Delilah asks Samson how he could possibly love her if he doesn't trust her. This seems to be a logical fallacy in that one can love someone without actually trusting them. A parent may love their children, and yet know that they can't be trusted. So they make sure that the liquor cabinet is locked, and the keys safely hidden, etc.

We have the same scenario being played out today with regards to the LGBQ community playing the role of Delilah to the Christian's Samson. Christianity professes to love the sinner, but hate the sin. The LGBQ community loathes and despises Christianity and is hell bent on destroying Christianity as soon as possible. They are undoubtedly going to prevail because just like Samson, the churches have lost their way.

Paul makes it pretty clear that he has nothing to do to judge the world without, why would I?

I wasn't suggesting one needs to judge the world without, except insofar as they're fooling us into thinking they just want to be loved and trusted. They can't be trusted, and the church has lost her way by playing their game.

The church has no defense against prohibiting the LGBTQ etc. people from waltzing into their churches and requesting that they marry them. The Catholic church seems incapable of even noticing when the "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" approach the alter for communion.

Anyone who loses their way with God is not walking with God! What is necessary is to be one of His sheep hearing His voice and following Him. Anyone who does not do that is going to lose their way if they are not already lost!

"To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice." John 10:3-4

The "churches" may well as groups lose their way, but individuals in any group may still get on and stay of His highway of holiness. It is those who do that are or are to be, part of the Body of Christ [the Church] when it is connected to and subject to the Head which is Jesus.

Do you believe in the book of Revelation? If so, do you believe most of it (from chapter 5 or 6 onward) is future from today?

I ask because within that book, this world will be publicly ruled by the beast and satan. And the beast and satan are behind the LGBTQ cause, so undoubtedly it will be normal here on Earth during the timeframe of most of Revelation.

Therefore, we know it/they will be given this world, albeit temporarily, until Jesus returns to judge and wage war in chapter 19.

Furthermore, Jesus had some views of this world, and how Christians are not to love it:
-James 4:4 "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."
-1 John 2:15-17 " 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."
-John 15:19 "If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you."
-1 John 4:5 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them.
-1 John 5:19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.
-John 18:36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

From what you've posted so far, it would appear that you believe the beast and Satan aren't ruling the world yet. Where do you get this idea from? Perhaps I should ask you where in the world around you do you get this idea from?

And the beast and satan are behind the LGBTQ cause, so undoubtedly it will be normal here on Earth during the timeframe of most of Revelation.

Normal has nothing to do with it. When the world is ruled by Satan, the norm is evil, regardless of how what new or novel ways it is manifested.

Therefore, we know it/they will be given this world, albeit temporarily, until Jesus returns to judge and wage war in chapter 19.

Will be given this world? Who is going to give it to them? The mystery of iniquity was working when Paul wrote his letters. When did that all change? The whole world has always been deceived.

-John 18:36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

And you can bet your life, his servants will never fight God's will. This is the kingdom that fights. This isn't Christ's kingdom. I saw a billboard the other day. It said: "The Fighting Spirit". Any guesses what the billboard was advertising? I can guarantee you it wasn't an ad for God's kingdom.

Basic fallacy in your title.

Christians have always flirted with the world and with worldly attitudes and we all make compromises.
But just because some Christians compromise more than others does not mean that All have compromised or that all are unaware of their compromise.

Christians will always have spoiled testimonies due to sin yet God still uses us failed witnesses to evangelise.

While heaven and earth remain there will be a Christian witness in the world.

The key there is when I said "publicly", meaning out in the open. Satan does rule his eartly kingdom, no argument there. But it's not public, yet, like it will be per the book of Revelation.

Normal has nothing to do with it. When the world is ruled by Satan, the norm is evil, regardless of how what new or novel ways it is manifested.

Normal for them, not normal as you and I view "normal".

Will be given this world? Who is going to give it to them? The mystery of iniquity was working when Paul wrote his letters. When did that all change? The whole world has always been deceived.

Yes, will be given this world, publicly. By God of course; only He can give (and take).

Jesus Christ will fight against the beast/satan, per Revelation chapter 19, and will win, paving the way for the millenium kingdom, and His rule for eternity.

Basic fallacy in your title.

Given that there is no such fallacy as the "basic fallacy", the title and content of the OP is still valid.

Christians have always flirted with the world and with worldly attitudes and we all make compromises.

Christians will always have spoiled testimonies due to sin yet God still uses us failed witnesses to evangelise.

You just claimed that all Christians compromise, then immediately contradicted yourself by claiming that it "does not mean that All have compromised". When your witness fails, there can be no evangelization. How can one bear witness to what they never saw to begin with?

You're not addressing my question. If Satan isn't publicly ruling his earthly kingdom out in the open, then what makes you so sure he's ruling at all?

Yes, will be given this world, publicly. By God of course; only He can give (and take).

So now you're saying God will give this world to Satan, then take it back from him? What's the point? Satan was given this world probably before Adam sinned. At the very least when Adam sinned. He rules from his diminished position causing those in positions of authority to rule just as he would.

Do you believe it’s Gods approval they seek?
Answer the question. Are you truly waiting on him? If so, what's the answer? What do you say to the LGBTQ couple who wants to get married in your church? How do you defend the church from their abominations? Present your case if you think you have one. If not, then you will be joining in as they celebrate their evil union.

I don’t have a “church”. I don’t fellowship with nonsense.

I'm not asking you if you have a church. I'm asking you for a defense of your faith. Peter instructs us to have a defense for one's faith. Evidently, you don't have a defense for your faith either. This is literally "The Church Forum". A forum for one to do exactly that. Do you know WHY it is wrong for gay couples to pretend that they're married? Do you have a defense for your faith, or not? If so, present it. If not, why not?

I’m not compelled to please you, but God !
Since you insist on knowing why this is wrong, it’s wrong because it’s a mockery of Christ and his bride the church. They seek to please themselves, not God

You're not addressing my question. If Satan isn't publicly ruling his earthly kingdom out in the open, then what makes you so sure he's ruling at all?

The Bible makes me sure satan is ruling. I posted scripture above to prove it. 1 John 5:19 "We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one."

At this point in time, one cannot go to where satan has his throne here on earth. If you know where he sits upon a throne, here on earth, please share that information with me.

So now you're saying God will give this world to Satan, then take it back from him? What's the point? Satan was given this world probably before Adam sinned. At the very least when Adam sinned. He rules from his diminished position causing those in positions of authority to rule just as he would.

I stated that satan already rules this earth, based upon scripture. I'm saying God will allow satan to rule publicly, in full view of earth-dwellers, during the events of the book of Revelation.

And yes, Jesus will then come to destroy satan and his followers, which occurs towards the end of the book of Revelation - Revelation chapter 19 to be specific.

What's the point? The point, as I understand it (and I could be wrong of course), it a final line in the sand to determine who is with God and who is with satan. That "final line in the sand" is the "mark of the beat" - anyone who takes satan's mark, is with satan. All who do not take satan's mark, will be killed by satan and his forces, and are with God (being martyred for God).

Only those who have taken satan's mark will live on the earth, from the time period that the mark must be taken (Revelation chapter 13) until Jesus' second coming in Revelation chapter 19 which will destroy all those with satan's mark, and satan being thrown into the bottomless pit.

I agree with you that satan rules earth now via human vessels. It was Adam disobeying God that gave the earth to satan. I don't argue that. The events in Revelation, will have him ruling in full view, with a throne in the third temple in Jerusalem, claiming to be God.

Simple Satan sits on the throne of the heart of those that don’t know Christ. That’s where his throne has always been.
