Kingdom over the whole world. The Kingdom i.e. Israel were heirs of the entire world. That fact is beyond dispute. There are not two (or more) gospels.

Are you a believer in Anglo-Israelism? In any case, there is ZERO scriptural proof of ANYTHING you just said. Books, Chapters, and verses, please, if you want anything you said to carry any weight at all..

The Gentiles will be fellowheirs, but certainly not in the commonwealth of Israel. That's absurd. The Israelites (and those few Gentiles during Acts) who have won the race and will be in the New Jerusalem with celestial bodies, will be the Bride. The Gentiles in the Highest Heaven, who are the actual Body of Christ, (Eph 5:30 " For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.") will, along with Christ, make up the Groom since, as His actual Body, we go where He goes. We are told to put on the "New Man" (Eph 4:24). The only place a man can be called a woman (Bride) is in our present totally immoral society.

The 12 never did begin the Great Commission, which was given ONLY TO THE 12. They were too busy during Acts trying to get Israel tio repent and accept Christ as their Messiah, which was the only purpose of everyone during Acts. This was because Christ said in Mt 23:39 and other places that He would not return and, therefore, would not set up their Kingdom until Israel, as a nation, accepted Him. The only Gentile ministered to by any of the 12, during the Gospels or Acts, was Cornelius in Acts 10. The 12 will, though, some day, go to the ends of the earth and evangelize the world. Although mission work is theoretically good, it has absolutely nothing to do with the Great Commission. There is nothing in the scriptures to indicate that anyone except the 12 would be doing the Great Commission.

James knew that no tribe was lost, when he addressed his Book, "to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad". Scattered, Yes. Lost, No. Paul didn't think there were any lost tribes, Ac 26:7. Christ didn't think they were lost, Mt 19:28. No one that believes their Bible thinks they are lost - only those that have been deceived by false teachers, like the Armstrongs or the Mormons. So, you say that Israel (the 10 tribes) are lost. The only way they were lost was due to unbelief and that's a main reason for Christ's ministry. If Israel were truly physically lost, are the following verses possible? Of course not!! In every instance I found, the term. "Israel" in the NT, when referring to a "people", referred to the 12 tribes and not to the 10, as it did in some of the OT.

Mt 10:6
But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (said to the 12)
Lk 1:80
And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel. (John the Baptist)
Jn :31
And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. (John the Baptist)
Ac 2:22
Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
Ac 2:36
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Ac 3:12
And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
Ac 4:8
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
Ac 4:27
For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

That's enough. All these referred to their present day or earlier NT times. There are about 12 more that I could quote. Anyway, these are plenty of proof that, when the term, "Israel" is used in the NT, it means 12 tribes and not 10, with no exceptions that I could find. Sort of like the term, "Jew" in the NT. In most (or, all) places, "Jew" means a member of one of the 12 tribes of Israel, not a member of the tribe of Judah. It may, in a few instances, mean a resident of Judea.

Issac Newton was also an alchemist, which would put him in a class of anti-science fools, believers in non-Biblical spiritualism, and deluded charletons.

I personally think you are confused. Dispensationalism is not a theology. It is how we study the word of God. We don't mix what is said to those in an age with those said to those of another age and try to bring it into a theology. But I am sure I am wasting my time trying to explain that since you will always ignore it.

Your statement "Spiritual things cannot be understood by the natural mind....enter dispensationalism. There is a judgment for all people...we all need to be accepted into the beloved. There are no guarantees in reality. We need to be faithful till the end.

Yes, we are to be faithful till the end and that means keeping faith in what God has done for us. Sorry but I see what you are saying is that we must trust in our keeping rules etc. and not sin. This as man trusting in what he does to earn a place in heaven. Talking about being faithful, no man is completely faithful. But God is. Jesus said all that come to Him will not be refused. He paid for all the sins of everyone who places their faith in Him and will not cast them out. He does not have to continual pay for their sins. His one time shed blood is powerful enough to do that.

You, and others, keep saying that a person must become like Jesus to be saved. IMO that is the same message Satan gave Eve, do this and you can be like God. Your theology teaches that unless you become like God you can't be saved. There is no mention that salvation is the gift of God. Once you have it God will not take it away because He is faithful.

But I know this is all over your head and you will just continue to say the same things over and over again. There is an saying in the South that talking to someone who never intends to accept what is said is like talking to a fence post. From one fence post to another bye.

My own self-interest does not extend to the point where Dispensationalism has any pull on me....away from the truth.

There is only one Beatles group...it's representatives are John, Paul, George, and Ringo.

There is only one Gospel...it's testimonials are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

You would do well to study the words written by Paul since Jesus Himself sent him to the world to preach it.

LOL, my own self-interest does not extend to the point where the gospel of self works to become like God has any pull on me because it isn't the truth. Salvation is the work of God, not man.

...ah...but it does extend to cherry picking certain verses that sound like grace is for those who put their self-interest in certain verses...in order to twist their meaning.
