I can't blame President Trump for the interference he has encountered from the opposing parties. It's a wonder he has accomplished this much.
What interference did he have in the first two years? Both houses of Congress were controlled by Republicans.
Any President is going to get opposition. If you want to get things done, you need to learn how to compromise at times. Complaining about the opposition and blaming the party not in power really doesn't cut the mustard. If Trump can't handle the opposition, he shouldn't be running again.
Trump also helps create unnecessary opposition by making nasty personal remarks when the smart thing to do would be keep quiet. He doesn't know how to calm people down -- but he sure knows how to wind them up.
Do you remember how Trump said Democrats were politicizing coronavirus? They were creating a "new hoax," he said. Here he is back in February attacking Democrats for creating a hoax and bragging about how well he was handling things. How can you reason with someone who says things like this?
He also said how China was on top of things and keeping him informed. Later he said the opposite and blamed China for the virus, calling it the "China virus." He attacked WHO over it as well. The Chinese must be looking at him and saying, "How can we cooperate with this guy?"
I read that the Brits gave up trying to negotiate a trade deal with the US for now. While it would have been good to get one signed as fast as possible, they gave up on it. They are probably hoping Biden gets elected so they can get a trade deal without unnecessary conflicts and dragging of feet.
Ever notice that when things go right Trump takes credit for it, but when things go wrong he always blames other people? That's his personality type -- and I tell you if you ever meet someone like that, I think it's smart to avoid him or her as much as you can.
