Missionaries need to be sent to Canada, and Australia.
I am noticing they seem to be infected and overwhelmed by false teaching WOF heretics with the result being weak ,ungrounded professed believers who go to any lengths to distance themselves from truth.

This exaltation of an angry vengeful judgemental God constantly discourages people from searching for Him. But coming from staunch Calvinists who believe that God decided a long time ago who He wanted to save, with the rest destined to judgement
Your words lack biblical truth and faith:
John 6:37-39
All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.
For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me.
And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day.

The God you feel to be angry will accomplish all his will in spite of your diatribe of futility.

I suspect that the poster has already viewed the video's, cannot find a loophole. Now want to deflect and hide till it goes by and they continue to promote false teachers as valid.
It blows my mind this laxity and apathy toward false teachers. They make them feel good about their god: themselves! Note 2 Timothy 3.

The other thing? Hey, type out a summary for me. I'll wait...:D:eek:

It isn't me who is promoting an angry vengeful God. It is the theme of the entire thread against which I wholesale reject. Your God of power and fear, being promoted by your friends, is not an attractive God that sinners will run to for help and salvation. It reminds me of the Catholic God who is unapproachable; a God who needs intermediaries such as Mary and various Saints to approach Him on our behalf because he won't accept us or our prayers. Your angry bitter cartoon character of a God is a total contradiction to every parable that Jesus related regarding the character of His Father.. Jesus came to reveal the Father. He didn't portray the Father as judgemental or a God desiring to attract people to Him out of fear of being executed. He is not a come to me or else type of God. He is a come to me and live God. He is a compassionate loving gracious merciful God not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
Yes, there is a judgement that awaits sinners. But I would rather evangelize offering the judgement that is awarded on behalf of the Saints. I would rather evangelize offering mercy, not judgement. Grace, not distance. Love, not fear.
The only time Jesus pronounced judgement was when dealing with self righteous hypocritical religious bigots. I shall stop there.

When we witness to ppl, we need to proclaim His whole counsel. Nowhere in the Acts of the Apostles did they tell ppl “God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.” When they witnessed to them, it was that they were sinners in need of saving. When the Philippians jailer came to Paul and Silas and asked what he must do to be saved, Paul’s response wasn’t God loves him and has a wonderful plan for him, but to believe. Peter, in his sermon in Acts 2 tells them how they were responsible for their sins, that they by their wicked hands, had crucified the Christ. He didn’t sugarcoat it, but told them plainly. When asked what shall they do, he said repent and be baptized.

I will leave you with a great quote from the late Dr. R.C. Sproul...“A god who is all love, all grace, all mercy, no sovereignty, no justice, no holiness, and no wrath is an idol.”

You can’t just focus on one attribute of God and leave the others in the dust my friend.

GOD poured out his own WRATH on HIS SON!!

Voddie Baucham.."Our culture, Jesus just wants a friendship and relationship with you....you are breaking his heart. NO, HE IS GONNA BREAK YOU!"

Revelations 19: 11-16
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written,
KING OF KINGS, AND Lord OF LORDS.

Voddie Baucham, "God doesn't need you. When you die, the world is gonna keep on spinning and SOMEBODY is gonna get ALL YOUR STUFF!" (family included)

..............10 min sermon, very powerful and humbling message

The Lord Jesus Christ ONLY, is Worthy of all our Praise and Worship!
Eternity is a Very long Time!
Satan Loves Distractions and Wants Christians To Just Die!!
It definitely takes a brave man to die for another man, but the way he knew he would die takes unthinkable bravery.

Nobody would volunteer for that.

Keep him in your prayers, he's a Jehovahs Witness yet doesn't understand Christ is in fact YHWH. In other words he worships a false, created being they call Jesus. Only God can open his eyes.

Don’t they claim the Christ is a half-brother to Lucifer?

That's the Mormon cult.
They’re on here, too, right?
Of course, it's "Christianity" board so as long as you say you believe in Jesus, no matter who he is, you're "a Christian." "Don't judge!"
Actually: LDS Christians don't believe that there's any special relationship between Christ and Lucifer that doesn't apply also to every other person.

Judging on bad information doesn't make any sense.

You can think whatever you want. But make that call on GOOD information which is actually ACCURATE. Disagreeing with a viewpoint no-one actually holds does't make any sense.
Jane,
I talked hormone on Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Ohio, Georgia and Long Island.....you are not posting consistent with what they teach

I agree. I don't often see scriptures such as this from you fellas...
KJV Jeremiah 29
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

KJV Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Back up one verse “For thus says the LORD, ‘When seventy years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to bring you back to this place." Many of these exiles of whom God was speaking to through Jeremiah would be dead by the time those 70 years were up. Then He goes on to say through Jeremiah "Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.’"[Jeremiah 29:12-14] It is after these 70 years of captivity have expired that verse 11 will come to its fruition.
