I'm not seeing what you're seeing, can you explain your position more that everyone will make it to safety? I was under the impression that some would be destroyed in the lake of fire.

Let us remember these words as well .
Many will say unto me , BUT LORD didnt we do good works IN your name and in your name even cast out demons
and HE will say DEPART FROM ME ye who worked inquity . I never knew you .
Not everyone is gonna be saved . Few they be . means few they be .

1 John 3:21-24 shows us that we can have assurance, but the doctrine of OSAS is an extremely dangerous doctrine, and those who believe it and do not take all the warnings into account such as Matthew 7:21-23 are like bulls being pulled around by the ring in their nose. They can't think for themselves.

Hi Devin. Thanks for visiting and commenting.

Let's begin with this verse...

Psalms 139:15
"My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth."

Since I take the above verse literally, as I believe everyone should, then what the Word of God is teaching us here is that the Lowest Parts of the Earth is where you, I, and all babies come from.

In other words, Hell is a parable for the place in which we all were born out of.

Jesus confirms this...

Matthew 23:15
"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves."

Again, this is literal. 'Child of Hell' means exactly that. Hell is a place where babies are born out of.

Hell, or in the original Greek, 'Gehenna' is of course the Old Testament Valley of the Son of Hinnom...

Jeremiah 32:35
"And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin."

Gehenna is where the concept of the Lake of Fire comes from. Notice that the Children *PASS THROUGH* the fire? This is teaching us that those tossed into the Lake of Fire actually pass through it. They do not 'burn forever' or become 'annihilated'. There is another destination waiting for them.

This brings us to...

Jonah 2:2
"And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice."

Again, we see that the Belly is associated with Hell. The Whale is a picture of the Lowest Parts of the Earth. We know from Matthew 23:15 that the Lowest Parts of the Earth... aka... Hell, is where babies come from. Therefore, the Whale is a picture of pregnancy. Jonah is the Seed inside. Note that Moloch and the Whale share a similar theme.

Long story short, Jonah is a picture of One who is thrown into the Lake of Fire and eventually vomited, or birthed, into this world. Jonah gets a 'Second Chance'...

Our God is a God of Second Chances.

Universalists are actually the closest to unravelling the Mystery.

They understand enough to know that the Lake of Fire is not the 'end of the line' so to speak. They have correctly deduced that there is a type of 'refining process' that takes place.

Unfortunately, they haven't connected enough of the dots to understand how said refining process works. Consequently, their Doctrine misses the Mark.

There is a Cycle that is implied in Scripture that most do not see. Not everyone makes it the first go around...

Ecclesiastes 1:9
"The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun."

There is no second chance after death.
This is simply your opinion based on what you were told, and not what the Bible teaches.

I see you haven't bothered to address the verses in the OP. The fact that you ignored them is very telling.

Our God is a God of Second Chances.

I interpret it slightly different as I believe that the baptism of fire is literal fire from the inner parts of the earth.

Matthew 12:40

"For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."

Matthew 3:11

"I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:"

I believe people are spiritually resurrected and dunked into the heart of the earth (in fire) and back out by Jesus.

1 Corinthians 15:42-44

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

But this is not something taught so I'll just state my beliefs and leave it at that. But I have met a few people, including myself, who have been baptized with fire. Cheers!

What is there to comment on? The verses have nothing to do with the title of the OP. The false doctrine of a second chance after we die, like with Universalism or Purgatory attracts those with itching ears, but if they don't make a decision now, and endure to the end and die righteous or holy, they will not see heaven.

Sadly, because the Church has taken the position to lie to everyone about what the Lowest Parts of the Earth means, they have to create more and more lies to cover it all up. It is a tangled web they have woven.

Here is an example...

Ephesians 4:9
"Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?"

Because we know that the Lowest Parts of the Earth is where babies come from, we know that Jesus first descended into the Womb of Mary to become born into this world...

Ephesians 4:10
"He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things."

In other words, Jesus descended *FIRST* and then ascended after death. Not the other way around!

Look...

John 3:13
"And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven."

Again, Jesus descends *first*.

So what does the Church teach? That Jesus went to Hell to 'release prisoners from Abraham's Bosom' or other nonsense. Some even go as far as to say Jesus suffered and burned in Torments!

Check this out...

Isaiah 30:33
"For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it."

Tophet of course is another name for Gehenna and the Lake of Fire. Let us now take a closer look at the word Tophet...

Isaiah 30:33 (JPS Tanakh 1917)
"For a hearth is ordered of old; Yea, for the king it is prepared, Deep and large; The pile thereof is fire and much wood; The breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it."

We see that Tophet means Hearth. More specifically, the Goddess of the Hearth Vesta...

full

Thus, God is showing us that the Lake of Fire is a representation of Vesta. What does Vesta look like?

Vesta (mythology) - Wikipedia

"The myths depicting Vesta and her priestesses were few, and were limited to tales of miraculous impregnation by a phallus appearing in the flames of the hearth—the manifestation of the goddess."

And there you have it. The Lake of Fire is a picture of the Moment of Conception. It is where 'Seed' goes after passing through...

Leviticus 18:21
"And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD."

Another Witness...

Leviticus 20:2
"Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones."

Again...

Leviticus 20:3
"And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name."

...and yet again...

Leviticus 20:4
"And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:"

Over and over, God teaches us that the Lake of Fire is where the 'Seed of Man' goes. Why? Because the Lake of Fire is where the Unsaved go to become Born Again into this world.

It is where we all came from. We should all be greatly humbled by this.

Don't forget that Vesta is the same as Hestia.

Hestia's brother is Hades...

Luke 16:23 (New International Version)
"In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side."

If God uses Hestia's brother Hades to define Hell, then wouldn't it make sense that Hades sister Hestia/Vesta would somehow be related to all of this?

Hades = Hell
Hestia/Vesta = Lake of Fire

Brother and sister. The connection is undeniable.

Again, Vesta's image and manifestation was a picture of the Moment of Conception.

Why would God teach this to us if it meant nothing?
