Thank you for sharing Apak, will add them both to my prayer journal xx
I always take hope from the fact that I wasn’t seeking God when I was 23, he was seeking me - so Someone must have been praying for me somewhere xx
Rita

@Rita;

Reminds me of the words from 'The King of love my Shepherd is':

'Perverse and foolish oft I strayed,
But yet in love He sought me,
And on His shoulder gently laid,
And home rejoicing brought me.'

I too can say that if the Lord had not reached out to me, drawn me, I would never have come.

(John 6 has a lot to say along these lines also.)

My youngest had a break down some 7year ago, he suffers from agoraphobia - , he has a number of Christians friends on line that he talks to - both from the USA - and of course he has me !
God did give me words of prophecy regarding my family over ten years ago.........when his time is right, u TIL then I have held those words in my heart x
Rita
@Rita : good to know he is talking to various Christians on an ongoing basis; trusting that the influence of prayer and the Scriptures will draw him, by God's grace.

Lol, I was due to have my hair cut the week we went in to lockdown, we will all look like hippies at the end of the three months !
My work shoes decided to come apart that week as well, and I can’t order online as I have to try shoes on ( I am in between on sizes - then where we have been using chlorine at work, the colour has come out on the knees - so I have longer hair, broken shoes and old looking trousers - interesting look !! Lol
It is another beautiful summers day here, really warm - it won’t last as it usually gets really rainy when you get your nicer weather xx
Rita

:D How funny! I was thinking the same thing about the hair...Helen sent me a pic of Dave...he looks like an old hippy, hahaha! But, I guess he grows it out time to time.
Enjoy the weather while it lasts!

@Nancy I think when all this distancing is over, there will be long line-ups at many hairdressers working overtime to give ppl chops and side-cuts ready for the warm weather, after all the enforced scragginess lately...

@Rita : Do you think that when all the distancing ends eventually it will prove to be the catalyst for a lot of people to go for a different - and maybe shorter - hairstyle?

(Kind of like, one of the spin-offs from the restrictions and their eventual ending.)

No, I think everyone will desperately want their old styles back, a sign of some normality again xx

@Rita: Oh really? maybe so...

Seems like ppl haven't been able to have their hair cut professionally lately; and since lately the high trims over the ear and neck/nape have been getting very popular lately, it would seem, I wondered if ppl will eventually take the opportunity to do it, after all the enforced scragginess...

(We shall see, no doubt...)

@Nancy: Well, the sidecuts and napeshaves - high trims over the ears and neck - have in any case been seemingly getting very popular; I wonder if ppl will go for them again in large numbers in the summer, or if never tried before, try them for the first time.
