101G,(To Earburner- from titled thread-"Revelation 11- the measure of the temple")
1. ANOTHER ERROR on your Part. Daniel 12:2 "And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
2. now this, Revelation 20:5 " But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Revelation 20:6 "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
3. Revelation 20:7 "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison"
4. one more, 1 Thessalonians 4:16 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
5. Earburner this is basic bible which everone should know... I see it's not so.
6. ok understand, when he said the "REST" of the dead did not LIVE until the thousand years were finished, if not resurrected, then please tell us how the rest of the dead "LIVED?".
your answer please.
PICJAG.
I have informed you earlier, that the book of Daniel was for the people of Israel, AS THE book of Revelation, is now for the church of Christ. At the moment, you are not hearing what I am saying.
However, the differences in our understanding, is due to the fact that I am teaching the Amillennial view.
Earburner's reply to "101G":
1. In Dan. 12:2, the angel is speaking about the people of Daniel: "thy people", during the time when Israel once was the KoG on this present earth
Please notice that the angel in Dan. 12, does not say that all (thy people) shall awake, but rather only "many", which is to say that they who are not of that many, did not awake, but rather remain dead in their graves.
We see that prophecy fulfilled in Mat. 27
[ 50 ] Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
[ 51 ] And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
[ 52 ] And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
[ 53 ] And came out of the graves after his resurrection , and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
The "many of them (thy people)" that are mentioned in Dan. 12, are the "some", who died in faith believing of the Messiah to come, but had died before the time that Jesus did come, and were awakened (resurrected) in Christ's Resurrection, Who himself is "the First Resurrection".
2. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the [symbolic] thousand years [of God's Age of Grace] were finished.
"The first resurrection", who is Jesus, involves:
A. The many of the OT Saints who slept, "arose" in the first resurrection, being that of Jesus.
B. All the Saints, since Pentecost, who have recieved the Gift of His Holy Spirit, is the SEAL OF PROMISE, assuring us that we are spiritually "risen with Christ", and also shall be resurrected bodily.
We, the church of God's Age of Grace, are the very people, who are the rest of the dead, who will not live again, until the symbolic thousand years of God's Age of Grace are finished.
3. Q. What shall come to pass, that shall reveal that the Age of God's Grace (symbolic 1000 years) will have become "finished"?
A. It is now being revealed, that many people are proving to be void of simple faith in God, "to believe that God is". Most people now believe in "Evolutionism", being opposed to "Creationism".
In the 1800s two major developments took place, the "increase of knowledge", for technical wonders, and "the Great Awakening", giving the rise to many false prophets and false teachers, causing many to "fall away". 2 Thessalonians 2:3.
1 Timothy 4 [ 1 ] Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter time s some shall depart from *the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
(*note- "the common faith"- Titus 1:4)
Simply put: before the Lord can or shall return in all His Glory, in flaming fire, " that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first,...", of which we are now in!
2 Thessalonians 2:3
4. Yes! "The rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years (of God's Age of Grace) are finished.
5. On the contrary, it appears that you may be the one who is lacking!
6. I have explained it in the above.
