"Willie T,
I'm afraid not. All that kind of stuff is simply replacing one set of rules (Jewish) with another set of rules (you name it).
I am not sure you understand what I posted.
We are not lawless.
psalm119;
119 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.

2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

We are under Kingdom commands for the rest of our lives.

David Taylor,

I notice you keep making these big claims about Calvinism but haven't even said what the evil is. Clearly you don't know what you are talking about.
Correct. Making negative comments about the truth delays the obedience of Faith.

Why not try one scripture and see what you can do?
Then we can see who is lacking and needs to learn, instead of baseless accusations.

One scripture is what has gotten him into misinterpretation. One scripture can be easily explained if read in context with about 20 verses before and behind the "one scripture." I showed him that in Romans 7 with his section describing those still under the law without the Spirit, and he rejected it, preferring to believe Christians will sin after salvation, but that is without the Spirit. Does the Spirit lead us into sin?

He does not prefer to keep on topic and discuss the scripture to learn. He just comes back with "this is ridiculous" and closes his mind to the truth. He doesn't want to learn.

No, but apparently according to you it leads us to slander and degrade the name of others, which is completely against Ephesians 4:29

So... the Spirit, in your opinion, leads us to transgress the Word of God? Seeing as though you claim you have this sinless spirit.

I tell the truth, so you can repent and be filled with the Holy Spirit. That is not hate, but love and not slander.

But to say that I am stupid? How does that EDIFY! You could tell me I'm wrong without saying I'm stupid. Are there not more edifying ways of showing someone their error?

Yes, I could call you ignorant, as Paul would have. He doesn't mean that he doesn't teach those who haven't learned, but to those who refuse to learn and are stubborn in their mindset, that is just plain st.., ah, I mean ignorant.

Watch out; don't make another mistake. It's bad enough you've already etched ONE in black and white, where it can never be erased. We wouldn't want to embarrass your perfection any more than that!

Sometimes maybe even though we or a Mod may not like doing it.... perhaps it is going to take someone who holds the power of "The Button" to step in and start issuing some "timeouts" for relatively minor kinds of infractions. A gentle mention to try and keep our conversations "civil" could be a first-step..... followed by a week locked-out, at first.... then maybe two weeks off.... then a month, etc.

You don't always have to either ignore certain behaviors, or else permanently BAN someone. A lot of people actually DO learn when given some stiff "reminders" when they get too carried away.

If you read your Bible as much as you did memes, maybe you wouldn't feel the need to rage so much!

Look, I'm all for debate; but this is ridiculous. When someone takes the time to try and present biblical evidence and all you do is post Hate-memes, it shows your regard for the word compared to your regard for your opinions

Don't you remember, or wasn't it you, I said I am not perfect. I said I trespassed against you and hurt your feelings. Please forgive me. I should have used the word stubborn, even over ignorant, because that is the bottom line of what is our difference. I am thirsty to learn what God's word means and am open to new revelations to grow in knowledge from the Spirit of Truth. But Calvinists believe they already know it all and if they learned even one contradiction to what they believe, their whole belief system would crash, so they hold on to the false with a tight grip.

Although the memes make me laugh...Mjh29 DOES have a point.

So... how are you imperfect yet sinless? Sin is what corrupts. And any transgression is a transgression against God... which is a sin.

I personally think the word, IGNORANT is one that we, ourselves, should take the initiative to never use...… especially the way we ALL know we use it to insult others.

I'm not saying I'm always right; I'm not even trying to convince anyone of anything! All I ask is that I am allowed to present Biblical evidence, and you can tell me where my interpretation is wrong.

You don't see me, just because I disagree, posting memes about another belief system [I'll post the occasional meme for enjoyment and a good laugh to clear the air a bit, but never hate memes!]

You underestimate me, you underestimate me greatly. I know the Bible backward and forward and better than that I understand it and many other things. You keep talking about scriptures, I am smart enough not to play your game. People have been twisting scriptures for centuries to support cultic beliefs, in your case more horrid than cult. This is nothing new. The Calvinists, the Jehovah's Witnesses, Branch Davidians, Jim Jones, Heaven Gate, you can go all the way back to Gnosticism. It is an old game, a cultic scam. You think people are not on to you. You are delusional. Game over!
