I understand.......but just for the heck of it .....just to check out your Doctrine——What if they “ DID?”
God will be their judge, and not I...

He may consider that they crossed the line and judge them harshly (according to Ezekiel 33:11-20); or He may take a more lenient tact with them (according to Romans 4:5). And it may in fact be different with each person (see Romans 9:15).

I think that the possibility of the first ought to be a motivation for a healthy fear of the LORD in our hearts; don't you?

Gal 4:28, Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
Gal 4:29, But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

These verses have absolutely NOTHING to do with what I am calling “Lucky Repentance”

Two Born-Again men of Faith that Trust in Jesus for their Salvation , Two mature Believers that have accomplished many things that pleased God, because their Faith was so strong that God worked His Goodness through them . They are working beneath a table ......a sonic boom startles both of them! ....they both jump up too fast and sharply bump their heads .....they both scream out an obscenity ....they then both die of sudden heart- attacks ! One guy had the good fortune to think to pray real fast and ask for forgiveness for his recent cursing.....the other man did not have the “ Luck” to remember to do this.....he died with just this One Sin On his record ( he was caught up On all of his other sins—- he Repented of all of them a little earlier that day)
As a result of all of this , the first guy who luckily Repented before he died goes to Heaven. The other Guy ? He went to Hell because he had not Repented Of ALL of his sins before he died......THIS is “ Lucky Repentance”—— something the first guy did which got him saved. This is what you believe.....you have said as much.....please defend this position . As it stands, it is an “ Accursed” Perversion Of Paul’s Gospel Of Grace.....”Accursed” means God Damned.....explain to me how your “ take” on last-second, Lucky repentance is NOT a False Gospel Damned by God.....
good illustration !

If anyone is a worker of iniquity and never repents, Jesus will say to them, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 7:23, Matthew 25:41).

Those who work iniquity will be cast into a furnace of fire (Matthew 13:41-42).

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

Again, 1 John 1:10 is speaking of past sins committed in the practical sense; while 1 John 1:8 is speaking of present and future indwelling sin, that, for the 1 John 3:9 believer, has been rendered dead (Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24, Romans 7:8) so that it no longer has any say over his behaviour (Romans 6:14).

This means that we don't have to commit sin in the present or the future.

And, therefore, we are responsible for sins that we commit in the present and the future.

We shall indeed be judged according to our works (Romans 14:10-12, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Revelation 20:12).

Read 2 Corinthians 5:10 again.

2Co 5:10, For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Question: who is the apostle Paul referring to here when he says "we"?

Also consider Colossians 3:25...

Col 3:25, But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

Will God respect your person because you will be saying unto Him, Lord, Lord?

likewise- self righteousness always is my friend..............

Who makes us Righteous ?

1 Corinthians 1:30
But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,

2 Corinthians 5:21
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Who Justifies us ?

Romans 3:24
and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Who Sanctifies us ?

1 Corinthians 1:2
To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours:

1 Corinthians 6:11
But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Who does not condemn us ?

Romans 8:1
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

hope this helps !!!

There is no doubt in my mind that it is Jesus who justifies us, who sanctifies us, and who does not condemn us. I don't even have to look at your scriptures to be able to know that.

But there is a false doctrine in the works that teaches that sanctification is merely positional and not practical.

And also, to "justify" means "to declare righteous"...

Do I need to remind you that it is impossible for God to lie (Hebrews 6:18, Titus 1:2)?

Therefore justification means that the man justified is made righteous (Romans 5:19).

Righteousness is a practical proposition (1 John 3:7, Romans 5:19, Matthew 5:6).

The proper “ Judgement” due for me is Eternal Damnation . God took the Judgement for all of my sins and put them on His Son at the Cross.....As if that were not enough, God took the Perfection Of His Son and put it not my Heavenly Account, making me Fit for Heaven. It’s all called Christianity 101..... where were you when the class was taught?
