There ya go folks, attacking the Blood of Jesus!
Are you referring to 1st Peter 3:18-19.Okay - where is it written (usually understood as ) IN SCRIPTURE....
Ac 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.Okay - where is it written (usually understood as ) IN SCRIPTURE....
God teaches it thru Scripture: Acts 22:16, Acts 2:38-39, Titus 3:5-7I do not know of anyone who teaches water washes away sins.
Who teaches that?
Simply not true on both accounts.I assume you are speaking of water baptism? Well the only entity that I know that teaches water baptism saves is the Catholic Church, which is never taught in Scripture.
God's Word is True ! Yes!Ac 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Not so, probably... (not "any way He wanted" as if any way men think possible ... )Jesus could forgive sins any way He wanted while on earth. (He Is The Lord)
The Didache (written during NTC times) says this:Every book I have read in the last few months about the NTC have indicated that it was normal and constant that the new believer, once he had repented, was baptized by immersion in water to ensure that they not only got rid of the old man through repentance but that they put on the new through baptism.
If it was good enough for the NTC it should be good enough for us.
Yeshua = God. You do know, there are scriptures where Christ told people that their sins were forgiven. Not so, probably... (not "any way He wanted" as if any way men think possible ... )
He ONLY did as the Father Directed Him, and also never could He violate His Own Word ....
Martin Luther, Dale Moody Twentieth-Century Baptist, James McClendon, Jr. Twentieth-Century Baptist, R. Beasley-MurrayI do not know of anyone who teaches water washes away sins.
Who teaches that?
And ..... ?Yeshua = God. You do know, there are scriptures where Christ told people that their sins were forgiven.
Not only that John the Baptist was conducting baptisms for the remission of sins.
No I said...Yeshua = God. You do know, there are scriptures where Christ told people that their sins were forgiven. And ..... ?
Are you saying Jesus ever once, at all, disobeyed the Father !?
OR even Yochanan the immerser ?
(especially i the things posted so far)
JESUS IS GOD.Not so, probably... (not "any way He wanted" as if any way men think possible ... )
He ONLY did as the Father Directed Him, and also never could He violate His Own Word ....

ONLY the Blood of Jesus washes away sins! While preaching Christ to the lost in (Acts 8) the SAVING message included water. (Acts 8:5,1,13,26-40)
TRUE / FALSE
And He did it with His Blood, not water baptism.Jesus could forgive sins any way He wanted while on earth. (He Is The Lord)
ONLY the Blood of Jesus washes away sins!
