Well Hillary and Obama are of course helping Biden from the sidelines.

They all claim to be Christian, Hillary a Methodist, not sure what denomination Obama is and Biden is a Catholic.

If a prophet says he's received a message from God and it doesn't come to pass, he was either mistaken or was lying. God doesn't lie to people. Such a person is unreliable and could be picking up predictions from other sources. The Biblical standard is 100%.

Deuteronomy 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
I have pointed out before that we must go beyond waiting for the fulfillment....many prophesies in the Bible have not come to pass yet....the best way to determine if a prophesy is false is to test the spirit and to seek confirmation....by the mouth of 2 or more witnesses will every word be established.

When someone says someone is going to win an election and then he doesn't, we don't need to wait anymore to see if he is a false prophet. If someone says he's binding the coronavirus and it's going to be gone in a week, he's a false prophet if a week goes by and it didn't go away.
by the mouth of 2 or more witnesses will every word be established.
I wouldn't say that applies to prophets. That is about prosecuting people in court for crimes. Paul also seems to apply it in another way in church matters, again he is talking about handling misconduct.

2 Corinthians 12:20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:
21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.
13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
2 I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:

In other words, don't condemn anyone on what one person says. That is in line with the Old Testament in criminal cases.

Numbers 35:30 Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.

Deuteronomy 17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

I would not apply it so readily to prophecies. Indeed there is one case (1 Kings 22) where only one prophet got it right and the rest were deceived.

He's like a little kid, but with power. The few adults in the WH have been fired or have bailed out. There is no control now. We have a bitter, confused, and often irrational president, with no one around him willing to risk his tantrums.

Narcissists have no friends. They only have useful persons; those who adapt find ways to use the narcissist by fawning and flattery.
I've been wondering what brought about the change in how the Donald looks. Have you noticed that his face isn't that outrageous orange with the blue aroun his eyes anymore? It hasn't been when I see photos, and now his hair often looks pure white white too. I doubt anyone could convince him the makeup and hair color were ridiculous. My theory is Melania and Ivanka caught him one morning when he was about to color his hair and ganged up on him and told him how handsome and dignfied he looked with white hair and his natural skin color.

He does look better, I must admit. I remember when Obama stopped dying his hair. I thought he looked better too.

Has anyone got a record of how many he has fired?

I have fired literally hundreds of people. You never have a clue as to what kind of person you have hired until you spend at least a little time working with them. Are you guys suggesting to retain someone when you discover negative things about them?
I don't know anyone who has a crystal ball when it comes to knowing people before you watch them in action.

But has it ever happened that much before in the White House under another?

Now.... just think a moment or two about what you just said. Go ahead, think what you just implied about most past administrations, and who they kept working there.

That is almost like saying once a person signs up for this forum, they are here forever, no matter what you Mods learn about them.

But we are talking about leading a country? And what are the reasons Trump fired them for?

To be fair, a lot of good people bailed out, when they realized what a zoo the WH was becoming. Trump didn't fire them.

And some of them defied him, when he asked them to do something illegal. And a few of them were ideologues who just couldn't handle the jobs. So it wasn't just Trump throwing tantrums and firing people. That happened, but not as much as the revolving door would suggest.

My wife and I do not serve Man, but we serve Jesus Christ only. However, if Biden can even make it to November, it will take a miracle.

Oh? Leading a country is something different.... and you have to keep misfits? No, they should be weeded out VERY quickly.

Honestly I am for giving people another chance, I do think it takes quite a bit of grace to be a leader of a nation.

I acknowledge that people do make mistakes, including me, it's a part of being human.

Biden's had a lot of adversity in his life, and he's been counted out more than once, only to confound everyone and succeed. So it's probably a bad idea to think so this time. Each time he's been challenged, he's been more than up to the challenge. No doubt he seems energized right now, because he's extending his lead over Trump; but that's not the whole story.

I am wondering how long Richard Grenell will last. So far as I can see he has no experience in intelligence but still is "Acting" Director of National Intelligence. He has several Republicans worried since he's openly gay and dedicated to furthering the cause of gay rights. It's an interesting appointment since he's the first gay person ever appointed to a cabinet level position.

It's not so surprising; Trump has always tended to be Gay-friendly.

The executive director of the Log Cabin Republicans said on Friday that there have been ups and downs as to how the Trump administration has dealt with policies impacting the LGBT community.

"I think there's a lot of ups and downs in the last two years with some of the administration's actions," Jerri Ann Henry told Hill.TV's Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti on "Rising."

"He has been more vocally supportive than any Republican candidate or president, but there have been a few things that I haven't loved that the administration has done, and some things that I think we can do some work on," she continued.

"I want to make sure that we have the opportunity to improve on those things, not just fight over them," she said.

"Some of the issues where we can make major improvements are just the nuances. You know, marriage has only been legal for a short time, and we've seen a few hiccups here and there how that's been rolled out with the military, with the State Department, visas, and how they handle married LGBT partners and non-married LGBT partners for diplomats. That's something we need a lot of work on."

President Trump appeared to be vocally supportive of the LGBT community during the 2016 presidential campaign, tweeting in June of 2016 that he would fight for the community.

There are ‘ups and downs’ in Trump's relationship with LGBT community, says leader of gay GOP group

Evangelicals gave him a pass on that, just as they gave him a pass on his personal sexual um, habits, and his habit of lying.

"Record setting" what I thought, lots of people on that list.
