the new covenant replaced the mosaic covenant!
ower (binding and loosing) and with His authority (keys) matt 16:18 matt 18:18

Teaching authority of the Apostles and their successors in the church founded in the one true founded by Jesus Christ!

Jesus Christ is the head of the church, (eph 5:23) the body of Christ,
(col 1:18) the new and eternal covenant, (pre-figured Jer 31:31) (Heb 8:8) new covenant replaces the Mosaic covenant, (Heb 8:13) Christ replaces David as king, (Lk 1:32-33) Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and men, (1 Tim 2:5 & Heb 12:24) but a mediator remains on earth mediating between God and His people, but Christ ascended to heaven, (acts 1) before He did He founded His church, on Peter, and the apostles, and their successors!
Mt 16:18 Mt 28:19 Acts 1:17 acts 2:42 acts 8:31 & 35 Lk 10:16 Jn 8:32 Jn 13:20 Jn 16:13
Jn 20:21-22 eph 2:20

We must be taught by Peter, the apostles, and their successors! Lk 10:16 Matt 28:19 Jn 21:17

Just sounds like your typical Catholic Gospel, that Christ started a chain of succession, a professional Church that requires the submission of all who claim to belong to this nominal Church.

Christianity is not encapsulated by a humanistic organization, controlled by men. God doesn't just assign men posts, and then expect them to exercise control over other men to make them Christians.

The Church does have ministers, but they are not to lead in the way the world does, as men exercising authority over others as in a kind of political command structure. The Church as an organization may have these posts, and God may honor these posts. But they can be corrupted just as men in any organization can be corrupted, the Church not excepted. If Israel could go corrupt as God's Chosen People so can the organized Church go corrupt.

Leadership is spiritual, and not political in spiritual matters. Organizations require political rule to maintain their organization. But it should never be confused with the spiritual authority only God exercises.

I don't know why all of this is being claimed under the heading of Replacement Theology? I don't adhere to RT, and believe all nations can have their time in the sun. Just as Israel had its time under the Law, so now many nations in the NT era have become Christian nations.

But all of them ultimately go corrupt, just as the Catholic Church and many Protestant Churches have gone corrupt. No organization is exempted from this trend towards corruption, because people everywhere are susceptible to it. Our allegiance is to God alone, if we are to remain faithful and spiritual people.

Peter and the apostles are dead, and had their own mission fields. They were called to start the Church by establishing the knowledge of the faith in the world. They did not begin a political organization with a fixed succession. There is nothing in the Bible about this. Christ is head of the church. He does not rule through a chain of apostles ruling in an organization down through history.

There was not one organized Church at the beginning, nor has there been only one since. There were several patriarchates, the Catholic Church only being one.

The "catholic" Church is only universally one when each individual places their faith in Christ as their Redeemer. There is only one faith and one Christ, and therefore only one universal Church body. And it is not defined by an organization, but rather, by our unity of faith in Christ.

We do not have to join any organized Church. We are exhorted only to remain in fellowship with other Christians, recognizing that the Holy Spirit gives gifts of ministry as He wills--not as men choose necessarily.

Not historical or biblical

acts 1:17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.

acts 1:26 And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

matt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

do the apostles must remain until the end also and the nations still need the teaching of the apostles to make disciples by baptism, without the apostles salvation would not be possible to us!

There is, of course, a stream of ministries in history, and they are organized into larger fellowships. The organization does not take the place of God in dictating the direction the Church should go in, who belongs in it, etc. Faith is the only criterion to belong to it--not the Catholic Church, and not any other denominational organization. Leaders, including religious ones, do go corrupt from time to time and over time.

Yes really. If you get your guidance only from the Catholic hierarchy, and not from God Himself, you will go down whenever the leadership has a problem. You need to trust in the Lord, and not in man. People will let you down.

Your spiritual life comes from God, from the Holy Spirit, and not from people. The fellowship we have with God's People can be wonderful. But it cannot and must not take the place of God. First God, and then people.

Can you imagine needing an intermediary, or agent, every time you wish to communicate or interact with your spouse? Neither do we need intermediaries between God and ourselves to enjoy the spiritual life God wants to directly have with us.

The Church can indeed help us in our relationship with God. And they can certainly be our spiritual family. But the Church is not the source of our spiritual life. Only God is.

Suit yourself, but in no way is the "New Testament" a Catholic or religious hierarchy. The New Testament is Christ's life and death and resurrection, in which we participate through the Holy Spirit. It is the revitalization of our spiritual lives, a spiritual regeneration.

Mixing our "rebirth" with belonging to a religious organization corrupts spiritual truth, and defeats the whole purpose of the Church, which is to serve the cause of spiritual life in Christ. That can be had with or without the Church. To have it in the Church is still a spiritual matter, and not an organizational matter. Organizations are only designed to serve the cause of ministry--it is not itself the source of spiritual life. Jesus alone is that!

Sadly, many Catholics serve the Pope first, and not Jesus. By listening to the Pope and to his message of an exclusive Catholic Church, people are hindered in their spiritual relationship with Christ. They think they have to go through a Catholic Father to find spiritual truth, whereas ministers are designed only to confirm and to aid in this--they are not the source of spiritual life itself.

But worst of all, Catholic people are misled into a divisive attitude with other Christians outside of that communion. I find that to be inconsistent with Christian teaching, which says that Christ himself is the spiritual source of unity among Christians--not the Catholic Church!

1 John 2.27 As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.

Universal? That rings a bell, like a one world religion.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put withi n you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (Baptism)

John 3:22
After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized. 23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.(Baptism)

John 4:4
When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John.

John 14:17
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Act 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.(Baptism)

Acts 8:36
And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Philip preached Jesus and the result is justification by baptism!

Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Rom 3:24
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Ephesians 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (baptism)

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

1 pet 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

1 Peter 1:22
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: see Ez 36

Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, (baptism rom 6:3-4)

1 Pet 3:20
Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!
(Ark of Noah a type of the church, member of Christ and his church and salvation by baptism!)
(Outside the ark all died and outside the church there is no salvation!)

This mountain destroyed the medieval catholic church (the ten nations). Stopping at the two legs is your error. The medieval 10 nation catholic rule was what this mountain destroyed and built a kingdom of individual believers that would fill the earth.

42 Just as the toes of the feet were part iron and part clay, this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle.
43 You saw the iron mixed with clay; that means that they will cement their alliances by intermarriages; but they won’t stick together any more than iron blends with clay.

This kingdom, not the Roman kingdom of the 2 legs. The 10 toes.

It is Christ and believers. Not an established religion.

The New Jerusalem is NOT the Catholic Church!! To answer the OP question, the Church (meaning all believers in Jesus Christ) did not replace Israel. This is evident by God reinstating Israel as a nation in 1948.
