I did a search on eternal generation of the Son, and looked at the first article.

Is the Eternal Generation of the Son a Biblical Idea?

In it, Keith Johnson even admits,

and, near the beginning of the article,
I said you'll find opposing views. But the truth will prevail. If you are among God's elect I have nothing to hide from you. You will know the truth regardless when you hear it. If you are reprobate, only lies will appeal to you.

“In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: But he that refraineth his lips is wise.” (Proverbs 10:19) (KJV 1900)
That would place every pastor that has given a long message to his congregation as wanting not for sin.

Of course I don't need to do any of that because I know what the Bible says on the matter.

But if you will do the search and give me a link to what you are talking about, then we can continue this discussion...
You need to read both sides of the issue before you can honestly discuss it.

No, because they usually know what they are talking about. Most read books....before they open their mouth.

Keith Johnson's article had him contending for the eternal generation of the Son; and he found no biblical evidence for it. I will take his word for it...unless you yourself know of a scripture somewhere that is a proof text for the eternal generation of the Son.

And yes, I am one of His elect as the result of a prayer of faith for the same...and I will not believe in extra-biblical lies as the result.

Books are the teachings of men...see Psalms 118:8-9.

The Bible is the inspired word of the Lord...I will go by it over and above the teachings of men any day of the week.

Of course, if what a man teaches is by and through the unction and anointing of the Holy Ghost, it will be evident in that what he says will not depart from the plain meaning of the text...and something like that is worth listening to/reading.

You cannot discern the truth about Christ in scripture, but fit the profile of having the spirit of Antichrist according to John. This is because you say the Father IS the Son, and thereby deny the Father AND the Son. Plus the similarities between Oneness and Islam place you outside of orthodox Christianity which is the only trinitarian religion in the world.

There you go again, misrepresenting me...I say that the Son is the Father, not that the Father is the Son.

You cannot even confess that Jesus is Lord in light of Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:21...therefore you do not have the Holy Ghost and are therefore not saved according to 1 Corinthians 12:3, Romans 8:9.

See Isaiah 54:17.

Allow me to reiterate my position. If you look up the scriptures referenced it will help you to better understand what I am saying.

God the Father is a Spirit (John 4:23-24). There is one Spirit (Ephesians 4:4).

The Spirit that dwelt in/ dwells in Jesus Christ is the Father (John 14:7-11).

Jesus released His Spirit back to the Father who inhabits eternity (Luke 23:46, Isaiah 57:15). God could not vacate eternity when He descended to become the Son; because that is the nature of eternity, that if someone dwells therein, they dwell therein eternally.

Try to think about what I am saying also in light of the scriptures that I am presenting to you.

If you follow through in the logic, you will see that the Holy Ghost is the Father bearing a different title and also carrying with Him the experiential knowledge of having been human in the Person of Jesus Christ.

I say Jesus is Lord (YAHWEH) which you cannot do. Because you don't think he existed before being born to Mary.

I was actually a Tritheist (thinking I was Trinitarian) for many years; until God opened my eyes to the reality of the matter, over a long period of reading my Bible with the doctrine of the Trinity on the backburner of my thinking.

Save yourself some time trying to untangle your misconceptions. And read the historic doctrine of the church on the matter. The Ecumenical Creeds are a good place to begin.

So you've struck out twice now. Don't give up. Keep knocking and it will be opened. Seek and you will find.

I know that He existed before being born to Mary...as the Father...and I will say to you unequivocably that Jesus is the Lord (YHWH); and do say it to you now.

You must consider that there is one Lord (Ephesians 4:5, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Mark 12:29 (kjv)).

That Lord is the Father according to Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:21. But you do not see it because you are wise and prudent; and will not look up the scriptures referenced.

I say to you unequivocably that Jesus is the Lord in light of what I have just presented.

Can you say it also?

Ecumenicism is not of the Lord; for the way to life is narrow (and few there be that find it).

What I meant to say is that I was like you...I thought I was a Trinitarian until I realized that my Trinitarianism was Tritheism.

Now I understand the Oneness of the Lord and also do not deny that He is three.

But your interpretation of the three is from a oneness view point and totally false.
