The Proof of Salvation

No where though is it suggested that Jesus, the Son of God, didn't die...lay down His life...the same life granted Him of the Father and that now resurrected, is willing to grant it to those who believe. What sacrifice was there from either the Father's or the Son's perspective, if Jesus didn't really die? What was the fuss in Gethsemane that Jesus sweat great drops of blood and nearly died just thinking about it? Was it not separation from His Father...the same father He had known from eternity? How can separation from the only source of life, not result in death?

id like to suggest a different Q, that being "what sacrifice is there from either one of their perspectives if they are In fact God, to Whom mortal death is completely irrelevant?" Which might serve to illustrate that it is humans who look for a "sacrifice" to appease a capricious and vengeful god, so it is a "sacrifice" that we are able to find as long as that is what we need.

But there is another legend that anyone might also find, whenever they are ready; Jews wanted to hurl scapegoats over cliffs, too, see, and we have a story about ppl wanting to do the same to Joshua, Whom we all call "Jesus" now. So believe that Jesus died for your sins in the manner we are all taught as long as you need to, no prob; no Son of Man may die for another's sins is not going anywhere, at least in the original, and neither is I desire mercy, not sacrifice

The problem is SDA have teachings & interpretations of scripture-- that are outside of what the Bible states , that came from Ellen White so there's the problem.

So you say, but I did not accuse you of heckling ok, and I am not now. You obviously feel you have a point to make there, and if *ppl who live in glass houses should not throw stones does not relate to whoever is without sin, let him cast the first stone in some essential way then I am open to hearing it.

Otherwise, perhaps a witness will show up, and maybe correct us both, huh?

And what of your incorrect and not scriptural thoughts about God? You do know you have some errors, right?

Its fine to talk about errors we see in others, but we have to realize that, honestly, we are all in some error.

It's not about "errors" it's about that --Ellen white is not a prophet sent from God any more then Jim Jones was. Study SDA in depth and then get back to us & perhaps you can start a thread on SDA.

And fwiw we had a discussion on this subject, a reveal really, that you might go find, on the nature of informing ppl that they are being put on ignore here, if any keywords come to mind I'll post them, "ignore button" maybe, I dunno.

But don't imagine that that will negate the testimony of any witnesses ok, nor the verdict given by the jury.
