Our cabin in the mountains that we hardly ever get to go to.The answer to that has to be...Because one of my daughters lives here 5 mins away...and my two married grandchildren are very close to here :)

A small village called 'Waterton on the Lake' In my younger days we wold go ( 4 hours drive) every year at least once.
The deer roam the streets...the restaurants and cafes are lovely.
Hotels very good ( we tried all of them)...and the waterfall close to the village we'd go to every day before breakfast , and just stand there and gaze at the early sun glistening on the fall and making rainbows in the air... heavenly.
In England ..the best place I ever went was The Great Dixter.
I wish my ashes could be scattered there.
But any river here will do. :)

Oh dearMy kids say I was a shouter. My youngest reminds me that I used to shout " If you kids don't stop arguing I will come over there and bang your heads together." But thankfully that laugh at it now.
