So now you're claiming spiritual is not literal.

You are wrong again.
No, it is your assumption that is wrong. Not only wrong, but upside down and backwards.

What you consider "literal" is a mere "creation", an "image" a "likeness", "vanity" (meaning "nothing"), while the only actual "literal" reality is spiritual, because "God is spirit." How is it that you have all this information from God...and you still don't understand?

I do understand. You do not.

58 years of study gives a lot of time to study, review and refine.

This is you refusing the spiritual unseen word. Very personal indeed.

No, Actually, Scott, this is me refusing to hear your words over God's Word. You don't believe the prophecies the way they were given, and you hold yourself as authority over them to make them say what they do not say.

All you have to offer for support is that you have a divine revelation that they mean not what they say, but what you say.

And that is what I'm not going along with.

Any understanding of God that does not come from the words of the Bible, well, enough said.

For all the times I've asked for the Scriptural evidence, you offer none, only that "the words are spiritual, and I understand them."

You apparently don't believe prophecy is to be literally fulfilled, and I'm thinking you don't believe the Bible to be literally true, but that is all some sort of allegory that you would be happy to explain to us.

But I think I'll just keep reading the Bible, thank you!

Much love!

I only mentioned that when people tell me I need to study or I don't know what I'm talking about.

It is not bragging, but a rebuttal.

The apostoles used similar arguments to rebut accusations against them.

Too me when things are overly spiritualized it creates a fog . In your post it's an Ironic use of the word "literal reality" , reality = real world ( speaking of upside down and backwards) since you like to spiritualize all the teachings in the Bible, thinking because the Bible says , "God is Spirit" for eg. that it's then, always speaking of other worldly , ephemeral things, rather, then applying proper hermeneutics to understand some text is describing physical events, some text is used figuratively or , metaphorically , while other some terms are describing actual literal , factual physical meanings, events or things . I think anyone misses the boat when they cannot differentiate between the two usages of language in the Bible ie /figurative/metaphorical and literal physical reality.
Btw, saying someone is full of pride if they state they have been studying for 58 yrs sounds like just trying to knock them down. How would you know by that statement of fact, whether they are full of pride?

You are describing yourself as falling into the pattern of those who killed the prophets. What I have presented is not without scriptural precedence, of which I have quoted much, and it is exactly the method by which God brings about the next revelation in sequence. But, hey, go ahead and keep the pattern going. Say hello to those who are now gnashing their teeth. Or...as Jesus said to his slumbering followers, "Rise, let us be going!"

Just doing my part.

Your choice.

God is spirit. "Overly spiritualizied fog", is like saying "too much God"...which is not the right reaction for one born of God.

Fail.

Thanks for your honest testimony.

No ScottA You are the only one doing the Evil comparing, under the pretense that they were doing it themselves? No, that was all you, and that veiled insult wasn't very spiritual now was it? Comparing me or anyone who disagrees with your, to whom the Bible describes as evil and wicked who opposed God is called speaking evil of someone. Doing this kind of comparison with those who killed the prophets or Jesus is about as nasty an ad hominem attack as you can get, and your proclivity for nasty insults is evident by your posts.
"Doing your part? well , "your part" seems to be to bear false witness against Christians that disagree with your personal complete spiritualizing of the Bible.

Jesus did the same. But, really, you're too kind - Jesus really? I think I'm going to blush!

You are comparing those who disagree with you with those who killed the prophets & who killed Jesus. That was your insult. Yes, you should be embarrassed.

A spirit , but not the Holy Spirit.
Oh...now you who make the same accusations made against Christ, are some kind of expert. Yeah, right! That's a good one - oh, yer killing me!
