Yes, of course I can answer your request(s) and any other ones, although I believe you will still be upset with me because of my answers. You won't like even one of them I imagine.

You know I have a query for you. Why is it that folks like me and some others on this forum have to extensively explain and defend their beliefs from the ones throwing out just one-liners, with no or minimal defense of their own? It seems all one-sided don't you think? Of course I know the answer; have known it for years.

Jesus is the Lord (Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:21). The Father is the Lord (1 Corinthians 8:6, 1 Corinthians 12:3). There is one Lord (Ephesians 4:5).

Well without any compromise, just with an open understanding, let me suggest this. I will try and be precise and not make a general or easily misused statement.
As long as we know that the Father, our God Almighty is the one true God that is to be only worshipped, we can show ‘worship’ also to our Lord Jesus if and only if we have in our heart and mind that we are worshipping the Father because Jesus is the Lamb, the Messiah, and his Son.
If we ‘worship’ Jesus our Savior in any other way, independent of the Father, then we worship an idol.
Every believer must find a way to clearly delineate this in their heart, comfortably and confidentially. Of course, we must first believe that Jesus is never God. I believe that this is the rub here.
The subject of ‘bowing down,’ ‘worshipping’ and giving honor or respect is an extensive Biblical study. It really involved history and its cultural use to a great extent. Too long to develop in Posts, back and forth.

It is a general or easily misused statement to say Jesus is not to be worshipped? Is this a backpedaling or have you changed your mind ?

Every single verse you gave has already been addressed in this thread. I recommend you read the thread before posting more verses and accusing people of not knowing the Word.
Ok, one last time stunnedbygrace I hope you did understand what I wrote. It seems you did not by your response.
There is no Trinity, no Jesus = God and not independent 'worship' of Christ. No back peddling or changing of mind if you truly understand what I wrote. Jesus is to be honored and respected as an immortal being raised by his Father to the highest level with full authority over earth and in heaven.
Now who really is worshipped here according to scripture, stunnedbygrace? One hint, it is not the Son, it is what the 1st commandment states.
You cannot truly worship God Almighty and honor the 1st commandment if you worship the Son, alone. The Son is the creation and we cannot worship the creation alone, right? We truly worship the Father because we bring to mind and heart h is power, his creations, his love, his grace...etc. That is why I worship him, he is my life!
Cannot make it any clearer for you.

This is the "Christian Apologetics Forum" where Christian beliefs are questioned and Christians defend their beliefs with Scripture. Can you defend your beliefs without getting angry? If not, feel free to not reply.
Yes I see that you cannot make it any clearer for me. How could you make a muddled mess clear? And yet all the scriptures i have given still remain, despite your assertions. Including: to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

I do regret my sharp tongue to you Apak. I do not regret striving against a different Jesus being taught but I surely do regret my shrillness. I am sorry for it.

In the quote here of yours are you speaking about one of @bbyrd009 's favourite subjects..ie the worship of Nehushtan ..the snake on the pole worship?
Reading through these posts , I don't feel that is what Stunned..is saying. I too do not agree with those who worship " gentle Jesus meek and mild "..with blue eyes and long brown hair.
That is not who He IS, that is who He was , for 33 years.

Amen..I was just saying to someone...one of the reasons I like this Forum Site is that it is wide based...and the moderation is not heavy handed.
