It would be a LOT easier to put God first every waking second of your life if we actually had a real, face to face relationship with him.

That's an interesting thought, but God has something different in mind, as our walk is by faith, not by sight. It would be a very different relationship, but I don't know that it would be a more intimate relationship.

Once you come to realize just how 'close' God is, and how involved His is with each of us, all the time . . . you realize that God has "time" that He is there with you during your entire life?

That He sees, knows, understands your most private things? That He loves you and promises Himself to you to bring you to freedom from corruption?

The relationship we have with God now is really nothing more than a long distance one at best.

I truly hope you come to see this differently. Jesus promised that if we seek we will find.

..... some do appear to live with extremes - because people see conspiracy in the USA, then it seems that automatically everything is conspiracy - because there is fake news, it means everything In the news is fake....within the situation the world is facing there is a mixture of fact, manipulation and fake .........you can’t just presume that it’s all about manipulation and fake news..........that’s an extreme that some appear to have.

When it comes down to it, we walk by faith and not by sight because we would in fact drop deader than a door nail at the sight of him. We are pretending like God has a choice in this matter. We see that he doesn't with how he communicated with Moses on mount Sinai. Yes, a face to face relationship would be a very different one, it will be a real one. In other words, no veils or "tabernacles" whose access is strictly prohibited to anyone but a high priest, none of that. In the new earth, the true tabernacle of God will be with us, in the flesh. This is the day I am looking forward to. It ain't gone be no "walk by faith, not by sight", for we will see him as he really is.

I think he may be someone who doesn't know how to relate to people. With no friends in real life, people sometimes turn to the internet hoping to find friends there; but then they make the same mistakes they make in real life, alienating people who could be their friends.

If someone like that can learn how to behave around other people by joining a forum, it might even help him in real life. So it's an opportunity for us to do him a good turn. I doubt he can learn how to behave, but we can still try. . . at least a little.
