My advice: be careful, maybe faith has nothing to do with this? I'll continue online worship services until the virus is under control. about how you are a mormon yet you watch the catholic mass .
This is proving my point that all are starting to merge to be one under a false love and false unity .

I see adventists , mormons , jehovas , baptists , protestant and catholic all merging more and more .

I am not saying this to be mean to anyone . I say it out of great love , because in my heart i desire no one to perish .

Go back to just bible reading . Learn the true JESUS in the bible . Learn that sound doctrine .
Everyone will eventually merge under this false love , IF they are not truly CHRIST centered .

Amigo, in trying to wrap my head around what you're saying, there is scripture for that, you can judge a church by the fruit of the members: Matthew 7:15-20. I see nothing wrong with many religions out there, perhaps not all have the truth I have found, but good churches none the less. Cheers!

My church is taking COVID-19 very seriously and taking all the government measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our members. I personally thanked my church pastor for showing enough humility and genuine concern for his flock to do this. Some Christians may argue that shutting down churches is going too far. If it was ONLY churches going under lockdown, I would believe it but given the fact that all other non-essential businesses are under the same fate, I'd say we are not above the law. To argue otherwise will only give non-believers the message that we are a bunch of entitled hypocrites who only want to be in positions of authority, not as people following the teachings of Jesus Christ.

If Christians are willing to go to COVID-19 infected places claiming God will protect them, just understand that prayers and Psalms are NOT magic spells, they are requests to the Supreme Being Who is sovereign in His decisions.[1] Furthermore, there is a very big difference between displaying faith and testing God.[2]

My advice is take this COVID-19 crisis VERY seriously, take the recommended precautions, and obey government regulations.[3] Even if you are skeptical of the government, they are MUCH more reliable than some random stranger on the internet.[4] Pray to God but also remember that we work for Him, not the other way around.[5]

Hello Devin.... I hope you don't mind my butting in to this conversation... as your words have caused me concern.

There are many people who would consider themselves GOOD people... and many "preachers" who talk a nice talk... promising their followers health.. wealth and prosperity.... then you have the Catholic church which is another story in itself... as in my opinion... it is the most corrupt of all institutions and not a church at all.... People need to be VERY careful which doctrines they follow... as the world is filled with LIES.
You mentioned Mormon... they are not considered Christian because they do not accept that Jesus is God. This is not a judgement on you or them.... I am just saying... the definition of a Christian is one who believes that Jesus Christ is God. Along with all these considerations... you have those who will tell you that you have to follow health laws and the keeping of the Sabbath...
It can be overwhelming... and it was for me also... as I started out on the Catholic spectrum... as this was my upbringing.

I encourage you to do as @amigo de christo has advised... Go back to just bible reading . Learn the true JESUS in the bible . Learn that sound doctrine . These are wise words spoken to you. Bless you.

I feel the same way as you have expressed here. I have no problem following Government mandates... ( I live in Canada )... my ENTIRE province... all of Ontario is going into lock down tomorrow.... to try and develop some control over this thing ( whatever it is ).

I feel the same way as you have expressed here. I have no problem following Government mandates... ( I live in Canada )... my ENTIRE province... all of Ontario is going into lock down tomorrow.... to try and develop some control over this thing ( whatever it is ).

Following the teachings of the entire Bible and not just the parts most compatible with one's own political stance will separate the sheep from the goats.

You seem to be forgetting that for Christians to gather for worship is as essential as any other essential activity. All governments have used the Wuhan virus to deliberately attack freedom of religion and freedom of worship through a bogus pandemic.

Indeed, COVID is being used as an excuse to destroy lives, livelihoods, and countries, which enslaving the populations. Masks, social distancing, and lockdowns have all proved to be worthless, since the same authorities who imposed these restrictions have been asserting that the infections are on the rise, when they should have dropped.

As to the bogus reported "cases", the PCR test has been reporting false positives rather than actual cases, while the medical meaning of case has been totally corrupted. And to add insult to injury, WHO has just removed from their website all information of natural immunity.

Percentage of population which died from COVID 0.03%
Adjusted percentage = 0.02%

Ontario: 115,126 total deaths for 2018-19
Percentage of population which died from all causes 0.85%

So for the sake of about 0.02 % of the population (primarily those in the 70-90 age group) the province has become a prison.

So far, I have seen only a couple of COVID-19 topics on this forum, one of them using memes as 'evidence' in the original post. That is not confidence inspiring to newer members who may be interested in Christianity.

If you are truly serious about your claims, you will provide easy access to evidence. It's basic intellectual honesty. If you are unwilling to do so, then I can only assume you are either lying or do not respect others enough to back up your claims. Relying purely on Contradictions in a debate will only amount to your word versus theirs at absolute best.
