Silly, the last words show is it about sin, not gifts, meaning that even if someone is in ministry and had all gifs, and had faith to move mountains, but had not love, they were nothing, their willful sins of adultery and the like are not just overlooked because God somehow owes it to them. Like Luther who preached a scale of sins on one side, and love for God on the other. As long as the love for God was more, it didn't matter how many sins were on the other side, no amount of sins would separate you from God. WRONG! And this verse proves it. You somehow, believe the gifts weren't legitimate and that's why Jesus never knew them. Doesn't say that. It was wickedness, and in some translations lawlessness (1 John 3:4 sin is lawlessness.)
