The law's function is to reveal our sin and is our tutor to lead us to Christ. Once we have put our trust in Christ the law has fulfilled it's role and no longer has any crucial role in our salvation. But once saved, we forsake the works of the flesh and order out subsequent conduct according to God's moral law so we are not seen by the world as hypocrites.
You obviously didn’t read my other post, I see redemption as coming before the Law, in your response you are placing the law first by saying ‘ the law leads us to Christ ‘...... so I personally am starting from a different prospective.

Luk 17:7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
Luk 17:8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
Luk 17:9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
Luk 17:10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

men love to boast
Not of works, lest anyone should boast

This passage here says it all.

It is our job, We should not expect anything in return, because what we earn is hellfire

I see. So if I stole ten cents, but donated $10,000 to charity, I will be judged solely on the ten cents I stole. Boy, I'm sure glad I won't be judged by
your unjust and stupid God!!
so God should just let you get away with the sin of Stealing, which is breaking one of the ten commandments, just because you gave ten thousand to charity.

I thank God I follow righteous and just God, who can not be bought off, But punishes sin for what it is, Sin!

The penalty of sin is death, For steeling that ten cents, You owe God death, that was your judgment pronounced by God himself. God does not let you off the hook because you tried to buy him off

Shame on you!

If a believer is not bound by any laws, how did Judas end up in Hell?
Same reason everyone else who ends up in hell gets there

because judas rejected Christ.

John 3: 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Remember Judas was called out with the unbelievers, as one who would betray him

John 6: 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him

What happens if a believer gives in to every temptation and sins? Is he still saved? If so, what is the point of repenting and forsaking the works of the flash, etc?

Can a married believer commit adultery with a hundreds of mistresses and still be saved, for example? Can a homosexual believer who spends a life-time having "sex" with other men be saved?
you really need to study the bible more

Can a believer give into EVERY temptation and sin?

The bible says no

1 John 3:
7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

Why does Jesus tell certain believers in Matt 7:21-23, "I never knew you" and condemn them to Hell for their "lawlessness"?
People who are trying to earn their salvation by their works.

Notice the people and how they pleaded. They pleaded and use their works they did in Jesus name as their argument for why Jesus shoudl let them in.

What did Jesus tell them?

Their works count for nothing, The died in unbelief, And because of it, Even their seemingly good works they boasted which they thought would save them, were works of unrighteousness and sin.

You should take heed and warning, this may be you

I have been looking at Abraham over the last few days, but you do realise that he was saved through grace and faith in what God was relaying to him about Jesus, long before the law was given.
The people of Israel, those who were enslaved, were redeemed FIRST , the law came later ......
The law did not save them
The law did not redeem them
The relationship between them and The Lord already existed before the law was given.......

What I found interesting we’re Ismael and Isaac
Tow pictures of salvation .......
Ismael was born according to the flesh , the result of human reasoning , sinful effort, mans way ( best human effort/ reasoning ) Helping God and presuming he cant do it without us.

Isaac- The result of Gods promise , trusting God in his promise alone , mans helplessness reaching out for divine help .........

The Israelites were brought into a relationship with God, which they were to respond to out of gratitude - the law was an expression of that act, the law doesn’t have any power to save. The law was given to them later as guidelines on how to protect themselves - it’s relevant and valid, but if you place the law higher than redemption then you are choosing to be an Ismael rather than an Isaac !!!

Just some thoughts from a study I was doing yesterday .........
Rita
this post deserves much more than just a Like. Lovely post. AMEN!

Isaac was born not of the will or power of man, But by God only.

Another great example is the serpent on the pole. Where people who trusted Gods word in faith looked UP to the serpent hanging on a tree. and were saved, the people who continued to try to save themseves perished, even if they believed they could be saved, and started by looking up, but in unbelief stopped looking in faith and started working.

so many OT examples of salvation by faith apart from any works of righteousness we have done, but by Gods mercy based on something GOD did.

You will be judged for being a thief, just like in any court of law, and you will be sentenced for theft, regardless of how much you give to charity. Would you call a criminal court judge for convicting and sentencing the thief? I guess not, especially if you were the victim of the theft. I saw people convicted of theft in our District Court for stealing a loaf of bread from the local dairy! Just one violation of the Ten Commandments means you have broken the whole law and have to pay the just penalty. I like to see you call a District Court judge unjust and stupid! You'd end up behind bars for contempt of court! Is God's justice any less than that?

And calling our God of justice unjust and stupid is actually blasphemy and you will be judged for that as well.
you gotta love how they claim we excuse our sin, When they prove over and over who is really excusing their own sin,

Bad analogy - a human court judges only one crime in a person's life. A human court does not judge a person's entire life and whether or not that person is worthy of salvation.

On the other hand,
God will judge a person's entire life and decide their eternal fate.

... except I didn't do that - I called your idea of God unjust and stupid. So glad you won't be judging me on the Last Day!

If a person says he is a Christian and continues in willful sin of any kind, he is nothing more than a hypocrite.
In that case, you and every other believer is a hypocrite, because all believers sin.
There is a difference between struggling with temptation through the weakness of the flesh, and deliberately and knowingly breaking the Ten Commandments when able not to.
You seem to be contradicting yourself - if you know something is sinful but sin anyway, out of weakness, that is the same as knowingly breaking the commandment, is it not?

I don't recall saying God will "let you get away with the sin of stealing".

Furthermore, it's odd that you say God will not let you get away with stealing ten cents, but at the same time claim that the blood of Christ will cover every and any sin you will ever commit!

so according to the religious we are all doomed and Christ died for nothing... woe is mankind, the religious have condemned us all to death.. faith in Christ and His works to be discarded, and we must all be perfect little children... woe is us

Good thing religion wont save us we surely would be doomed.

You are being true to your theology that we will be judged on the balance between good and bad deeds and if the balance tips over to good deeds, God will forgive your bad deeds and let you into heaven.

Yep. That's the point. We sin and will be found guilty in the Judgment. Letting people off crimes against God because of some good deeds goes against natural justice, and makes God unjust. Are you going to share heaven with Adolf Hitler who slaughtered 20 million people, because he got the trains to run on time, built some wonderful buildings and designed great motorways in Germany, and show great kindness to children and animals?

According to your theology, if his good deeds, like being a great father, gave to the Red Cross, ran an animal rescue shelter, he will get off because his good deeds will outweigh his adultery, after all, he never raped the women, and in each case it took two to tango and both got move and pleasure out of their encounters.

The blood of Christ paid the debt, God did not let the debt go unpaid.

Its odd you think the blood of Christ can be replaced by you giving money to the poor.

Its your own eternal death. or the blood of Christ

those are the two options.

ALL sin will be judged and paid for. one way or the other. Your sacraments or penance have no part in the equation.

actually your wrong

God will judge every sin you ever committed. each one will be laid out in front of you and he will judge each oe

Each one carries with it the penalty of death

Of course only one is all that is required for eternal damnation. But just so you have no doubt of how much you deserve your just reward. he will go through every one. And for each one you will be required to make a payment

YOU BETTER hope that the payment offed to God is his sons death which He offered to redeem your very soul, If not. You will gat what you, what we all deserve.

Romans 8:1-2 King James Version (KJV)

8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Do you think you are free from the Law? How can you be free from the Law when you cannot stop Sinning?
well, you cant maybe, dunno, but i suggest that that is a bad frame anyway fwiw. Under the law almost every transgression requires blood right so imo stop requiring blood and start overlooking a matter, forgive and you will be forgiven iow maybe?
