The doctrine exists.

Ok the doctrine exists, for you.
You used that doctrine to what?

Confirm that is your doctrine?
Or you accused an other, it's their doctrine?

Jude 1
[1] Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
[2] Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
[3] Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
[4] For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

He claimed to have lied after having done so...and used it as an opportunity to tout his doctrine that you can live in utter rebellion against the Lord and still be saved.

All liars shall have their part in the lake of fire (Revelation 21:8).

He claimed to be joking. His mistake thinking you would get it as a joke. He corrected his mistake with you. No more for him to do.

FYI- No human man is immune from lying.

FYI- Rev 21:8 is about All Human men who LIE to the Lord God.

I come across this discussion sometimes, where someone is basically defining the entire "Christian church" by their own experiences in it. Or by their perceptions of those who call themselves Christian but really aren't. Or by some other broad brush generalization.
I'm only defining the church the way the Bible says it will be in the last days.....

1But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come. 2For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good, 4traitorous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. 2 Timothy 3:1-5

It's here now. A church with a form of godliness but who denies the power to actually be godly.

It sure doesn't say so. How do you do all those other things in Revelation 21:8 to God? Or does that just apply to the sin you want it to?

Human Men are Not sent To The Lake of Fire For:
Disbelief in other Human men or For Acts Against other Human men.

The Lake of Fire is For WHOM?

Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!” (John 1:47)

Of course, you'll simply say it doesn't mean what it says.

Are you a sorcerer ?
Why are you Speaking "for me" something I did not say?

And resting in the gospel is signified by the new life, resisting and struggling with sin, not purposely living in it. And still living comfortably in your old life shows you are in unbelief and won't be saved when Jesus comes back, but Free Grace teaching will make sure you are deceived and think you're saved, nevertheless.

Odds would dictate that you would get something right every now and then, after all, even a “ blind hog” finds an acorn! A broken clock is correct twice a day, but somehow you have beaten the odds—- — every single statement that you make about me and my beliefs are wrong .....congrats!

That's not the part that's itching the ears of unbelievers. It's the part about being able to purposely sin in this life and still enter into the kingdom when Jesus comes back. Purposely living in sin is unbelief. Unbelievers don't get to enter into the kingdom at the return of Christ.

Wrong again. Purposely living in sin like the guy who had sex with his step- mother ? That’s purposely living in sin.Period. God will chastise such an errant one to get them back in line.Ignore That Chastisement at your own risk God ain’t gonna be Mocked....He can knock you dead in your tracks if He so chooses .....Relax ....nobody “ gets away” with anything in this life....

"...he will boast, saying, ‘I have peace though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart in order to destroy the watered land with the dry.’ 20“The LORD shall never be willing to forgive him, but rather the anger of the LORD and His jealousy will burn against that man..." Deuteronomy 29:19-20

"26For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES. 28Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?" Hebrews 10:26-29

......and on and on it goes .....the “ Willful” Ignorance and misunderstanding of ONE VERSE of Scripture causes a man to have to twist 50 other verses to support said ignorance....This is what happens when “a Lone Ranger’s” Pride will forbid him from listening to others that are God-Gifted Teachers that are Smarter than he is.......nah, some think that they know everything— they have nothing to learn from anybody else
Poor foolish Paul, wasting all of that time on Timothy ....there is no reason to train anybody to go out and help others understand the Word Of God....

We're it not for Teachers like Martin Luther who rescued the Lost Messages Of Paul, Ferris would be saying prayers to Mary and paying indulgences to get his buddies out of Purgatory......

Don't you understand that BB's Free Grace teaching says even the sin of going back to unbelief is covered by grace for the person who once believed? Haven't you understood this all along?

“ Even if we are UNfaithful....He REMAINS FAITHFUL ....for God can not deny himself” 2 Timothy2:13.......if one has been “ born again”, he cannot be unborn....it’s not advisable , but if you choose to act like Peter did, you could deny Him three times in the same day and you won’t be disowned by Jesus —- “he can’t deny himself”....

Because they 'upheld' the law is a better way to say it. That's the word Paul uses, but we get what you mean. We aren't saved because we uphold the law. We uphold the law because we have faith....

Romans 3:31
31Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Certainly not! Instead, we uphold the law (by this faith).

That's why not upholding the law shows a person to not have faith, and why they will be judged as an unbeliever by Christ when he returns. While the person who did uphold the law shows them to have had love for Christ and faith in God in this life, and so they will be judged as a believer and will go into the kingdom at the return of Christ.

You know that you are resting in Paul's gospel by if you have a faith that upholds the law. The fool is the one who thinks the faith that does not uphold the law is going to save him when Jesus returns. James and John taught the same thing. Dead faith won't save you.

"9Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God." 1 John 3:9

How do you know? Let's compare your answer with how the Bible says you know you're prepared to meet God.

HERE IS WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ......

Blood Bought 1953 said:
...that Gospel is what God is going to use to judge him by....no, he is not a fool—- he is prepared! I know that I am prepared to meet God ! How about you ?
How do you know? Let's compare your answer with how the Bible says you know you're prepared to meet God.

Romans 2:16........” God shall JUDGE the Secrets Of men—- ACCORDING to “ My Gospel”

....but this guy has no need for a Teacher—— he doesn’t miss a thing, does he?

All you have to do to be “ prepared” to meet God is to do the Will Of The Father. What would that “ WILL” be? Simple.Jesus told His Disciples all about It!...... “ BELIEVE on the One that He sent”....You “ Prove” that you really Believe when you REST in Paul’s Gospel Of Grace Plus NOTHInG!

It’s a sad fact, but the man that authored the words to that song , John Lennon , is more than likely languishing in Hell at this very moment ..... I loved the music of the Beatles.I still do. Turns out “ Love is NOT the Answer.” Being “ Born Again” is the Answer .Faith in Jesus Christ Plus Nothing.
John Lennon sang in one Of his songs , “ I don’t believe the Bible— I don’t believe in Jesus!” Well, he does now.

End of discussion as you are the confused one, not God, Paul or myself.

1 Cor 15
Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved

next.................
Amen! The gospel is the "good news" of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16). To “believe” the gospel is to trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as the ALL-sufficient means of our salvation. The gospel is not a set of rituals to perform, a code of laws to be obeyed or a check list of good works to accomplish as a prerequisite for salvation. That's not hard to understand. It's just hard for certain people to accept.

“Christ is THE END OF THE LAW for Righteousness “

“ Dead Faith” is still Faith.
A “ Dead Cow” is still a Cow—- it just does not “ produce” anything ( milk)
Dead Faith does not Produce any good Works ..
On the other hand, NO FAITH is what damns.....l
Dead Faith means an existing , saving Faith that has never been activated .....inactivated Faith sees no rewards in Eternity.
There are going to be many Believers in Heaven with zero rewards. They will be like “ a man barely escaping a house fire”. They will have “ the worst seats in the house” for Eternity.Sad indeed, but it beats going to Hell ...

Excellent post....sounds very similar to what I have cut and pasted in here and other forums many times over the years.....” Harry Ironside’s Explanation Of The Gospel.” Want to Bask in the TRUE “ Good News” Of Paul’s Gospel as opposed to hearing the “Condemnation” for the Born Again Saints shoveled up in here everyday by the “ Accusers Of The Brethren” like “Foolish Bueller” and “ just by Faith Plus Lucky Repentance ?
Please Google “ Ironside Gospel”..... I go there often to escape the Stale Air in here....the actual good news for man is a “ breath of fresh air”..... go get some!

The gospel certainly is "good news" and is a breath of fresh air, unlike the stale air of a perverted gospel. In 2 Corinthians 4:3-4, Paul clearly stated - But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

The Mailman and BB get this.....MY God have mercy on you if you “ DONT” ....read this and memorize it Foolish Bueller and justbyfaithandluckyrepentance......

by Dr. Harry A. Ironside (1876-1951)

"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures" (1st Corinthians 15:1-4).

It might seem almost a work of supererogation to answer a question like this. We hear the word, "Gospel" used so many times. People talk of this and of that as being "as true as the Gospel," and I often wonder what they really mean by it.

First I should like to indicate what it is not.

THE GOSPEL IS...
Not The Bible

harry_ironside.jpg
In the first place, the Gospel is not the Bible. Often when I inquire, "What do you think the Gospel is?" people reply, "Why, it is the Bible, and the Bible is the Word of God." Undoubtedly the Bible is the Word of God, but there is a great deal in that Book that is not Gospel.

"The wicked shall be turned into Hell with all the nations that forget God." That is in the Bible, and it is terribly true; but it is not Gospel.

"It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." That is in the Bible, but it is not the Gospel.

Our English word, "gospel" just means the "good spell," and the word "spell," is the old Anglo-Saxon word for, "tidings", the good tidings, the good news. The original word translated. "Gospel," which we have taken over into the English with little alteration is the word, "evangel," and it has the same meaning, the good news. The Gospel is God's good news for sinners. The Bible contains the Gospel, but there is a great deal in the Bible which is not Gospel.

Not The Commandments

The Gospel is not just any message from God telling man how he should behave. "What is the Gospel?" I asked a man this question some time ago, and he answered, "Why I should say it is the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount, and I think if a man lives up to them he is all right." Well, I fancy he would be; but did you ever know anybody who lived up to them? The Sermon on the Mount demands a righteousness which no unregenerate man has been able to produce. The law is not the Gospel; it is the very antitheses of the Gospel. In fact, the law was given by God to show men their need of the Gospel .

"The law," says the Apostle Paul, speaking as a Jewish convert, "was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ. But after that Christ is come we are no longer under the schoolmaster."

Not Repentance

The Gospel is not a call to repentance, or to amendment of our ways, to make restitution for past sins, or to promise to do better in the future. These things are proper in their place, but they do not constitute the Gospel; for the Gospel is not good advice to be obeyed, it is good news to be believed. Do not make the mistake then of thinking that the Gospel is a call to duty or a call to reformation, a call to better your condition, to behave yourself in a more perfect way than you have been doing in the past.

Not Giving Up The World

Nor is the Gospel a demand that you give up the world, that you give up your sins, that you break off bad habits, and try to cultivate good ones. You may do all these things, and yet never believe the Gospel and consequently never be saved at all.

THERE ARE SEVEN DESIGNATIONS OF THE GOSPEL in the New Testament, but over and above all these, let me draw your attention to the fact that when this blessed message is mentioned, it is invariably accompanied by the definite article. Over and over and over again in the New Testament we read of the Gospel. It is the Gospel not a Gospel. People tell us there are a great many different Gospels; but there is only ONE. When certain teachers came to the Galatians and tried to turn them away from the simplicity that was in Christ Jesus by teaching "another Gospel, "the apostle said that it was a different gospel, but not another; for there is none other than the Gospel. It is downright exclusive; it is God's revelation to sinful man.

Not Comparative Religion

The scholars of this world talk of the Science of Comparative Religions, and it is very popular now-a-days to say, "We cannot any longer go to heathen nations and preach to them as in the days gone by, because we are learning that their religions are just as good as ours, and the thing to do now is to share with them, to study the different religions, take the good out of them all, and in this way lead the world into a sense of brotherhood and unity."

So in our great universities and colleges men study this Science of Comparative Religions, and they compare all these different religious systems one with another. There is a Science of Comparative Religions, but the Gospel is not one of them. All the different religions in the world may well be studied comparatively, for at rock bottom they are all alike; they all set men at trying to earn his own salvation. They may be called by different names, and the things that men are called to do maybe different in each case, but they all set men trying to save their own souls and earn their way into the favor of God. In this they stand in vivid contrast with the Gospel, for the Gospel is that glorious message that tells us what God has done for us in order that guilty sinners maybe saved.
