yes you may be right that there is higher levels of this thing, but do not think you are clear on it as we are still at a drink milk level. your thoughts on aldutry or killing would be...wow we could all be like bush with your thoughts.....the sabbath is real and to be remembered......get it .....you only fool yourself and will only hinder yourself in matters of blessing and direction.. ..........................................
When His ministry began, Jesus’ irreverence to religious traditions was startling to the scribes and Pharisees. His violation of the Sabbath norms was His most irritating and flagrant act. The Sabbath rest was instructed by the law of Moses, the ten commandments, and the Oral law. From the day of God’s rest from creation it symbolized the respectful fear and worship of the Creator. Except for circumcision, it was the most distinctive feature of Hebrew faith which set the people of Israel apart from all other peoples. Transgressing Sabbath laws was no joking matter. It was so serious, in fact, that the death penalty was inflicted upon violators. If a person received a warning after one violation, and then deliberately broke a Sabbath ordinance for the second time he got the Hebrew electric chair — stoning.

On a certain Sabbath day Jesus in spirit saw the Father healing a man with a withered hand. Later that day He entered into the synagogue and taught. There in the synagogue He saw the man with the withered hand. The Father said, "Heal him!" The scribes and Pharisees were there watching Him that day for the express purpose of seeing whether He would heal on the Sabbath day as He did on the other days. They were looking for some grounds of accusation against Him. Jesus perceived their thoughts and plot, so He said to the man with the withered hand, "Come, stand here in the midst." The man got up and stood there. Jesus fastened His eyes on the scribes and Pharisees and said, "I ask you — is it lawful to do good deeds on the Sabbath day? Is it permissible to save a life on the Sabbath day?" Then He glanced around at them all, and said to the man, "Stretch out your hand!" The man stretched out his hand and it was restored like the other one. The Pharisees went out and immediately held a consultation with the Herodians against Him, how they might put Him to death.

You would think that Jesus had made His point. He could let it rest. No need to further infuriate His enemies against Him. But He went out of the synagogue and did no miracles for a time. Then on another Sabbath day He again attended Sabbath services at a synagogue. And there was a woman there who for eighteen years had an infirmity, she was bent completely forward and utterly unable to straighten herself or to look upward. When Jesus saw her He called her to Him and said to her, "Woman, you are released from your infirmity!" Then He laid hands on her and instantly she was made straight and thanked and praised God all over the synagogue! "And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the Sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day. The Lord then answered him and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?" (Lk. 13:14-16).

Why is Jesus so audacious? Why does He continue this disrespectful behavior? Why does He play with death? Why does He strike out at the heart of the law and traditions, jeopardizing His own life? When people were sick for eighteen years why didn’t He politely wait at least one more day to heal them? What’s one day compared to eighteen years? Rather than waiting courteously, He deliberately offends all the religious leaders with these outrageous acts on the Sabbath. I will tell you why! Because He was doing only those things He saw the Father doing. He saw the Father healing on the Sabbath, so He healed on the Sabbath. He didn’t see the Father healing for a season between Sabbaths, so He healed no one between the Sabbaths. What religion or religious leaders thought about it was not even up for consideration. That is the perfect obedience of sonship. That is the way of one who says with Jesus, "I come only to do those things I see my Father do." Jesus knew full well the penalties of the law, yet He mocked the scribes and Pharisees in spite of their warning, and continued to heal. Oh, the wonder of it! Nothing could hold Him — not even religion!

This is why death could not hold Jesus — NOTHING ELSE COULD HOLD HIM! Nothing in the whole world could hold Him. Sin could not hold Him, for He was "tempted in all points like as we are, yet without sin" (Heb. 4:15). His mother could not hold Him. His friends could not hold Him. His disciples could not hold Him. The Pharisees could not hold Him. The traditions of the elders could not hold Him. Religion could not hold Him. Satan could not hold Him. His own personal desires, His own will could not hold Him. The hatred of His enemies, the plaudits of His friends could not hold Him. So it was a natural thing that DEATH COULD NOT HOLD THE CHRIST, because nothing else could hold Him! Therein lies the secret to life and immortality. Paul said it this way, and it means the same thing: "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the spirit the things of the spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live" (Rom. 8:5-6,13).

Isn't it funny I happen to agree with Shelli's doctrinal view on this
yet he/she is so arrogant , those really wanting to learn about this will ignore the words he/she speaks
so it does nothing for the body of Christ.

How many learn from the playground bully ?even when they are right it doesnt matter he/she speaks to the wind

Let us all learn and take a lesson from Shelli's arrogance and nasty attitude that knowing the words is only half the answer
This is the same lesson we learned from the pharisees they had the words the laws down to an art ..but Christ condemned them

remember the words of Mathew

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

His/ her words maybe correct but they are given with venom and arrogance like the serpent .... Satan is a master at scripture he knows it so well he can quote it to Christ himself ..
So knowing the words of scriptures alone doesnt make one a Christian .... So I say to all watch Shelli
its exactly how Satan the deceiver will work quoting the scriptures pretending to be an angel of light ....

l

I just got a moral revelation just today as a matter of fact. It was revealed to me what a foul mouthed, hatefull, lustfull, greedy, unforgiving, vengeful, just over all nasty person I really am.

I thought I had it all under control. I know the Lord has given me wisdom about many things, yet I don't abide by it. LOL, I thought I was, but taking an inventory of the past few months I realize I have a lot of work to do.

For some reason I was shocked and surprised. I didn't expect any of it. So, there's another bad flaw,,,, My own Arrogance.

But, I also learned that forgiving yourself is very hard. We hold grudges against ourselves longer than the Lord does. But, thankfully the Lord is merciful, and a great and patient teacher, only wanting the best for us and to see us succeed!!!!

We can't sit around feeling bad about our sins and our weaknesses and beating ourselves up for our mistakes.

This sounds off topic, but, it really is along with the arrogance. Worse thing in the world is arrogance IMHO.

HOGWASH.... I am under grace not the OT Law. You speak religious bondage here and nothing more. There is much deeper understanding of the Sabbath rest and it my faith has nothing to do with OT legalism. You are the one limiting God and missing the true blessing as well as the real deep message here.

I believe we have to understand the fulfillment of the
"Sabbath Law" and it's meaning and purpose so it
can make a little sence to us. If we have the historical
background...then, we can began to put some things
together.

The first Sabbath was the seventh DAY and was for
man and beast.

The second Sabbath was the land-rest of the seventh
YEAR, which also held all debts in abeyance during that
year. In other words, no one had to repay debts during that
year, because, at least in theory, they had no income from
the land. To force people to continue making payments on
debt would usually force people to sow and reap the land
in order to make their scheduled payments.

The third and final Sabbath was the JUBILEE, which occurred
after seven land-rest Sabbaths, or 49 years. This final Sabbath
cancelled all remaining debt, and every family's inheritance
reverted to him if sold in the earlier years (Lev. 25:10-13).

Hence, God says in Hebrews 4:5, “They shall not enter MY rest.”
God's rest is the Jubilee. It is the highest of the three Sabbath-
rests and the most important, because it represents the
cancellation of all debt ( liability for sin). Verses 6-9 then
reads,

6 Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who
formerly had good news preached to them failed to enter because
of disobedience, 7 He again fixes a certain day, “Today,” saying
through David after so long a time just as has been said before,
“Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” 8 For if
Joshua [ Jesus, or Yeshua] had given them rest, He would
not have spoken of another day after that. 9 There remains
therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God.

The Sabbath rest that yet remains for us is the Jubilee, which, in
a way, is the preparation day for the feast of Tabernacles. These
three Sabbaths overlay upon the three primary feast days: Passover,
Pentecost, and Tabernacles. When one is justified by faith in the
blood of the Lamb (Passover), one enters God's first-level “rest.”
When one is filled with the Spirit (Pentecost), one enters God's
second-level “rest.” When we receive the glorified, immortal body,
leaving our old inheritance to dwell in a “booth” made of living
branches, we enter into God's rest (level three). It is the level of
rest that God intended for us from the beginning.

Historically speaking, when we view the progression of the
Kingdom on a time line, it works like this: Israel never kept a
Jubilee or a land-rest Sabbath prior to the time of Ezra. Each
year that they missed, they owed God one year as a sin-debt.
By the 38 th year of David, Israel owed God 62 rest years and
8 Jubilees, or a total of 70 years. God then foreclosed upon
the debt.

First, He had David number the people without collecting the
half-shekel atonement money (2 Sam. 24; Ex. 30:11-13), to
remove the protection that they enjoyed when Moses had
collected the atonement money during the previous census
in the wilderness. In David's day, then, 70,000 men of Israel
were killed in the plague—a thousand for each rest year that
Israel owed God.

Apparently, the people still did not learn their lesson, for their
time-debt grew again to 70 years by the time of the Babylonian
captivity. God then sent them into captivity for 70 years
specifically because they had refused to keep their Sabbaths.
2 Chron. 36:21 tells us this:

21 to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until
the land had enjoyed its Sabbaths. All the days of its desolation
it kept Sabbath until seventy years were complete.

We are not told if they kept their weekly Sabbaths or not, but the
time-debt accrued on account of their refusal to keep their land
rests and Jubilees. By the time the people were taken to Babylon,
they owed God seventy years.

When the people returned from the Babylonian captivity, they
began to keep their land-rest years, as history shows. But even
so, they refused to keep their Jubilees, showing the truth of
Hebrews 4:9, “There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the
people of God.”
It is the Jubilee (and the feast of Tabernacles)
that remains to be fulfilled.

All that Jesus did or said was not of Himself. He had entered
into that “rest” which yet remained for the people of God. The
Sabbath that He kept was the highest form of Sabbath that God
intended for man from the beginning. It is to cease from one's
OWN works, and desist from speaking one's OWN words. It is
to do only what the Father does and to speak only the Father's
words.

That is the Jubilee rest of Hebrews 4:10. Through Pentecost,
the second-level rest experience, we begin to learn how to do
this by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Yet Pentecost is a leavened
feast that requires fire to make it an acceptable offering to God.
It is a time of wilderness training, a time of growth to come to
maturity. It is only when we reach the Tabernacles experience
that we do this constantly with no fleshly interruptions.

Getting back to Hebrews 4:11, we read,

11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone
fall through following the same example of disobedience.

The “example of disobedience” here is the day Israel refused
to enter the Promised Land when the twelve spies gave their
reports. It was the day Israel as a nation refused to enter into
God's rest, the Jubilee and the feast of Tabernacles. And so,
we find that God would not let them enter His rest, and 38
years later, God told them to enter Canaan at the time of
Passover, instead of Tabernacles. They crossed the Jordan
River on the tenth day of the FIRST month (Joshua 4:19),
which was the day the people were to select the lambs to
prepare for Passover (Ex. 12:3).

Hence, they were given only a first-level Sabbath, based
upon Passover. Many years later, the New Testament Church
was given a second-level Sabbath, based upon Pentecost.
We today are now coming historically into that third-level
Sabbath, based upon the fulfillment of the feast of Tabernacles.
This Sabbath is not based upon one's work in and of itself, but
upon doing the works of God and speaking the words of God.
This is how one ceases from his own works, and this was
God's intent for us from the beginning.

12 For the Word of God is living and active and sharper than
any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of
soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge
the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

It is not merely the Word of God itself that the author has in
mind, but the fact that it is coming through one who has entered
into God's rest. When this living Word is spoken, rather than
man's words, it will divide soul and spirit and be able to judge
the thoughts and intentions of the heart. It is a sword that is
much sharper than those dull weapons that are able only to
separate men's heads from their bodies.

13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all
things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom
we have to do.

Oh that Christians would use this sword, rather than the
swords of men. Then would all men's hearts be laid bare,
their thoughts and intents revealed, and all men would be
judged righteously by the Spirit in Truth.

Logabe,

Now we getting somewhere.DAY SEVEN

"Seven" speaks of completion or fullness, so it was on the Seventh Day that "God ended his work which he had made, and he rested. . . "Gen.2:2. This stage of rest is attained by only a few, but the Lord is calling His Own to arise and "labor to enter into His rest." He told His disciples, "Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests (in us) but He had "no place to lay His Head." There was no man willing to let His Mind rest upon him and to rule his life. This is the significatnt mark of the Seventh Day: The Lord is at rest, and He has a people who have come into His rest and have let His Mind be their portion. This is "the image of God" coming in man! The rest is come when, through the Word of God, HIS WILL IS DONE PERFECTLY. IF HIS WILL RULES, THERE WILL BE A REST.

This is the stage of full age or perfection when, instead of growth and change, and the struggle between the old state and the work of God within us, we reach the life of vison and of rest. Here we live above striving; we are at rest and full of peace. We are like a deep, still stream reflecting God and heaven, instead of a brawling river, reflecting nothing in its headlong rush to the sea.

At first, in our walk with God, we do not know this rest, for the flesh and the spirit strive together. The man, too, is yet "double" and lives in both flesh and spirit, thus he cannot know "the peace of God which passeth all understanding." The law in his members wars against the law of his mind, even though God’s true work is growing. In time, received from the testimony of scripture, or from another’s experience. Some groups specialize in testimonies, which is borrowed light, or faith. Faith is our MOON to rule over the night — our dark places, where we are ignorant of His ways. stands for the CHURCH, which operates in a reflected glory. (The light has not as yet been inworked in them). Rev. 12 speaks of "a woman clothed with the SUN, and the MOON under her feet. . . " It is this woman who travails and brings forth a man child (a mature son). These lights are "to rule over the day and over the night." To rule over the gifts of God (day) and to rule over the present darkness that still troubles us, is the ministration of the Lights of the Fourth Day. At this stage, we find that the SUN is the center. We had thought we were the center, and the SUN moved around us! He is found to be steadfast, while we journey on until the Seventh Day’s work is wrought in us, and we are found "in the image of God."

You are still getting hung up with legalism; the law... NOT grace. It is not a matter of Saturday or Sunday, even though you are correct literally speaking but we are NOT under the LAW. Every day is the Lords.

Everyday is the Lords, not Saturday or Sunday.

Psalm 118:24
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

You speak of grace but your actions/beliefs are the law of Moses.

Wherefore the law was our school-master to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith." (Galatians 3:21-24).

A schoolmaster, (the Greek text gives, a child conductor), was one who held the child in restraint as they conducted the child from home to the school, making sure that there was no mischief along the way, and that the child arrived at the school. Then the child was given over to the care of the teacher, and the duty of the child conductor was ended. The child conductor did not stand in the back of the class room and continue to exercise control and authority over the child, for now the Teacher was in control, and there was to be no outside interference. So also, once we have been brought to Christ, and His anointing abides within us, we are to be led by the Spirit.

You are missing the point and going of on a weird worldly, carnal tangent. If you need to do these worldly things then God has a lot of work to kill your flesh. You give Satan far too much glory.

tku for your reply, again i know the things you say,it does not change the fact that the lord did not change one title of the law..do you mean to till me i am free to have sex with married woman and god does not care. i believe that if i do i am saved but god does care. you till me i am under grace does that mean god does not care if i kill kill over and over..please i am not saying anything against faith and grace..you wish to change something that can not be changed you do fool yourself [and the world has been fooled this way for a great reason by the dark one..

Jesus told the women at the well "go and sin no more". She was an adulteress and had five husbands. It is called grace not the law. He should of stoned her according to the law of Moses, but He blessed her.

It is not a matter of what we do it is a matter who we know.

Titus 3

3For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Do you know the difference between spiritual milk and meat? Meat you need maturity, spiritual teeth to chew with. Milk anyone can drink even babies. Most christians can only have milk for they know nothing spiritual, their maturity is religious.

But he did not say it about the Sabbath. You are making that up to defend your false doctrine.
