Christ did not do so. Christ came as a lamb. He was sacrificed as a lamb. He loved and sat with some many people others just deemed sinners.

You and I have had some very extensive debates concerning the LDS church, and I have been pretty forthright about what I have said about it at times. Was I being disrespectful to you or acidic in my remarks, or was I giving clear, blunt views at times?

When I said "rat poison", I was referring to prayers to Mary, the pagan Queen of Heaven, worshiping statues which is idolatry, and the pagan Mass which sacrifices Christ over and again everytime one is said.

I would say the same, as already said by a good preacher, that the prosperity, guaranteed healing, and the pagan Hindu mind-control "naming and claiming" doctrines are the "rat poison" embedded in the otherwise good doctrines the false teachers teach.

It is the false doctrines that are the killer rat poison, not those who sadly are deluded by them.

Jesus did not treat the hypocritical Pharisees with "love" at all. If anyone treated a religious leader the way that Jesus did, they would be accused of hate speech!

We are to thoroughly and bluntly oppose false doctrines of demons, but lovingly but clearly warn those who are deceived by them. It would be a lack of love not to warn the people who believe these false doctrines that they are compromising their faith and are in serious danger of the judgment. We should warn them in such a way that they will experience fear. Fear is our friend that warns us of danger. Fear is what causes a person too close to the edge of a cliff to step back in a hurry!

This is why we have to warn those who are deceived by demons, to step away from these doctrines in a hurry!

"flame" is a man-made false acronym or accusation used by the wicked, not by the righteous.
"abuse" is a man-made politically correct word, not used by God at all the same way, nor by His people.

I am not Catholic. I have major problems with some Catholic beliefs (such a literal Lord's Supper, Marian practices, etc).
I am also not your particular brand of Christianity. I have major problems with some of your beliefs.

what happened to them in Scripture ? They were exposed, although not 'harmed' by the true believers and apostles.

So, if you saw a man on his second floor balcony having his breakfast coffee and toast, and there was a fire raging in his basement, would you stand there and warn him in a still small voice? I guess not!!! You would yell for all your worth, "You house is on fire! Get out of there!!!!"

In other words - what church or denomination do you belong to.

Just curious because MOST of the anti-Catholics here are afraid to admit which sect they belong to.

Anti-Catholics are afraid of being attacked by other Protestants because they can't agree on anything. So they keep their denominational identity in the shadows.

Paul was not backward in coming forward to name and shame those who were opposed to the gospel of Christ and who were corrupting the faith of believers. And John was going to visit a church and deal decisively with the guy who was taking the preeminence and bullying members, throwing them out of the church because they supported John's ministry. He was going there with a big stick and not with a lovey dovey heart toward him!
