Read what Paul says about that in 1 and 2 Thessalonians. He clearly says that those who believe that Christ has returned already, are deceived. I agree with him.

So we go from prediction which may or may not help to pagan oracles. Not helping your case any. The issue I have with it, is that a human takes on the role of the Holy Spirit. I doubt very few people can be an Abraham Moses Elijah or any prophet. Humans today make great hypocrites just by nature.

The curse and punishment on those who try to be something they are not and lead the church astray, is far greater than one who pushes a bad interpretation. Because the hearer can also read and be lead by the Holy Spirit. A prophet can only rely on their own prophecy.

I guess one has to have extensive experience in the New Testament prophetic to really understand what it is really about.

I dont believe such miracles as raising the dead, tongues, miraculous healings (maybe on a personal level but not publicly) are being given as gifts since the early church and 12 apostles.

You should study the ministry of Smith Wigglesworth.....that man was a true man of faith.

I don't recognise New Age prediction or guidance as being part of New Testament prophecy. Those wouldn't be much different from reading horoscopes.

It is characteristic of demonic misuse of Scripture that it will quote a random verse or part-verse out of context, and it is the misquote half-verse in 1 Corinthians 13 that the lying demon has used to deceive godly people and Bible teachers, with the purpose of denying the full power and involvement of the Holy Spirit in the life of their churches.

Fail, cease, and pass away ...any other time in scripture is not something desired but that which remains. Debates going on right now on endure to the end and remain. Yet “fail, cease, and pass away” ...what does that say?

You should study the ministry of Smith Wigglesworth.....that man was a true man of faith.

In the late 1960s, I fellowshipped with Walter Cantrell, who was a member of the Wellington Assembly of God, and during the 1920s he was Smith Wigglesworth's pianist during Wigglesworth's New Zealand meetings. He told me of the many miracles that he personally witnessed during the meetings. Even 40 years later, his face shone when he told me of them and the intensity of the Holy Spirit in the meetings.

Consider “peace” Revelation 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

With John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

When Jesus returns He Himself will minister salvation to Israel. And the 2 witnesses who are sent will also testify of Christ's return.
God will send Angel's to bring messages to those who are still walking in darkness.
But let me say this....I don't believe in a pre-trib rapture....which is what you are implying.

He said what prevents, yeah? 2 Corinthians 3:14-18 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. [15] But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. [16] Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. I wasn't implying that at all. I'll post the question again does the Holy Spirit prevent/ leteth wicked from being revealed?
