When Jesus was speaking about worshipping Him in Spirit and Truth he was talking to the woman at the well. In that discussion there was no mention about WHEN they would worship him, only how and where. That being the case, we cannot use the verse to establish a time or day that had been regulated to worship Jesus.
It is correct in certain respect, that when Jesus was speaking about worshipping Him in Spirit and in Truth He did not mention in so many words about WHEN the believers would worship Him. But He implied worship at a coming together of specific individuals, "believers", of specific Confession of Faith of "WORSHIP GOD, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, IN TRUTH, AND, IN SPIRIT", with specific purpose, for specific reason, to "WORSHIP".
Jesus compared CHURCH of old with CHURCH of the NEW Testament-- which is very obvious in the passage. He did not have in mind accidental meeting of any people one with another for no reason, of no mutual persuasion of Faith (the Christian Faith), at no purposed point in time. That being the case, we can only use this verse to establish a time or day that had been regulated to worship Jesus on, BY HIMSELF AS BEFORE, SO AFTER HIS COMING as God in flesh the Son of Man in Spirit and in Truth the Son of God.
"IN TRUTH" much more, "since JESUS gave them Rest .. and there THEREFORE, for the People of God, a Sabbath Day-of-rest (IN HIM) remains true and valid .. to remember and keep holy .. BECAUSE IN IT THE SEVENTH DAY SABBATH OF THE LORD GOD, GOD, RESTING, REVIVED AND REVIVING, RESTED." Exodus 31:17
