You assume this has not taken place in “my” life.......you assume wrongly...
You think I’m a big- time Sinner NOW? Lol.....you should have seen me before I had the Holy Spirit in me!
Do you sin PURPOSELY? That is the point that evades you. Do we need to revisit all the scriptures pointing out the difference between unintentional and intentional sin?
You talk out if ignorance....you don’t know me at all...
I don't recall saying I did know you. But I do have a personal opinion formed in my mind about you, just as you do of me, which, by the way, is horribly inaccurate. I know all about the dangers of legalism. More than you. Trust me, I ain't no legalist, lol.
Sinning did not faze me my entire life until I asked God to Save me.....when that happened he gave me a New Heart, But He did NOT take away my Freedom.....A Free Man like me , does what he “ wants” all the time—- just like you do—
I get that. I agree completely that you are free to PURPOSELY sin if you want to. I'm also very aware that you're also going to sin out of ignorance or weakness. Once again, don't miss the point that seems to be evading you. This is about PURPOSELY sinning. Not losing a brave confrontation with the temptation to sin.
I have been made a “ New Creation ! I do what I want . The difference is that now that I am Saved , God HAS CHANGED MY “ WANTS” ......for some reason , you religionists and Tares can’t grasp that....
I'm not a religionist, trust me. Religion is the exact thing that drove me to faith in Christ.
If God has changed your wants, why are you purposely and willfully sinning where there is no battle with sin for you to struggle in? If you belly up to the bar and get drunk just because you want and there's no inner battle of 'should I, or shouldn't I?' then you are willfully sinning and denying Christ. You are rejecting the grace of God in deliberate unbelief. If you die in that state and don't repent you will go to hell, not into the kingdom of God.
I am a “ FREE” man whose biggest desire is to be a SLAVE to God ! Christianity sure is crazy isn’t it?Its a crying shame you don’t understand it. “ Religionists” never do.Nor do Tares and Spreaders Of Leaven.....just sayin’......lol.....
I understand Christianity better than you. All you have to do is read the Bible to see yours is a counterfeit grace while mine is the real thing. But I know I can't make you see the error of your ways. Only God can. You think grace was given so you can languish in your sin ON PURPOSE if you want and be free from the eternal condemnation of that sin. But the Bible says grace was given to us to be free of our sins. And that being free of your sin is the SIGN that you are born again, while purposely remaining in your sinful lifestyle is the SIGN that you are a child of the devil. That's what the Bible says. But you say that's not true.
1 John 3:
he appeared so that he might
take away our sins. And in him is no sin.
6No one who lives in him keeps on sinning.
See, Protestant Christians instantly see 'taking away our sins' as the legal pardon we have received in Christ, not what we actually do. But you can see that John is talking about Christ taking away the sins we do. And that the person who lives in him is the one that has their sinful life taken away. That's the sign that you are born again. But you say that is not true and that you can purposely sin and not have your actual sinful life taken away and you are in him nonetheless. That's just not what the Bible says, friend. You're entertaining a false, counterfeit grace taught to you by false, counterfeit teachers. You're in a very dangerous place. Repent of this false gospel while you still can. And stop leading others astray with it. Especially, young people caught in the clutches of our sexualized, substance abusing culture. Your gospel isn't going to set them free from that. It's going to give them false comfort that they can stay in it and still be saved when Jesus comes back.
