It didn't help your mainline denominations...did it?

I don't agree with any church 100%. But you can walk into any mainline creedal church and hold them accountable if they stray from their guidelines. You cannot do that in churches that follow the latest trends.

You're the one who is running opposite from the Scriptures. The mainline denominations rely more on creeds than any other denominations. How warped is that?

But, as I said, it didn't help them. They went the way all things go. Away from that which was originally intended. Just like your are doing in denying the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

I know I can walk into any church with a creed and feel confident about what they teach staying on track. Many churches without creeds need warning labels like a pack of cigarettes to caution the naive.
