Read it better than you.
And that's your JW opinion. The NWT clearly declares Jesus to be God and Hell eternal whether you believe it or not. "Belief in the eternal Hell is not required for residency therein", I read that somewhere.

Do you believe you're a god?

Yeah it is my opinion. Just like everything you say is your opinion.

Yeah it is my opinion. Just like everything you say is your opinion.
John 1 The Word was God, is not my opinion. It's fact. Thomas calling Jesus NWT "My God" is not my opinion. It's fact!

NWT Matt 28 Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the NAME (singular) of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, is not my opinion, it's FACT.

So why are you evading telling us if you believe you're a god?

Fact, there are other Bibles that don't say the Word is God but instead say the Word is a god or the Word is devine. I do mean Bibles, not just the NWT.

Fact, as I said when Thomas said My Lord and My God he knew that Jesus had said earlier that he had a Father and a God which was also the Apostles and disciples Father and God, THAT would include Thomas. Thomas knew that The True God has neither a Father or a God.
Thomas wasn't in any way calling Jesus a liar when Jesus said he had a Father and a God. So how as you say, that Thomas thought Jesus to be God the Only True God, when Jesus had said earlier in this chapter of John that Jesus had a Father and God? The True God as I said has neither a Father or a God.

You just can't accept that in the scriptures at John 20:17 Jesus says he has a Father and a God. Jesus shows in this Scripture that he isn't The Only True God but instead He is The Only Begotten Son of God. So Thomas knew that Jesus said he had a Father and a God, Thomas also knew that The Only True God doesn't have a Father and a God so when Thomas said My Lord and My God after realizing that Jesus actually had been resurrected you honestly think Thomas thought Jesus was The Only True God when he knew that Jesus had said he had a Father and God which was also Thomas Father and God. You honestly believe that Thomas thought Jesus was a liar when Jesus said he had a Father and God?

But I do accept John 20. Thomas is calling YOU the liar. Your own NWT calls YOU the liar.
NWT "Thomas said to Jesus, "My Lord and my God".
NWT Matt 28 "baptizing them in the NAME (singular) of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

1. The Father

2. The literally begotten Son of God who is a separate person and only began to exist from his human birth.

One of these two possibilities must be the correct answer.
Not so . . .

Other possibilities exist. For instance, the eternally existing Son Who incarnated into a body prepared for Him.

Couldn't that be an option?

Much love!

At John 20:17 Jesus Christ says he has a Father and God after he was resurrected by God. You know as I do, if you're actually a Christian, that The True God has no Father or God. So who is right Jesus or Thomas. So according to you is Thomas right and Jesus wrong when Jesus says he has a Father and God. Jesus explained that the Father and God of Jesus was also Thomas Father and God. Is Jesus wrong when Jesus says that?

You left out the 3rd and correct option.

That the Son is Eternal, just as the Father is Eternal and the Holy Spirit is Eternal.

hope this helps !!!

This is who Jesus is: -

Isa 44:6 Thus saith Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.

Isa 54:5 For thy Maker is thy husband; Jehovah of hosts is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is thy Redeemer; the God of the whole earth shall he be called.

Luk 2:11 For today is born to you in the city of David, the Savior, who is YAHWEH, the Messiah.

Act 10:36 The Word which He sent to the sons of Israel, preaching the good news of peace through Yahshua Messiah, He is Master YAHWEH of all.

Act 2:36 Then assuredly, let all the house of Israel acknowledge that YAHWEH made known this same Yahshua whom you crucified, He is both YAHWEH and Messiah.

Rom 9:5 whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Messiah according to flesh, He being YAHWEH over all, blessed forever. Amen.

I will take Thomas's and Matthew's words over yours any day.

NWT "Thomas said to Jesus, "My Lord and my God".
NWT Matt 28 "baptizing them in the NAME (singular) of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I'm talking about Scripture at John 20:17 Jesus said he has a Father and God at John 20:17. Was Jesus lying when he said that?

Oh gee, look what else I found in the NWT.

Gen 1:26 God said: “Let US make man in OUR image, according to OUR likeness.

You must have lots of trouble sorting our all your gods Barney.

Yes it says the Father is Jesus's God and it also says Jesus is God. Your problem. You don't even believe your JW bible. How many God's do you believe in? You must believe YOU are a god too.

.

I agree that Jesus is a god but not The Only True God who created all things and is the source of all life, The Only True God is JEHOVAH who is The Father and God of Jesus. No I don't think of myself as a god.

The word “God” or “god” is commonly used regarding a superhuman object of veneration. Thus, in the minds of many people, “god” means either (1) the Supreme Being, the Almighty, or (2) a false god, such as an idol. However, the Bible allows for other usage. We can see this from Psalm 82:1,2. There the Divine One (Jehovah God) is distinguished from human judges whom the psalmist terms “gods.” Jesus himself later referred to this passage. Because he had spoken of Jehovah God as being his Father, some Jews wanted to stone him. To their accusation that he was ‘making himself a god,’ Jesus responded: “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I said: “You are gods”’? If he called [those human judges] ‘gods’ . . . do you say to me whom the Father sanctified and dispatched into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, I am God’s Son?” John 10:31-36

Unquestionably there is only one Almighty God, even as the apostle Paul wrote: “For even though there are those who are called ‘gods,’ whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many ‘gods’ and many ‘lords,’ there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, . . . and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him.” 1 Corinthians 8:5,6. The Lord Jesus Christ is no false god, no demon god, no mere idol. He ‘is the reflection of Jehovah God’s glory.’ Hebrews 1:3 Thus it is fitting for John 1:1 to acknowledge Jesus as “a god,” or “godlike."

“The title ho theos [the God, or God], which now designates the Father as a personal reality, is not applied in the N[ew] T[estament] to Jesus Himself; Jesus is the Son of God (of ho theos). . . . Jn 1:1 should rigorously be translated ‘the word was with the God [=the Father], and the word was a divine being.’”—Dictionary of the Bible (1965), by John L. McKenzie, S.J.

The Only True God Jehovah was speaking to his Only Begotten Son at Genesis 1:26. As I said The Only Begotten Son of God is a god but not The Only True God who is Jehovah.
