Revelation 17:15-18
[15] And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. [16] And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. [17] For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. [18] And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

How do they eat her flesh?

This is talking about the city of Rome. It was capital of the roman empire and Roman religion.

The religion became Catholicism and the empire broke down and 10 nations refer to as toes in the bible.

Under the AC the pagan emperor worship will be restored and the 10 toes reunited under the AC emperor.

Look at the map of EU and you basically have the boundaries of that restored empire.

Revelation 17:15-18 New International Version (NIV)
15 Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages. 16 The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to hand over to the beast their royal authority, until God’s words are fulfilled. 18 The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”

The bible makes it clear Rome will be wiped off the face of the earth.

To eat means:

The KJV New Testament Greek Lexicon
Strong's Number:

  2. to eat (consume) a thing

How do they eat her flesh?

Those "10 horns" shall devour her. Take over, destroy...
The iron and clay cannot mix. They can never be One.

How do they eat her flesh?

Consider what we need to eat in order to please God and obtain Life:

"Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you." John 6:53

But all of us have formed bad habits in our diet. I am not talking about eating meat and potatoes. Remember that old saying with regard to computers: Garbage in, garbage out.

It does not apply only to computer usage nor to feeding the human body of flesh. Rather it is speaking of the wrong kind of spiritual nourishment.

Mic 3:1 And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?

"Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;

Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings." Micah 3:2-4

How do you get that opinion from the verses? I'm curious.
The language is the same as when Jesus said 'Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them". John 6:56
Its principle is ingesting Jesus's reality ie, values, priorities, objectives, purpose.
Scripture must be used to interpret scripture. This case is clear.

Actually, it's not the same. It is symbolic, whereas the destruction is literal.

And not actually eating Christ's flesh or drinking his blood.

As well, there's more to that passage, and it is destruction, not absorption.

But I do find it very interesting is you quoting Ellen G White, a historical cultist.

Don’t know why but your post makes me think of (2 Kings 4:38-41).

Don't we "eat" his flesh? Is not Jesus the Word made flesh as per John 1:14? Do we not consume that Word so as to obtain the Life which Jesus is?

You eat bread and drink wine. Or do believe in transubstantiation?

Do you believe the sacrificial lamb of the OT actually became Christ?

Or the Temple high priest became Christ?

Or the angels on the Ark of the Covenant were real?

No, all are in keeping with the shadows and types of the OT.

I don't consume bread made from grain nor do I drink of wine made from grape which men, both Catholic and Protestant often call communion. That communion of the natural food and drink is still a type and shadow of the real thing.
Do you believe the sacrificial lamb of the OT actually became Christ?
No, those were types and shadows of the real thing. The real thing is the Word of God which is Jesus.
Or the Temple high priest became Christ?
No.

Or the angels on the Ark of the Covenant were real?
What is reality to God? Is it not Life? Until Jesus came was not every man from Adam forward dead? God gave men messages through priests and prophets, men of God to direct them properly. Still even then all of those things, in and of the Tabernacle in the wilderness and the Temple built by Solomon were types and shadows. They were constructed under God's direction, but by the hands of men. Is reality built by the hands of men?

No, all are in keeping with the shadows and types of the OT.
And what of the shadows and types of the NT?

The new NT calls it that the lord's table and breaking bread with wine as Christ and the apostles did at the last supper.

It was not literally his flesh and blood if, but symbolic, which is not a problem as long as the message and purposes is held to.

We do not have shadows and types today. We have the real thing, God in our spirits.

I studied her and her associates.

Pure cult.
hmmm....what did you find that was objectionable? 'pure cult' is strong language; it is hardly in line with the reality.
annnnd, did you read what she wrote? I ask this because the larger majority of folk who run her down are parroting what they have heard from those who have a chip on their shoulder but they have never read her themselves. Would you fall into that category?

Pure cult.
To what purpose did you do your study? To what end? What was your motive? Did you make your judgement on the basis of what your read of her works, or on the basis of what others said of her works? And what particular works of hers did you find so cultist, and why?
