It's been lovely and sunny today but very cold - by Brit standards anyway - 5C.

We are n a busy road and cats are not allowed to wander free any more.

I agree, while I do like cats...we have always been dog lovers...mostly German Shepherds ...but we also had a Basset Hound once..and now we have a Lab. The top of the list, and most clever , for us is always the Shepherds every time.

We had a few dogs, while the children were growing up...... Liked them all......

Now living with my son and family........ wife and 8 children, they have a german shepherd out side
and one in the house...... They are nice dogs.

And there are a couple of cats, that keep coming on our deck and my daughter inlaw feeds them
no one really likes them......... but we have no mice , because of them....

Our snow is all melted! We had a foot of snow...... the temp. got up in the 40s........ so that did it.

Ours had gone up tonight too...the wind has dropped.
Snow is laying around, but no longer snowing. Glad about that. :)

My daughter and I went for a walk in the park across the road yesterday; it was very cold but such a glorious day. It's ok though if you wrap up warm. It's the same today but I stayed in.

I used to so enjoy walking my kids to school on a cold and frosty morning ..and when the breath looks like smoke when we breath.

I remember the fun of sliding on frozen puddles in the play ground at school. Never see that much over here through ..we don't get many of those kind of day . Good memories.
