Dear amigo,

Well of course it did. Who do you think Paul's letter to the Romans was written too? Veniciens?

The Catholic Church has been doing that for 2000 years!

You too! Are welcome to come to the wedding feast of the Lamb of God!

Peace be with you!

matt 28:19 Jesus said to his apostles behold i am with you until the end, so there must be apostles to the end

explain Jn 20:21-23
Christ continues his ministry in his church thru the apostles with the same mission power and authority
as the father sent, I send you
Exactly.

The practice of telling our sins directly to a priest is based in Scripture. THREE times in the Gospels (Matt. 16:19, 18:18 and John 20:23), we read where Jesus gave the Apostles the power to forgive sins or to hold them bound. This is NOT something that Jesus took lightly. In John 20:21-23, Jesus (who is God) breathes on the Apostles as he is giving them this power:

John 20:21-23
(Jesus) said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you."

And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the holy Spirit. Whose sins YOU forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins YOU retain are retained."

WHAT did the Father "send" the Son to do - that He was now sending the Apostles to do?
To bring about the FORGIVENESS of sins.

The fact that Jesus breathed on the Apostles when entrusted them with this ministry is highly significant because he doesn’t do this ANYWHERE else in the New Testament. In fact, there are only TWO times in ALL of Scripture where God breathes on man:

The first is when he breathed life into Adam.
The second is here in John’s Gospel when he is giving them the power to forgive or retain sins.

The practice of confessing your sins to the Church is an ancient one that goes all the way back to the Apostles themselves. We see this in the 1st century document, the Didache (The Teachings of the Twelve Apostles), where it emphatically states the necessity of confessing our sins to the Church:
Confess your sins in Church, and do not go up to your prayer with an evil conscience. This is the way of life. . . , On the Lord's Day gather together, break bread, and give thanks, after confessing your transgressions so that your sacrifice may be pure” (Didache 4:14,14:1 [A.D. 65]).

This document was written while most of the Apostles were STILL alive.

you can’t have Jesus without his church

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Dogma 157. Membership of the Church is necessary for all men for salvation.

I dont believe ROME . I do beleive JESUS and the bible , just not ROME .
Yet, you believe in the New Testament Canon of Scripture, that was compiled and declared by the Cathoolic Church - at the Council of Rome (383 AD).
And you don't find this hypocritical?

How could you possibly follow a Canon of Scripture that was declared by a "demonic" organization?

No . The mormons have the bible , but it dont mean they aint demonic infected . Lots of protestant churches
have had the bible , YET they teach falsely . Just cause Rome held onto the the canon , dont mean they did not twist stuff and lie .
HECK most churches do now adays . They false , they , just as many do , hold onto scripture, yet lie lie lie .
Even the KKK holds the glorious bible , BUT YA GOTTA KNOW they false . Even and the list goes on and on .
TRUE they did hold onto the true scriptures and copied them down faithfully they did . THEY never LIVED IT and often twisted it
but like many false ones , they had some truths too . Even satan said a part truth , yet we know he is a liar .
HE said to eve, ye shall be come as gods knowing good and evil , GOD said the same thing later ,they have become as us
knowing good and evil . BUT ya know satan is a liar . Even a broke clock is right twice a day .
Now everyone sit down for what i say next , EVEN POPE FRANCIS can say some truth . BUT I know what spirit that man is of
And it aint the HOLY ONE .
