Philippians is a good Epistle to read when going through trials and suffering.
We're actually going through Philippians in small group right now.
I was thinking earlier of just copying it into a word doc and start studying through it fresh.

At least we can hang on to the verse about 'the trial of our faith being more precious than gold...' ....Gold, tried by fire... At least it has a purpose for us. And - "I have prayed for thee that thy faith faileth not.."
I hate trials ( mine are bodily right now) I don't find myself in Romans 5 -
" we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope..."
Neither do I often James 1 either..." count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh endurance."
Sometime I remember, but often I fail the JOY test!! lol

On the brighter side, my wife started in her new classroom yesterday, we had been prepared for hell on earth, which is typical, but God in mercy gave relief, it seems, and she may have a decent class and teacher this year! Time will tell. She's an Special Ed Aide.
