Back in January 2017, I had a dream about the Rapture. I began with my mom and I driving in the car and we were driving past the cemetery in my town leading to my house. As I looked ahead towards distant mountains was a huge, bright, shiny Light coming from the Sky, almost seemed like it was a shape of a star vaguely. Getting out of the car in disbelief and in awe by what I was seeing. I fell to my knees a began saying “Oh Jesus my Savior!” and being lost for words. Being on my knees on the sidewalk other people surrounded me looking confused and was looking at me like I was absolutely crazy. But, I knew that this Light was blatantly in the Sky and everybody in the world could look up and see it. I had a sense that the people looking at me weren’t going to be part of the Rapture because they all couldn’t see what I was seeing.

Jumped to being at my house with my family being excited but, two family members I looked at them wondering if they were even going to be part of the Rapture or not. I went to look out the window and it first was daylight and quickly changed to night and seen a huge white Moon. As I was looking at it, it changed from a regular white Moon, gradually changing to orange, and then to a big Blood Moon. I knew that this was an “unforeseen, unprecedented” Blood Moon to where no one knew it was going to happen and not even the news was reporting it. Seeing these things it had felt like our names were going to be called literally any second to be caught up in Heaven, the Rapture. The sense was so imminent that, I was awaiting the seconds of my name to be called and hoping I was good enough to make it.

Revelations 1:7 Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him.

Acts 2:20-1 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Hi A.F.,

Uhhhhhhhhh, -- no offense --, but my wife repeatedly tells me how precious life is, and that Jesus could come for me AT ANY MOMENT. So I stop whatever I'm doing.

... And I hate to break the news, but the "rapture" comes at the END of the Millennial Kingdom when everything is dealt with and Jesus ascends to the New Jerusalem, and HIS Church ascends along with HIM.

Conversely, it might be prudent to invest in pogo sticks, trampolines, or those shoes with little spring coils on the bottoms!

And if I might leave a FINAL THOUGHT:

Lke 22:35 And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no purse or bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” 36 He said to them, “But now, let him who has a purse take it, and likewise a bag. And let him who has no sword sell his mantle and buy one.

Hi Amanda, and welcome!!

That's an exciting thought that maybe we might know something before it actually happens! I love it where you say, this light was blatantly in the sky! The day our faith becomes sight.

:)

I think maybe closest thing in this world to being raptured would be the anticipation, expectation, that it's about to happen.

I had a rapture dream some years ago, I was in a church, we were standing in a circle around the wall, all the chair in the middle. We were singing How Great Thou Art, holding hands, someone raised their hands, then we all did, singing, holding our raised hands, eyes closed. I realized I no longer felt any weight, I opened my eyes to see the ground quickly falling away, I looked upward, into an amazing light . . . and the dream ended.

But about a month later, my wife and I were visiting the church where she was saved, and the song leader said, let's all get up and get in a circle, and we all stood around the edge of the room. I realized they do this, everyone was very orderly, certain ones got the the banners to wave, and everyone held hands. I can hardly describe how I felt as we started singing, How Great Thou Art.

And then we finished, and sat down again.

Much love!

Hello, and hope you're good. In all do respect I will never say that the Rapture will be today, tomorrow, or even a week from now because no one knows but, we can know the season of Jesus's Coming, one way is through signs and wonders in the Sky. As a believer in Christ I'm living like Jesus is coming today but, also as if He won't be back for a hundred years. Anyways God bless.

Titus 2:13 waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

Matthew 24:36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.

Acts 2:20 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.

See? You believe another MISREPRESENTATION. Scripture only says we can't know the "DAY or the HOUR", but the church teaches that we can't know the: Week; Month; Season; Year (1); Decade (10); Score (20); Century (100); Daytona (500); or Millennia (1,000). And this is patently FALSE. -- We simply can't know the DAY or the HOUR.

And Scripture is Fairly Clear as to the YEAR, and the Feasts are Fairly Clear as to the WEEK. But I'm not as proficient in the significance of the Feasts, so I'm content knowing the MONTH:

1 Thess. 5:2 For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 When people say, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as travail comes upon a woman with child, and there will be no escape. 4 But you are not in darkness, brethren, for that day to surprise you like a thief.

But MANY people prefer to be in the "dark", and they have that "FREE WILL"; but I like to be PREPARED for the "weather". And that FORECAST (Scripture) says that Jesus will return in the Fall of 2021. -- But we all make our choices:

Hsea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge ...

Hello, and hope your day is good. That's an amazing dream and then to have the Lord confirm to you in those ways is also amazing! Almost seems like God wants us to live in every moment as if He's coming in that moment and for today. God's good.

Hi Bobby Jo, hope you have a wonderful day and I'm praying for you and your family.

Certainly we should all pray for each other, but the people I pray MOST FOR are those who will be as unprepared as Peter in the Courtyard, and will be part of the Great Falling Away under the weight of NO Job, NO Money, and NO Food. And because they didn't Prepare their households, if they're able remain TRUE to Jesus, the good news is that they will receive FREE SHOWERS. -- So yeah, I'll be praying that YOU and YOUR FAMILY will be able to endure.

Rev. 13:10 ... Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.
Rev. 14:12 Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

But more importantly, if you would like to know where Scripture provides the "Year", it's such a simple premise that a child could understand:

Psalms J.R.Church.jpg

All you have to do is read this 19th Book of the Bible (prophetic for the 1900's), Chapter for year, -- such that Book 19, Chapter 48 = 1948 International Recognition of the State of Israel; etc.
-- NOTE: You won't find the 1967 "6-Day-War" because those years were FILLED with attacks from the Palestinians, typical of the 1972 Munich Olympic Massacre; but you WILL find the 1944 Holocaust; the 1991 Desert Storm; and Obama's 2009 Inauguration year Prophecy. And the MORE you know about Modern Jewish History from their perspective, the MORE the Prophecies align, including the 1986 "and spare the son of thine handmaid"! -- Scripture and History don't lie:

Deut. 18: 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously, you need not be afraid of him.

Scripture doesn't provide the year, many have made predictions to the year that Jesus comes back and they have been wrong.

Scripture doesn't provide the year, ...

So you read the Psalms in context with the Jewish History of the 1900's and into the 2000's? And you didn't find any ASSOCIATION what so ever with Psalms 48 and the International Recognition of the State of Israel? And no association between Psalms 91 and Desert Storm? -- None at all?
(And we could keep going down this line to include the SIGNIFICANCE of Psalms 23; and the OBVIOUS HISTORIES of MULTIPLE other Chapters of Psalms including 44, 45, 86, 109, 117, 118, and 119, plus others as appropriate.)

... Or did you already have your mind made up?!?

Man, I LOVE having dreams like that. I mean, I don't think they're particularly biblical, because in the dream I'm always aware that the Rapture is just about to happen, and you TASTE the anticipation in the air. But still, for that moment it makes it more...real...I suppose, than our musings on it while awake can. And we can tell ourselves that one day, perhaps very soon, such an event will truly happen. It changes your outlook, that's for sure.

You should study more of God's written Word to discover the only time Jesus comes for His Church is on the final day of this world, which is called the "day of the Lord" by Apostles Paul and Peter (1 Thess.5; 2 Peter 3:10). No works of man will be able to exist through God's consuming fire on that day, so that day of Christ's coming will be very easy for everyone to know.

Exactly correct. Scripture is always accurate, Dreams are never accurate. That's why it's a discovery to find someone who can interpret dreams.

And so we should base our Faith on what Scripture ACTUALLY SAYS. But few research Scripture to find out. It's easier to have someone (a Pastor, or a Teacher, or an acquaintance) give their "version" of what Scripture says, -- or hold onto a Dream ...

Hi Davy, hope you're well. Thank you and yes I'll be continuing to study God's Word throughout my life. The Bible is so needed in our lives, we all need the knowledge and His word to know who Jesus is, to overcome, to be well-equipped, well-protected, well-educated, day to day living, to not be caught off guard, to be encouraged, encouragement for others, to be enlightened by Him, for answers, I could go on but, most importantly to personally know and see God's everlasting love. God bless you and your family.

hi @Amanda F It's really not a question of trying to be "good" enough to make it - 'all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God' (Romans 3.23); but it's a matter of 'being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ' (Romans 5.1).

I do love the Gospel summary in John 3.16 also. Blessings.

Well, I agree our primary source must always be scripture, as it is solid and sure and can be a measure of God's truth to hold everything else up against. But I don't necessarily believe that we ought to dismiss dreams out of hand. We see in Acts:

For these people are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel:
“‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh,
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall see visions,
and your old men shall dream dreams;
even on my male servants and female servants
in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. -Acts 2:15–18

I've never had any experience with dreams or the interpretations of them, but they are spoken of IN scripture, so that suggestions we shouldn't immediately disregard them, only carefully judge them by his word. And...perhaps remember that dreams might not need to be prophetic for them to be encouraging. And if we're speaking of encouragement, then we get into subjective and personal things. For those issues, if they're not 'teaching' issues, I think if it's between you, the Spirit and it doesn't contradict anything taught in scripture, and it does edify you and cause you to glorify God, we cannot ignore that it could be sent in an encouraging way.

... I don't necessarily believe that we ought to dismiss dreams out of hand. ...

I'M IN FULL AGREEMENT, -- but I REALLY don't think my "flying" dreams are to be taken LITERALLY; or that the birds eating the bread is LITERAL; or so many other dreams which carry a "message" which is often not fully understood or correctly applied by the individual! :)

Thus any Dream, Prophecy, or Tongues & Interpretation must FIRST be vetted against Scripture, and then against whether there's a FULFILLMENT:

Deut. 18:22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously, you need not be afraid of him.

Hi 4HG37,

Ummmmmmm, both pastors and christians like spoon feed the "milk, but it's never grasped or appreciated unless YOU do your own Research. And so here's the path:

1. In ~1985 J.R. Church (of the TV Program "Prophecy In The NEWS", -- now deceased some half a dozen years) wrote a book titled "Hidden Prophecies In The Psalms", where he proposed that this 19th Book of the Bible is Prophetic to the Jews for the 1900's, Chapter for Year, such that Book 19, Chapter 48 = 19-48 International Recognition of the State of Israel. And considering that the Book was published PRIOR to Desert Storm, you can Independently Validate the premise by reading Chapter 91 to see if it appears to correspond.

And of course, the more you know about Modern Jewish History from their perspective, the more the Chapters align, including 19-44 Holocaust; -- but not the '67 Six Day War because that decade was FILLED with Palestinian attacks --; and even 19-109 = 2009 which is Obama's Inauguration year.

2. It helps to know "Scriptural/Historical Coincidences". For example:
a. What is the SHORTEST Chapter in all Scripture?
b. What is the MIDDLE Chapter in all Scripture?
c. What year is exactly 70 years after the International Recognition of the State of Israel?
d. What year did the U.S. Recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel?
e. What is the LONGEST Chapter in all Scripture?
3. I would propose that we crossed the threshold into the 42 month (Rev. 13:5) Tribulation at the above Mid-Point.

And it also helps to know Statistics, where one could argue a probability of 26 Billion to one. :)

Thanks for your reply Bobby Jo. :) But could you just tell me what year you think the return of our Lord Jesus would be? Hypothetically of course. Like you said, no one knows the day or the hour BUT we do know the seasons. I am of the standing that we (the Church, the Bride, the elect, the believers) will be going through the refiner's fire before the Lord returns and we will be cleansed from all our unrighteousness. The greatest endtime harvest will be these last days and it is going to be the worst of times and the best of times.
The Lord is pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh and many are having dreams. Repent! For the Kingdom of God is at hand!
