You are not me why did you care?
People are all born very selfish. As an infant this a survival mechanism, but to get along with anyone we must change. Jesus was the one who rather being selfish was selfless. Christians are supposed become like him, so when you see a lot of selfishness still in a person we must wonder where is the Jesus? You are not me why did you care?
The two Great Commandments:You are not me why did you care?
Everyone is a pox on the world if they are not Saved and they are just a curse on all.You are not me why did you care?
Yes, it says I don't tell some kid I love him because I was ordered to by God.That speaks volumes...
Ah, but you have shown Agape love, which is the kind we are called to. Simply by the giving of your time to even post something encouraging. Kind of like, "And whoever gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is a disciple, truly I tell you, he will never lose his reward."10:42Yes, it says I don't tell some kid I love him because I was ordered to by God.
Yes, I care about sincere seekers (even if their seeking is only sometimes partially sincere), but I can't really feel any "love" for someone I don't know.Ah, but you have shown Agape love, which is the kind we are called to. I hear you on that. I don't think anybody can but, we can show His love and you did IMO.Yes, I care about sincere seekers (even if their seeking is only sometimes partially sincere), but I can't really feel any "love" for someone I don't know.
Thank you...… and "Likewise", about your posts.I hear you on that. I don't think anybody can but, we can show His love and you did IMO.
The trouble with boasts like this is that it is all too easy for anyone here to check the archives, and see some of the "loving" things we have actually posted previously. (Oops!)The love of God is shed abroad in the heart of every genuine bona fide born again believer (Romans 5:5). And that is all I have to say about any of this. To say, "I don't love you," is not exhibiting God's love, impaho.
But I understand that you either do or you don't.
What I protest is the subtle implication that the love of the Lord that is in my heart isn't genuine. I know that it is. And that is not glory to me...it is glory to the Lord! It is His love that He has placed there...and I think it has been shown in deed and in truth.
Praise God...I know exactly what you are talking about...and what you don't realize is that those things were indeed said out of genuine love, even though they were harsh words intended to wake someone up out of a false belief and to save them. The trouble with boasts like this is that it is all too easy for anyone here to check the archives, and see some of the "loving" things we have actually posted previously.
